Hi guys, this is my Vladimir guide.

I use magic penetration marks on Vladimir because hybrid penetration are not really worth on him. For most Mages they are, but Vladimirs base AD is too low and he's a lategamer anyway. AP glyphes for some more dmg. I use percentage health seals because with his passive, Vladimir scales hard into the lategame and with those he scales even harder. If you feel unconfortable with these you can use flat armor too, to survive his weak earlygame. Spellvamp quints are used to compensate the healthcost from his "Tides of Blood" so you can play way more aggressive early.

Kind of the standard 21/9/0 AP masteries. I use "Butcher" and "Feast" instead of "Double-Edged Sword" and "Expose Weakness" for even more sustain but you can use these too, but keep in mind that your ultimate doesnt deal dmg on impact so "Expose Weakness" doesnt trigger right after casting it. "Juggernaut" instead of "Hardyness" or "Resistance" because it scales better into the lategame.

Max Transfusion first. Its your poke and sustain. Next max Tides of Blood, its your farming and waveclear tool. The last skill you max is Sanguine Pool. Skill your ultimte as soon as it is avalable ofc. If you feel uncomfortable in your lane or you think you are aboute to getting ganked early you can choose Sanguine Pool on level 2 but usually you its eneugh when you take it level 3.

Always rush Hextech Revolver. Rylais is great on Vladimir because of his passive and with Ionian Boots of Lucidity you can perma slow people what gives you very strong chasing and kiting potential. Buy Mejai's Soulstealer if you dominate hard, but keep in mind that you need the Soulstealer skin to make full use of it.

Buy Seeker's Armguard if you need early armor, Spectre's Cowl if you need magic ressist and Haunting Guise if your enemy builds early magic ressist.

Later you go on a Zhonyas, when you are done with this you can build your Hextech revolver into a Will of the Ancient. In my oppinion you dont need it earlier because the other items are more important.

The last item should be a defensive one. If the enemy team has alot AP damage this should be a Spirit Visage. mYou go for this most the cases because its passive is very strong on Vladimir. If they do mainly AD damage you should buy a Randuins. The fact that you can hit the active while you are in Sanguine Pool can be very usefull. If the enemies damage is balanced i would recomand a Guardian Angle because once you hit that point in the game it is very hard to kill Vladimir with all his sustain and it will be pretty annoying for them if you just life again once the mastered this challange.
