Mordekaiser is a strong top lane AP bruiser. He's strong, deals a good bit of damage and has excellent offensive and defensive capabilities. He can build well and is an A Tier top lane champion in both General and High Elo. He is an intermediate champion, so while he's easy to learn, he isn't irrelevant when you get higher elo. Of course, it will take about 10-15 games to learn him well, but he's a fun champ who can shred in team fights. As one of the few AP top lane champions, he's an interesting champion to play. He can also Midlane, and it can be quite enjoyable because he is an AP bruiser instead of your normal burst mage. He also doesn't have the limit of mana, which is what can be a problem with strong AP champions.

Mordekaiser is a strong champion. A lot of early game and team fight damage will be done by Mordekaiser's passive. It's like a blender around him and will deal a large amount of damage once they're inside. You need to get three hits in, so a good combo would be Auto Attack, Q, E and they're pulled inside to your magic blender. This will deal a ton of damage and is even easier if they're inside your R. You can use this passive to walk into team fights with Auto, Auto, Q, E, W, Auto, Q, E.

Early game, Mordekaiser can have weak health and armor wise early game, so it's important to wait to trade. It's best to at least have your W to shield any attack damage you receive when you trade with the other top laner. Make sure to farm minions effectively with your Q and you can use your E to pull minions out of turrets and farm them. You need to stay good on CS to stack AP items and armor and to effectively build him.

Mordekaiser's ult is a great isolation spell and allows you to kill off low health enemies. When you do R someone, make sure you have your other spells and do one of the offensive combos I mentioned earlier(Ex. Auto, E, Q, W). You'll be able to kill the enemy, and they're missing stats as well. Not only does it help you and your team when you kill them, it also allows you to isolate enemies from team fights. Be sure to be careful around turrets, as they can still target you in the realm(I learned that the hard way).

It's a work in progress, but I will update it with each patch as new champions, items, and changes come to the game. I love playing AP Mordekaiser, and I hope that people who have found this guide enjoy him too. He's not incredibly popular, but he's still a strong A tier champ, so you don't have to worry about him getting banned as much or that he's too weak.
