Ignite

One of the most important things on Teemo is farming. It's an easy and safe way to get items and carry the game. You can see more about wave management in the bottom of the guide^^

Other things that might help you climb:
Focus on your own mistakes not your teams mistakes
Don't use the chat, it will only distract you
If you die a lot then buy more pink wards to prevent ganks and look at the minimap more often to see if you can find the enemy jungler. If you see the enemy jungler botside, you can play aggressive without the risk of getting ganked.
If the enemy laner is meele, then try to poke him everytime he goes for cs. It's really hard for the opponent to all in you if you poke them down under 50% hp.

HIGHLIGHTED VIDEO

Hello there this is my Teemo guide, I have been Challenger for the past 4 seasons and currently I have 2 accounts in Challenger and trying to get my 3rd account to Challenger. I main Teemo and Tryndamere.
These are the runes and build I like the most on Teemo. There are other build options out there, but this guide is only about Electrocute and Grasp Teemo. I have been using it in Challenger.

This is my Challenger accounts

This is my greatest winstreak of all time in ranked

This is 2 of my smurfs

Hope you have a great day!^^
PROS

+ Win teamfights with Shrooms.
+ Its easy to poke melee champs in laning phase.
+ Teemo's Shrooms can be used as wards.
+ With the right runes and items he is tanky.
+ Good to secure objectives with Shrooms.
+ He can surprise enemies with his passive.

Teemo is great in soloq because of his ability to pressure the map with , this ability can turn a teamfight around and keep you safe from ganks. is great for roaming, sticking to enemies and escaping dangerous situations. If played correctly Teemo will make laning phase a living hell for every melee champ because of his ability to poke with and .
CONS

- Vulnerable to CC.
- Your team tilts when they see Teemo.
- Some runes and items makes you squishy.
- People will focus you alot.
- If Teemo gets behind in laning phase, then its hard to survive ganks.

It is very difficult to play Teemo if the enemy have a lot of CC, and that is because of how immobile Teemo is. Being ganked is also a major problem, if you're playing aggressive. And if you already used Flash before, it's almost impossible to escape, without perfectly placed shrooms.

SUMMONER SPELLS
-
FLASH: I take flash because Teemo don't have any escape if ganks appears, so it's really important to stick with that one summoner spell, as the main summoner spell. It's also really good in teamfights and in scenarios where someone wants to escape, and you want that last hit in, that kills him.
IGNITE: I take Ignite to have more pressure in lane, and you have way more kill potential. If you put up your shrooms really well, you will be able to one vs two, when having Ignite as a summoner spell. It also gives them grievous wounds and it helps killing ADCs and APCs easier.
TELEPORT: It also possible to go top with this summoner spell, if you really want to play super safe. If you die to ganks most games when playing Teemo, it's also possible to go with this summoner spell, but then you should learn your mistakes and eventually play more safe or ward more. It is still recommended to go with Ignite most of the time though!
Doran's Ring: This item gives 15 Ability Power, 60 Health and it also comes with 2 UNIQUE Passives that help us keep our mana up and deal more damage to minions:

UNIQUE Passive: +5 mana regen per 5 seconds
UNIQUE Passive: +5 on-hit damage vs minions
Doran's Shield: More sustain in my lane, especially good because I go toplane. I can poke more and you can chill more when you need to get CS (Minions) and you still deal an okay amount of DMG despite going with a defensive first item.

Core Items
-
Liandry's Torment: This item gives 75 Ability Power, 300 Health and it comes with two UNIQUE Passives that helps us deal more damage throughout the game:

UNIQUE Passive: Madness: Damaging champions increases the damage you deal by 2% per second until exiting combat (up to 10%).

UNIQUE Passive: Torment: Dealing spell damage burns enemies for 1.5% of their maximum health per second. Lasts for 3 seconds. If their movement is impaired, they take 2.5% of their maximum health per second instead. 100 max damage per second vs monsters.
Sorcerer's Shoes: I get these because of the extra dmg, the extra movement speed and because it's pretty good on Teemo. Because he scales better with magic penetration than Ability Power. You could also take Ninja Tabis, if enemy team are full AD. And if they are full ap go Mercs Treads. 99% of my games I take Sorcerer's Shoes
Nashor's Tooth: As a third item, I get this item because it gives you so much from one item, that makes Teemo pretty good. More AP, more atk speed and more CDR which equals to better 1v1s, more shroom placements, better farming due to atk speed as well, and more dmg output with the extra AP
Morellonomicon: More AP, more Magic Penetration, and Teemo scales really well on magic penetration, the passive also does so they don't heal that much, and if they have a Mundo, it would be possible to get this earlier. It's a really great item on Teemo..
Void Staff: This is the core item when it comes to dealing explosive damage to the enemies because of how the passive ignores the enemies Magic Resist. A really important item on Teemo. Great power leads to great fights.
Rabadon's Deathcap: Rabadon's Deathcap gives 120 Ability Power which makes Teemo pretty scary on its own. But the item comes with an UNIQUE Passive as well:

