More..
* If you have any questions about her, add Kovenivia (changed my name recently from Kovendoxel).
Obviously, if you're playing against people who play competitively, you won't always be getting 0 death and 10 kills plus. But if you play well with her, you will most likely shine in ranked as well. In normal, however, a non-fed anivia is considered weird. Seriously tho, unless you're playing against some really good people, you'd better be ****ting on your enemies' face.
Let me rant on this for a bit:
People tend to think that Clarity is for noobs who don't know how to control their mana. I can agree with that statement for the champions like Annie, Kassadin, Malzahar, etc... Hell, I don't even use Clarity on my Taric. But Anivia is different. She has an incredible nuking ability that for her to stay back and save mana just doesn't seem right. She has the ability to kill anyone in a couple of seconds early game, so why not use that as an advantage?
Besides, last time I checked, people weren't landing their Flash Frost every single time. The truth is, unless you're very slow/dumb/close to her, it is very easy to dodge Flash Frost. Even amazing anivia players will not land it perfectly all the time.
Enhancing her early-game pwning ability's the only reason?!? No. I got something better. I know having a jungler isn't so required anymore, but most teams do try to get one if possible. And junglers need the blue buff too, you know. Especially Nunu. I can boost my nuking ability with clarity, and junglers can boost their ganking ability with the blue buff. There are some other reasons but I don't want no wall of texts too much.
Exhaust No. She can stun and slow every few seconds.
Ignite Why clarity over ignite? Because you already do a ton of burst dmg, and whereas ignite is a single dmg spell, with clarity you can do about 2-3 full combos with clarity.
*UPDATED*
Even though you get to rape-lots with Clarity, you can rape as much with Ignite. Just make sure you follow the build #2 when taking Ignite over Clarity.
Ghost Good spell, if used right.
Heal Nope.
Revive Noooo.
Smite Only take if you want someone to dodge the queue.
Teleport I wouldn't. I know she's slow, but it's really not necessary.
Cleanse Flash + Good Timing will do the job.
Fortify Not yours to take.
Rally Take this and smite for the queue dodge.
Clairvoyance She's a nuker, not a support.
*FOR BUILD #1, CLARITY AND FLASH ARE RECOMMENDED!
It's easy for me to get many kills when I play Anivia, so I always get Mejai's Soulstealer. Even if you aren't getting kills, playing smart, staying alive and engaging in team fights will get you enough stacks. Mejai's on Anivia is recommended.
REMEMBER TO GET Blasting Wand before getting Mejai's Soulstealer as 40 extra AP early game will get you even more kills. Get mejai next, then complete your shoes.
* If the enemy team is AP heavy and are stacking MR, I recommend you to get Abyssal Mask instead of Void Staff. Otherwise, get Void Staff. I'm not a huge fan of Banshee's Veil on Anivia, and as far as the defensive items go, I would say that Abyssal Mask is your best option.
*UPDATED*
Get Abyssal Mask instead of Void Staff. You already have lots of Mpen and extra MR sounds better than extra Mpen in late game.
1. Anivia's "Q" can be detonated. Just simply press "Q" again. If her "Q" touches an opponent, it will slow the opponent. If it's detonated right above/slightly behind the enemy, it will stun the enemy target. To get the maximum damage out of your "Q", you want to make it detonate just a little behind the target.
2. Her "W" is used to corner your opponents, or save your allies, but it can also be used as a temporary sight ward. Place it in the bush to reveal the opponents.
3. Your combo can differ depending on the situation:
If you've somehow managed to hit the enemy with your "Q", then go with the "R" - "E" combo. But you'd usually start with "R" - "E" then "Q". If you practice enough, you'll be able to use "E" before "R" since it takes some time for "E" to hit the target. This technique is useful if you have low mana, since starting with "R" will burn up lots of mana before you can even use "E".
You can also go "Q" - "E" then "R" and use the wall to keep the opponent stay in the circle, or you can even go "R" - "Q" then "E" if you want to stun the opponent in the circle.
Here's a Better Way of Explaining for You LoL Rapists Out There:
1. Knock your victim out with your roofie ( Flash Frost) by tossing it in your victim's mouth. Wrap the victim around with a blanket ( Glacial Storm). Then RAPE ( Frostbite)!!
2. You can rape them raw with just a blanket ( Glacial Storm) and your toy ( Frostbite) if you don't have enough money to afford a roofie.
3. Or you can wrap them up with a blanket so they're slowed, then you can feed them a roofie, then you can rape.
4. Please, this is fictional. WARNING: Don't do this in real life!!
If you're a first-time Anivia, laning against Katarina might be a little hard. Try to put your "R" either on you or near you when she Shunpo you.
If Poppy comes at you targeting someone else with her shield on, you're fked. Use your defensive skills and try to help your team burn the opponent's carries down asap.
Kassadin is a ***** to fight against. Because Anivia's spells are combo-based, his silence will be a pain to deal with. I would recommend you to switch places with an AD carry.
If you're laning against another Anivia, the best thing you can do is to dodge her "Q". Anivia vs Anivia is entirely about who dodges their "Q" first. You can see whether or not she has her egg by clicking on her. Do not go reckless on her by turret-diving when she has her egg.
How I get First Blood every time:
1. It's better to just farm minions until you're level 2. Because Anivia's spells are combo-based, her single "Q" spell won't do much dmg at level 1.
2. When you get your "E" at level 2, start harassing with your "Q - E" combo. Note that it's easier for them to dodge your "Q" the further you are away from your opponent. Practice hitting with your "Q". It travels sloooooowly.
3. Got a FB already? Grats. Then you're good to go. No? Then just keep harassing until their health stays at 40-60%.
4. Most champions will underestimate anivia, so they'll stay around with half of their health gone. Once you get to 6, use clarity if you don't have mana, then get just a littttle close to the enemy champion, use flash to get very close, then use "R - E - Q" combo. Her autoattack does around 70-80 dmg at that level so if they're sitting at like 30 health, just simply click them.
