Maokai
He can easily catch up to you and slow you down, his ability to tank for his ADC is very annoying. When you attempt to play from range in most cases he will W over to you and create space for his ally. Make sure to dodge his moves to shut him down and play more towards the back of the lane.
Caitlyn
She is extremely long ranged and can play with senna well, in both of you kits you have many CC abilities which can allow you to get tons of damage.

Champion Build Guide
When units die near Senna, their souls are periodically trapped by the Black Mist. Senna can attack these souls to free them, absorbing the Mist that held them in death. Mist fuels her Relic Cannon's power with increased Attack Damage, Attack Range, and Critical Strike Chance. Attacks from Senna's Relic Cannon take longer to fire, deal bonus damage, and briefly grant her a portion of her target's Move Speed.
Q Ability - Piercing Darkness
From the twin barrels of her Relic Cannon, Senna fires a unified beam of light and shadow through a target, healing allies and damaging enemies.
W Ability - Last Embrace
Senna sends forth a wave of Black Mist. If it hits an enemy it latches onto them hungrily, rooting them and everything nearby after a brief delay.
E Ability - Curse of the Black Mist
Senna draws the Mist she has stored in her weapon into a storm around her, embracing darkness and becoming a wraith within. Allies who enter the area are camouflaged and also appear as wraiths as the Mist shrouds them. Wraiths gain increased Move Speed, are unselectable, and hide their identities.
R Ability - Dawning Shadow
Senna calls upon the relic stones of fallen Sentinels, splitting her relic cannon into a holy array of shadow and light. She then fires a global beam that shields allies from harm, while damaging enemies caught in the center.

Combos
Q ( Piercing Darkness) > AA > W ( Last Embrace) > AA > R ( Dawning Shadow)
The combo shown above is a high damage combo that can be used when burst is off cooldown, if the W Last Embrace hits then it is a guaranteed R Dawning Shadow on the enemy which will also shield your ADC if they are present and infront of you.
W ( Last Embrace) > AA > Q ( Piercing Darkness) > AA
This combo is extremely good for poke/harass and can deal quite a bit of damage at any level and will also give you one soul to enhance your passive Absolution.
W ( Last Embrace) > Flash > AA > Q ( Piercing Darkness) > AA
This combo is quite hard to pull off and can be used to catch an enemy or when you are out of range, this combo can be sueful for catching somebody running through river of entrying into a fight.
To play Senna to her maxiumum potential in early game you will want to poke the enemy and chip away their health, this is why long range champs work well with her. If an enemy pushes to far out you will need to land a Piercing Darkness on them so they cant escape, she has bad damage early game but can still be effective.
You will want to stay in battle most of the time in order to finish your support item quest early in order to gain the upperhand, Senna as a champion is very versitile due to her healing and damage capabilities, she is best in long range engagements but can play close range nontheless.
When facing close range champs it is best to push them back in to tower where they are weak in order to deal continous poke damage aswell as killing minions, in order to get tower you will need to make enemies feel the need to recall. You can acieve this by dealing lots of damage or pushing with your jungler.
After you take some plates turret you will most likely be in a position where you have good items (for that stage of the game) and have the option to play passively, make sure to let your AD carry take minions as you can use your passive, Absolution to get gold and avoid last hitting often. Be aware of your enemies position when playing passively or else you could be ambushed.
In this stage of the game you will need to move around a lot because the laning phase has ended and the demand for objectives is high. This is where her Curse of the Black Mist can help as it is very versatile, it can be used to escape dangerous situations or to enter certain areas or fights. During this time period major objectives will be very important as they can sway the fate of the game.
Senna's Piercing Darkness will be very helpful during Mid Game as it has great range and can be used in different ways. When your team is on objective you can use Piercing Darkness to heal your team or to poke enemies that are trying to steal the objective. When the enemy has objective this ability is also strong as you can get mass damage when you find a good shot to take.
During Mid Game you should never roam without help unless their is an ongoing team fight, this is because Senna is weak when dueling. Keep wards in river as this will be the most dangerous place on the map during this time.
When nothing happens you should focus on becoming stronger by gaining gold, leveling up and getting more stacks on Absolution.
If you are tremendously down you should mainly be playing defense. Going agressive is too risky in most teamcomps and playing from your base is much more benefitial, Senna can easily poke enemies away either by using Piercing Darkness or Dawning Shadow. One great thing about the ultimate is that it also shields allies while also dealing great damage to enemies over a long distance, this can put your team in the position to make a push after you have successfully poked enemies. In late game whilst you are losing it can be very helpful to take an objective, this can be done by winning a teamfights and quickly taking objective or stealing the objective. Buffs like Dragon Soul, Elder Dragon or Baron Nashor can give an insane advantage and if you get them it could help you win.
When ahead in late game you want to be as agressive as possible, this can be acheived by ambushing enemies, poking them with Piercing Darkness when they are under towers, taking objectives. This is as this will keep the enemies in a situation where they have to stay in tower until they can win a teamfight which is where your R can completly shutdown their plans, your Dawning Shadow Ability helps allies be extremely tanky aswell as dealing heavy damage to enemies, this can help you push or hold an area. Just like when your behind you want to take objectives as well but if your ahead it will be much easier, when you are ahead it is your duty as Senna to heal allies and watch for enemies attempting to steal. If you can land Last Embrace on an enemy it can buy time for your team to take the objective.
Make sure to make the most out of the best abilities in her kit, Last Embrace and Piercing Darkness by poking and harassing enemies which can set them back far in late game.