UNIQUE Passive: Increases Ability Power by 40%. This makes Teemos AP burst huge.
  • Live forever
  • Resolve: We take resolve to be more tanky, we don't want to get smashed down like a potato. We also want to take objectives down faster. (Grasp still works but right now I'm using the Electrocute Runes you can see in the top of the guide^^)
  • Keystone
  • Grasp of the Undying: PASSIVE: Dealing or receiving damage within 2 seconds generates one stack every second. At 4 stacks, your next basic attack within 6 seconds, against an enemy champion deals 4% of your maximum health bonus magic damage, restores 2% of your maximum health, and permanently grants 5 bonus health. The empowered attack duration refreshes whenever dealing or receiving damage.
On ranged champions, the effects are reduced by 40%, down to 2.4% of your maximum health, 1.2% of your maximum health, and 3 bonus health respectively.
  • Strength
  • Demolish: PASSIVE: You generate stacks on enemy structures within 600 units, up to 6 after 3 seconds. Your next attack versus a structure with 6 stacks deals 100 (+ 30% of your maximum health) bonus physical damage. Demolish will only go on cooldown upon triggering the damage.
  • Resistance
  • Bone Plating: The third rune is Bone Plating. Bone Plating protects you from burst damage every 45 seconds. After Teemo takes damage from an enemy champion the next 3 spells or attacks Teemo receives deal 30-60 less damage.
  • Vitality
  • Overgrowth: PASSIVE: Every 8 monsters or enemy minions that die near you permanently grants 3 bonus health.
After gaining 15 stacks (120 monsters or minions), you gain an additional 2.5% maximum health.
  • Become a legend
  • Precision: I take precision to get more attack speed, and to be able to deal more DMG in close combat, I also deal more DMG the lower HP I have, which means I can bait my opponent to kill him, because I'm aware of my own strength, which is important.

  • Legend
  • Legend: Alacrity: PASSIVE: Gain 3% (+ 1.5% per Legend stack) attack speed, up to 18% with 10 stacks.
  • Combat
  • Last Stand: PASSIVE: PASSIVE: Deal 5% increased damage to champions while below 60% maximum health. This increases based on your missing health, up to 11% increased damage while below 30% maximum health.
PASSIVE
ABILITY
Guerrilla Warfare (Passive): INNATE: Teemo gains invisibility if he stands still for 1.5 seconds without acting or being acted upon. He will remain stealthed so long as he doesn't move, doesn't act, or is Airborne. If within a Brushmaker brush, Teemo gains stealth after 1.5 seconds even while moving and may move freely within its boundaries without breaking stealth.
ELEMENT OF SURPRISE: When Teemo breaks stealth, he gains the Element of Surprise for 3 seconds, granting him 20 / 40 / 60 / 80% bonus attack speed.
Q
Blinding Dart (Q): ACTIVE: Teemo shoots a dart at the target enemy, dealing them magic damage and blinding them for a short duration.
W
Move Quick (W): PASSIVE: Teemo gains bonus movement speed if he hasn't taken damage from enemy champions or turrets for 5 seconds.
ACTIVE: Teemo doubles his bonus movement speed for 3 seconds and prevents it from being disabled by damage for the duration.
E
Toxic Shot (E): PASSIVE: Teemo's basic attacks deal bonus magic damage and poison his target. Poisoned targets suffer magic damage for 4 seconds, with subsequent attacks refreshing the poison's duration.
R
Noxious Trap (R): ACTIVE: Teemo tosses a mushroom trap on the ground, which stealths and arms after 1 second, lasting up to 5 minutes. While armed, mushrooms grant sight around them. Mushrooms can bounce if thrown on top of another mushroom. This can only happen once.
If an enemy steps on a mushroom, it detonates, poisoning all nearby enemies, slowing them, granting sight of them, and dealing them magic damage over 4 seconds.
Minion Control
I would recommend you to study this video because wave management/Minion Control is one of the most important skills in the game. If you master this you will climb!

''Teemo rides a thin line between chipper compatriot and unrepentant killer, but there's no one else I'd rather have as a friend.''

~ Tristana

Undeterred by even the most dangerous and threatening of obstacles, Teemo scouts the world with boundless enthusiasm and a cheerful spirit. A yordle with an unwavering sense of morality, he takes pride in following the Bandle Scout's Code, sometimes with such eagerness that he is unaware of the broader consequences of his actions. Though some say the existence of the Scouts is questionable, one thing is for certain: Teemo's conviction is nothing to be trifled with.
