I'm Cbra.
I'm playing Morgana since Season 2 and I lived through every torture Riot did to her.
This is just a basic guide to play her in Mid and maybe branch out to Top.

Pros + Strong in teamfights + Strong poke + Strong wave push + ******s when two-shotting champions + immune to CC with shield

Cons → Weak laning → No escape abilities → No gap closer → Vulnerable when Q is on CD → Mana issues early → Q is slow

PASSIVE ABILITY

SOUL SIPHON (Passive): Gives you extra sustain and you should kill the crab as Morgana, because she gives you a good chunk of health back.

Q

DARK BINDING (Q): Basically every enemy you hit when its max rank, is a sure kill, as long as you or your team can follow up. Unfortunately it is quite slow, but with enough mind****ery you can usually bait the enemies into it.

W

TORMENTED SHADOW (W): Max first, enables you to push lanes, with it on Rank 3 (Level 5) you can kill ranged minions.

E

BLACK SHIELD (E): Makes you immune to CC and blocks a bit of magic damage, able to win games with it, "maybe" use on the ADC.

R

SOUL SHACKLES (R): Stun, double damage and a movement speed boost to you, usually used with Zhonyas in bigger teamfights, but in 1v2 / 2v2 fights, it can also be used without it, as long as the enemies don't burst you.

KEYSTONE Summon Aery: Gives your more shield and your attacks deal more damage. FIRST RUNE Manaflow Band: Helps with your early mana problems and gives you additional mana regeneration. SECOND RUNE Transcendence: Helps you achieve 40% CDR and helps your long Q CDs. ;-) THIRD RUNE Gathering Storm: Morg has a weak early and with this rune, your mid/endgame gets even stronger. SECOND TREE Presence of Mind: Getting mana back and CDR reduction on your Ultimate is the best thing that could happen and this rune makes it possible. SECOND TREE Coup de Grace: Deleting enemies with your Q+W gets you rock solid and this rune helps a lot.

We want this item for the Magic Penetration it provides, so that we deal extreme damage with our abilities.

Gives you all the stats you need and makes bursting people easier, absolute core item'd.

Flat Magic Pen is always good against squishies, build early and finish the item later.

Boosts your AP into the holy 500/600's. Allows you to two-shot squishies with Q+W.

Increases the damage to tanks massively, always worth a buy, buy it early if they build lots of MR.

Makes your Q hit way harder.

Perfect item if you want to get Pentas in teamfights.

A favorite of mine, if you discover, that your team is bad at pushing, build this item as your last item and just walk through towers.
