Champion Build Guide
Optional AD Items
These are all situational. I'll give examples for each
Bloodthirster: You desperately need life steal to survive in lane and team fights, since Kai'sa ults in, any life steal items are a good choice
Mercurial Schimitar: If they have huge CC: Zoe bubble, Veigar cage, Annie Stun, Cassiopeia stun ( any abilities which can stop you mid fight)
Maw: High AP Burst which can instantly kill you: Syndra Ult, Veigar Ult, Teemo Shrooms,
Blade of the Ruined King: When they have champions that build high health: Dr. Mundo, Zac, Garen, Illaoi, Cho Gath. This item is great because it slows and does magic damage as well.
Lord Doms: Great for champions that stack armor: Darius, Garen, Galio, Gragas, Irelia, Leona, Malphite, Mordekaiser, Nautilus, Nasus, mostly top laners

Optional AP items
Lich Bane: the Sheen passive is great since you alternate abilities with auto attacks. This is a great item choice if you're way ahead and want to keep getting kills.
Gunblade: Again, if you're way far ahead and you want to be able to slow your enemies and do burst damage, this item is good.
Morellonomicon: This item is great because it does grevious wounds which inhibits healing. It also has magic penetration if they're building Magic Resist.
