Introduction
So this is my very first guide in here, and I bring you my AP Varus build! Yey!
People say it is troll, but it isn't at all, mid-late game he will be a force to recognize, and I love the fact that, until level 6 you somehow look like you "suck", but after you make 3 blights, and ulti, you almost instakill your enemy ^^
So, have fun playing him has AP!

Pros
+ No tank survives 1v1 against you. + Game changing ultimate (OP) + With 400-500 AP each blights deals 15% of enemy hp, OMG! + Surprising when reaches level 6. + Almost no mana dependant, until mid game. + Some may add you to his friends list. |

Cons
- Very squishy until you get Giant's Belt. - The most played ap carries are his counters... - You need to stack to do the full damage. - Very focused in teamfights. - He needs farm and/or kills early game. - People will say you are trolling... |
Greater Mark of Scaling Ability Power - Your AP varus needs AP.
Greater Seal of Scaling Mana Regeneration - Your AP varus will need mana when he arrives mid game, so you should take some of this seals.
Greater Seal of Ability Power - More AP is always welcome.
Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power - More AP = More damage
Greater Quintessence of Ability Power - Super damage, why not?
Here is the build order:
Boots - 3x Health Potion - Needlessly Large Rod - 2X Sight Ward - Giant's Belt - Berserker's Greaves - Enchantment: Furor - Amplifying Tome - Malady - Rabadon's Deathcape - Stinger - Rylai's Crystal Scepter - Nashor's Tooth - Runaan's Hurricane - Elixir of Brilliance - Elixir of Fortitude
It will make your W, that scales with AP, much stronger, making you a very dangerous enemy versustanks in mid-game.
Why also level up E in second place instead of Q? Because, if your enemy has spell vamp/lifesteal, this power just cuts 50%, and also, it is much easier to hit an enemy, making your stacks worthful.
But... If your enemy is a long range champion (examples: AP Kog'Maw; Xerath; Twisted Fate), it is better to you to just level up your Q first, then level up your E, like this:
This will make you able to proc your W more easily, because, whenever you would stack blights, the enemy would just go back, because he likes to be far in range. Just then use your Q and explode the enemy!
