Guys first we need to explain one thing. Wanna play Riven? It's Ok but you must learn a few things.
Without learning you will be usseles in 1000000 matches. You can learn yourself but give 10min daily for Riven and go to the practice tool and learn combos from Youtube :D

Riven's passive is very important. Always try to use skill and then basic. You will deal more damage in shorter time. Try to cancel animation of basic with skills. For example Q->BA->Q->basic->W->BA->Q->BA->E->BA.
Usually you will use this skill to go in or go out and cancel animations. Again, you must learn how to cancel animations BA->Q->BA,
This skill is used to stun or to cancel animation nothing hard.
This skill is used to start most combos. The shield is big very and useful. Just learn combos. Example: E->R->Q->BA->Q->W->BA->2nd R :D
Use this on start of the combo then after the combo use this again to make the biggest damage. When you will cast this skill your Attack range and Attack damage will be increased and 2nd cast`ll make more dmg dependent from opponent missing health

Let's learn a few basic combos

First Combo!Start with basic: E->R->Q->BA->W->BA->Q->R->Q This combo is universal, you can use this always.
Second Combo: R->E->Q->BA->W->Q->BA->R combo for feded Riven
Last combo:E->R->Q->Q->W->Q->R easy combo without BAs
You can find out more combos on Youtube or somewhere just learn them :D YOu will be 10x better at Riven with learning.

Riven's gameplay is depended on matchup. Once you will have an easy matchup and you can go in whenever you want but sometime you need to play safe and farm for example against Aatrox. You can also trade, Riven is perfect champion to trade . You can go in with Q->W-BA->Q and use E to go out. You will deal a lot of damage with this.

Riven build is very simple.
*First item: Black Cleaver will give you CDR, HP and phage passive this is helpful in lanning phase.
*Second item: Death's Dance is the most important item in Riven's build. This item gives you resists, CDR and very big healing from your attacks.
*Third item: Guardian AngelIt is very helpful in Teamfights.
*Fourth item: Sterak's Gage More life more damage, why not?
*Fifth item: Lord Dominik's or Mortal Reminder Last item to complete build.
*Shoes: Mercury's Treads or Ninja Tabi I prefer mercury's but you can but ninjas into sett.
