Introduction

Hello,
first i want to thank you for reading my guide, although i'm not a great palyer (S4 atm), this build should work on the elo-levels around silver. I came to the idea of Thresh jungle because his skillset is great for manipulating movement and since i don;t like AP Thresh i decided to try an AD build, which worked fine. That's all i want to say for the introduction and so, let's jump into the build.

Build

You start with a hunter's machete and 4 health pots. At your first back you have to buy a spirit stone and 2 pots. You will need the spirit of the eldar lizard asap, because it will increase you clear speed and damage greatly. After the spirit you grab Berserker's greaves for some attackspeed, BORK for AD and lifesteal (+ the slowing active), Infinity Edge for even more AD, and then it depends on the enemie's teamcomp: If they have mixed AD and AP, grab Maw of Malmortius and Randuin's Omen, if they have only AD, grab Last Whisper or Bloodthirster, if they have much AP, grab Spirit Visage. If your team is has only AD, grab Last Whisper or the Black Cleaver to shred the enemie's armor. You may also consider Guardian Angel.

Runes

I prefer playing with flat AD marks, flat armor seals, scaling MR glyphs and flat AD quints. You can also use scaling or flat health seals, but i like the armor seals more.

Masteries

I use 21/9/0 Masteries, to deal additional damage and have more sustain in the jungle. If you want you can swap to 21/0/9 and grab bonus mana regen, reduced recall-time, reduced cooldown on your summoners spells, increased duration of potions and elixiers and increased buff duration.

Summoner Spells

I like using standart Smite and Flash. But if you want you can also use Exhasut or Ignite for easier kills, Teleport for mappresence, or Ghost for chasing down flieeing enemies. But always take smite to get objective control!

Skillorder

You start with your E for the passive bonus damage, also you can prevent some damage from the first buff by flaying him away, but you have to remember to skill your E before 1:55 because the passive will have to charge up for some secounds. At level 2 you skill your W for the shield, and at level 3 you grab your Q to gank. You max your E out first, for the bonus passive damage, after that you max your W for the shield which will give you some sustain in the jungle. Your Q should be maxed last, because the level of it only increases the damage and decreases the cooldown of it. And of cours you max your ultimate at the levels 6, 11 and 16 to make escaping difficult for the ganked lane.

Route through the jungle

You should start at the ancient golem/Blue buff, because Thresh's mana costs are not the lowest. Then you do the wolf camp and then you go to your red buff. After your red buff you only may be able to to the wraits or gank a lane, since you will sometimes only have very low health after your red buff. After that you will have to go back, then you buy your spirit stone, and if possible a longsword, if you can't afford a longsword, just buy 2 pots and a sight or pink ward. With the spirit stone your sustain in the jungle will be greatly incresed. Then just farm the camps and gank lanes, remember to do the drake if you see the enemy jungler ganking the top lane! You should be able to give the secound blue to your midlaner, if you have your spirit of the eldar lizard till then!

Fighting other junglers

In early levels, you don't have much damage, so you should avoid fighting the enemy jungler in a 1v1, but if one of your lanes is coming to assist you, you should be able to do it, this also means that you shouldn't counterjungle in the early game (before you have your AD Spirit). When you have your Spirit Stone, Berserker's greaves and BORK, you will be able to 1v1 the enemy jungler, but your passive E damage will have to be up for it.

Ganking

If you want to gank a lane, check for wards with the sweeping lens, then wait for a good time to land your hook, pull the enemy laner in, then reactivate your Q to pull yourself in, then immediatly throw out the lantern so your laner can get into attack range. Save your E in case the enemy laner will Flash away. At level 6 use the Box between your Q and your W to ensure a safer kill. With the AD Spirit and the passive E damage you will hurt the enemy laner a lot.

Ending

All right that's it for now. Thank you very much for reading my guide although i'm "just" S4. If you want to check my profile, search for "Coffeebreak99" (Lolking: Click!) at the EUW server (And YES, i am only 14 years old right now! (written 13.09.2014)) But i might change my name soon™, since there's this "Namecange-Sale" at the 25th of October. I hope you enjoyed my guide to AD Thresh in the jungle and that you will be succesfull with it! If you have any questions write them in the comments please.

Thank you again for reading the guide,
