Hello fellow lolers, as the chapter title explains this is my first attempt at a guide.

Please feel free to pick it apart, preferably constructively. For those who don't know what constructive criticism is, please feel free to flame me. I will just ignore your posts and or comment on your inane lack of intelligence.

That said, on to the meat and potatoes.

Lucian is new, like the ink is still hot new. So I am sure there are as many guides for him as there are opinions. So what makes mine different is that I have played Lucian almost exclusively since he was introduced. I have a good feel for him and think this guide will give others some insight to my play style.

He has some great AoE skills, and all around badness as an ADC.

Pretty straight forward.

Marks of Attack Damage increase damage, in turn increasing the life steal from the Quints.

The seals and glyphs are pretty standard. Why fix what isn't broken?

Pretty Standard for the average ADC. Maximize AS, AD and Crit. While getting a bit of HP, Armor and MR out of defense.

The core build focuses on sustainability and damage output.

-Runaan's Hurricane: 70% attack speed.
The minor bolts apply on hit effects, increasing the pool which your life steal can draw from.

70 Attack Damage (100 fully stacked)
12% Life Steal (18% fully stacked)
More Life Steal? Why yes, yes I will.

+45 Movement
+25 Magic Resist
+35% tenacity
Tenacity, saving Champions behinds since... a long time.

Scales well with Ardent Blaze. Let none get away.

The Offensive Choice Items focus on fighting either High Armor champions or High HP champions.
-The armor choices maximize armor pen and reduce the targets armor.
-The HP choices maximize damage output by increasing critical chance and raw AD

The Defensive Choice Items allow tailoring your defense to the champions in your lane, after the laneing phase they are a little less useful.
