Introduction

This is my first guide so please try it out... I have played about 150 games as teemo, and using this guide for about 100, so I feel fairly confidant that i understand him pretty well. He is a great assasin, ranged dps harass... Remember the most important rule of LOL DONT get MAD and you should be fine....

He is great for team fights and assisting others, and all in all he is a Legendary carry, he is very squishy though, using this build i have taken down fully built Warwicks and Master Yi's, other chammpions like ashe are a pain at first, but as you get farther along in your build you can take most anyone out. ive even 1v1ed other teemos, such as full AP, or AS, and they just dont do as well. because my hits are still relatively fast, and they pack a major punch, i usually come out on top!

Teemo is my favorite champion, so i might be making him sound better than he is, but i really dont think so....

Summoner spells

Flash is A MUST as teemo, i often get ganked after ive gotten 2-3 kills or so, as my team comes to help me i can Flash behind our tank and start unloading with my auto attack/ Toxic Shot, and use Blinding Dart as necessary on the other teems main DPS character EX. Jax, Master YI, Trydamere, Warwick, Ect, Ect... Flash is also great for wall hopping escapes or just putting distance between you and an enemy character. Flash can also be Offensive for chasing too, this happens less often once you get Frozen Mallet.

Ignite is more optional, but it is great for negating enemy lifesteal items, or last hitting as it does damage over time just like your poison. This greatly increases your chance of getting the kill.

Other Options....

Ghost for escapabilty. i dont use it much but it is rumored to be worth it!
Exhaust: is not needed becasue we have frozen mallet :P
Teleport: i dont ever use this, but i can see its usefullness, you can teleport to shrooms and other stuff, but i never use it...

BAD BAD BAD ONES!!!!
Clarity: not needed if you have a few mana regen runes.
Heal: not needed late game, i guess it might help early game, but i feel it isnt worth it, Late game you have enough lifesteal to get by without it.
Clairvoyance: Great skill!!! But leave it to the supports
Rally: Never worth it, ive never seen this skill used well, teemo isnt a stand still character and the damage it gives you just isnt that much.
Smite: You Are not Temmo of the Jungle :P

Runes and masteries

Mana regen is very important early game, it helps you stay in the lane longer, also the extra magic pen helps your Toxic Shot do more damage. attack speed is key with teemo, it also helps because i focus more attack damage rather than attack speed, but your attack speed is still pretty high with this build.

The masteries help your attack damage and speed, but you can also go 21/9/0 with points into Evasion and Nimbleness or the points into Strength of Spirit for the extra hp regen. Other teemo guides go 9/0/21 for AP teemo, but i find AP teemo less effective than AD/AS teemo.

Skill sequence.

The skill sequence above wont work for some reason so i will just have to explain it....

Start with E for "E"xtra harassment ability.
Your Skill Order by level 6 should be, E->Q->E->W->E->R...
Then level in priority of Noxious Trap-> Toxic Shot-> Blinding Dart-> Move Quick. (Switch Blinding Dart and Move Quick as needed).

The poison from Toxic Shot is your most valuable damage source as it does initial damage added to your attack damage, then it does poison..

Teemo Triple shot/ Passive use

A good way to harass the enemy players is auto attack then Blinding Dart then auto attack..

Because Blinding Dart resets your auto attack, you get 3 shots off in quick succession.

This is Great for last hitting and just doing damage output.

Your Passive Camouflage And how to Use It.
Bassically if you want to gank someone just place a shrrom infront of you and stand still and wait for them to pass if you know they are coming you way. then leap out and use the Teemo Triple Shot combo to do burst damage, then Attack and posion as neccesary, maybe even ignite to finish them off.

Items

Boots and Health Potion x3 for started, this is my favorite starting items.

For the other items, Madred's Bloodrazor and Frozen Mallet are a must, Pick Either Guinsoo's Rageblade or Bloodthirster, or both if you want, ireccomend The Guardian Angel for survivabilty because of how squishy teemo is.

Technique

I got a comment about describing my so i shall...

because i mainly play 3v3 i will describe it from a 3v3 perspective.

Early game:
Go top! Always, if your team knows anything about playing League of Legends, then you should have a team where teemo taking top works just fine..

Soooo as i was saying go top and just Zone your enemy, stay in the bush and shoot them with the triple shot combo. farm last hits as much as possible, dont push the turret unless they are at base.

if you want kills, go camouflage in a bush, let them push a little bit. Before hand you should place Noxious Trap in places you think they will run. then after they have pushed a little bit past the middle line, go behind them and shoot them a few times with Toxic Shot, then use the triple shot combo, hopefully, with good placement they hit a Noxious Trap or two

Mid Game

You should have Level 2 boots, and either Madred's Razors or Recurve Bow
and 1-3 kills or so. just keep pushing, harassing, and punishing the enemy for over extending, always be a good team player and alert your team to MIA'S. push the enemy and get the tower. it shouldnt be to hard unless the enemy has a range snare ability like Rune Prison, or Tryndamere with his Undying Rage.

Late game

If you played teemo right, you should have most of your build, and 5-6 kills under your belt.
just keep pushing, most enemy champions should be no problem for you.
just kill the enemy, place shrooms to protect you around the map, use your shrooms like a Sight Ward. when you kill the enemy team, push their towers! you should be able to win fairly easily.

Farming

THIS IS THEM MOST IMPORTANT THING!!!!!!!!
Farming is worth more than kills are, so just zone your enemy, and farm while they are experience drained.
Here is a quick tutorial on zoning
When you have 150 creep kills, and maybe 2-3 kills and probably 0 deaths, while your enemy solo is probably at 100. I cant stress how important it is.

just remember to zone your enemy and farm away while harassing them with your toxic shot.

Mushroom placement

Place your mushrooms hereSelf explanatory
and here on 5V5

The 4 Yellow in the mid is a MUST. they prevent enemy ganks.

Green are youre priority shrooms depending on whatever lane you are in...
The ones wit h the circles around them are also important to have
