Wanna know why?!

Cuz as I've stated multiple times this is how I play her and it works great for me, there was no AD guide, all AP for Ahri and I just want to get it out that its okay to play AP champs AD. We all know this.

Yes I max charm first, scroll down and you'll see why, I explain it. If you think its dumb then good for you don't max charm first.

This will probably get more and more filled with ranting due to the fact that everyone takes things way to seriously and doesnt get the nature of this, for the few that do get it, I've been enjoying our insights and talks via discussion and ingame and I thank you for that. For the people that are just out there to make themselves look like they know everything, leave ....

Introduction

*** This guide started off as quick hey look, Im going to slowly start making it more professional looking and complete during this week. Please don't write it off just cuz of the look, truly look at this and try it out ***

Yo, my name is Enso, or Ensomere, and I enjoy messing around whenever I play LoL but I also like winning. I don't enjoy following the same build / style as everyone else cause, hey everyone can do that. I really like playing typical AP champs as AD or vice versa and creating an effective build / play style where I can truly compete and not be a dumb troll but a "holy ...., I can't believe that worked" type of player. This is my guide to how I play AD Ahri, an early game burst AD Carry.

Pros / Cons

::Pros::
Fun to play
Charm = Great 1v1 CC
Good Burst
Vast mobility / escapes

::Cons::
People constantly telling you it doesn't work ...
No dmg enhancing skills
No AD Ratio skills
Hard to get back on par if you fall behind

Seriously who cares about pro's and con's play the champs you like to the play style that makes you better than the opposition. All the time you see people go "I'm not gonna play so and so cuz of this" or " that champ sucks, dont pick him/her, blah blah blah ". Who cares, Have fun.

Masteries

With the masteries I do a basic 21/9/0 offensive set up. There is really no need to go into detail as to why I do this, any true player can look at this and go, Damage ... extra health ... mkay.

Runes

By the time I'm done with this because I'm adding things here and there and responding to requests, comments etc from guides, you're going to see, This is my play style not yours ...., a lot =P. Cuz its true, just because it is on here doesn't mean you can't change it up.

So for runes I go ....

x3

Playing an AP as an AD carry, I need my AD to be boosted up a bit so that's why I put in3 of these.

x9

I don't like attacking slow early game and I like having a bit of a boost mid/late game. I like to go on the side of Crit early game, so the more times I hit the more chance I get of crit'ing, which can give me the kill over someone who has more AD. It's a gamble and a weird thought process, but it's mine. And who doesn't love attack speed. I DO!

x9

MORE ATTACK SPEED MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! ... ya ...
Greater Mark of Desolation

x6

Okay so this is just a quirk of mine cuz of OCD but I like things to come out in 10's and so this way with Armor Pen gets you close to 10 Arm. Pen and +10 AD ... it's dumb and weird but hey that's my quirk and it gives you stats you need to kill people. Don't Judge hah.

x3

"More Power .. " - Tim "The Toolman" Taylor. (Congratz to those who got that quote / joke)

So in the end you have ....
[*] +9.6 Attack Damage
[*] +10 Armor Pen.
[*] +13% Atk Speed.

Items

As everyone knows you start off with Boots and Health Potionx3 with a support with no heal. If you do have a heal support such as you start with a Doran's Blade.

Early game I really don't like to double Doran's Blade, that's my preference. I like to be smart, poke and get kills when I can and farm until I can buy a B. F. Sword and if Im doing well I'll stay in lane til I can get Berserker's Greaves as well.

So you're first back should look like ....

Now it's time to do some heavy poking with and get some more kills and turrets down, start building Infinity Edge and start by getting Cloak of Agility first. The extra crits will help a lot in getting kills. After Infinity Edge you should get your Sheen and start building Trinity Force.

You should start mid game with ...
/ with either these built / or actually finished.

As you continue to destroy I would go with a Bloodthirster, for more damage and lifesteal. Sometimes I throw in Vampiric Scepter while I'm building my Trinity Force. Next I go Phantom Dancer so I hit more and I crit more. To finish off the build I get Guardian Angel so that when I am focus'd in team fights I can come back and help finish things off for my team.

My final build looks like this 90% of the time ...

Of course remember all builds are subject to change based on team comp. on your side and the opposition. Sometimes its smart to go more defensive if needed by swapping out one item for another. Don't look at a guide and think you have to go that way. This is my build and how I build my AD Ahri because it plays almost perfectly to my play style and scales nicely throughout the game for me.

::Item replacements::

Opposition extremely tanky ? .. Madred's Bloodrazor

Someone constantly CC'ing you with a stun, aka Taric Sion .. or Ryze snaring ya ? .. grab a Banshee's Veil

Too much armor ? ... Last Whisper

Remember you can change the build and its order if it suits you better or the situation.

Skill Sequence

The way I play AD Ahri I max out Charm first with Fox-Fire side by side. Always pick up Spirit Rush at 6, 11, 16. I don't worry about Orb of Deception, although maybe getting it at 4 could be useful to grab that finisher right at turrets in early game with the second damage being true damage.

So the two ways you can go skill wise are ...

Charm, Fox-Fire, Charm, Fox-Fire, Charm, Spirit Rush .......

or

Charm, Fox-Fire. Charm, Orb of Deception, Charm, Spirit Rush .....

maxing Charm first with your ult, Spirit Rush, then Fox-Fire finishing with Orb of Deception

Charm

Charm is a great initiator. Use it to pull enemy champs towards ya to do some damage as a harass. Great for team fights against the other adc or primary focus target. Sometimes its better to charm the support or other champ with your target if your target is low on health.
Fox-Fire

Use this every time you engage or get someone with your charm. It is a great quick burst that does decent damage at low levels and can trigger your Sheen or Trinity Force proc for some nice burst damage.
Spirit Rush

Your ult is amazing. Its a damaging flash that you can use up to three times. Don't rush all three at once, spread them out to trigger your Sheen/ Trinity Force proc as well for closing down targets and escaping after a kill. You can go through walls so you can use it as well to surprise stragglers and initiate through walls and over minion waves in early laning phase.

** Videos coming soon demonstrating harassment and initiation techniques **

Additional Discussion From Posts

I enjoy discussion and alternative views towards things, seeing as I play AD Ahri, Lulu, etc thats a given. Someone brought up a point about my skill sequence being wrong and chatting with other people, they themselves have brought up things like true damage first, mana conservation, the CD of Charm doesn't scale.

So for those who do not want to switch over to discussion to hear my reasoning to why I picked this order, here ya go.
True Damage or Not : Plain and simple, THIS IS MY PLAY STYLE. This isn't me telling you, The only true way of playing this character is my way and this skill sequence is the only way you should pick it because if you don't you're a noob and will fail miserably" .....

Seriously people I just like having a 2 second CC by level 9, I think it helps me and my team out a lot more then 140 true damage. This is a team game, yes individual skill helps but 1 second can mean the difference of a quick kill with a teammate or having to use flash, an ult, or some form of CD to finish the kill, cuz come on ... are you really going to let that kill get away 0.o ...

Next I heard stuff about the CD of Charm not scaling well and mana conservation. Look at Charm, then look at Orb of Deception. Mana wise first three levels charm wins. that is 1-6 which we all know is important time to be mana conscious. Also, just because the CD is longer doesnt mean if it was shorter I'd be throwing out charms left and right. So I can only charm someone a maximum of 5 times per minute .... How many times do you initiate in a minute truly ? ... Don't forget you have a support usually with their own CC and you're also last hitting minions, poking with auto and watching out for ganks. So if you came to argue about the cooldown on Charm in my opinion its lame.

What it comes down to is do you prefer having a true damage range skill early for that type of damage rotation or do you like having a longer CC. My preference is a longer CC. Thats me, not you ... Build her the way you want, this is just to allow you to get a basic idea that it's POSSIBLE.

Summary

HAVE FUN!

....

This is a game after all and even if the champion wasn't designed originally to be played that way it doesn't mean you can't do it. Enjoy yourself and try out new things, things get stale if you do the exact thing over and over again.

I will say please practice new champs, builds, etc in Custom games or AI Co-op before doing PvP unless you're a premade 5 man. I know all of have had the frustrating person going first time this and that and failed feeding someone who snowballed all of us. Keep an eye out for my AD Lulu guide =P. Got some great footage for yall for think its not possible, cuz she's OP.

Hah, thanks for reading if you got this far, and even if you don't try this out I hope it inspires you to try out random things like AD Zyra, AP Shen, AD Katarina, etc ... HAVE FUN!!!
