Catching Speeders

By Austranada
Early Game
To begin, one must be accustomed to the art of running it down. The only way to catch the dirty speeders is to be one yourself. Once mental purgatory has been reached, you are ready. You must make plays and do things normally reportable in order to succeed, and you must trust that they shall work. Speeders don't deserve to even breathe the same oxygen. And with that out of the way, let's begin the strategies.

Laning against a double ranged bot can sometimes prove to be a tough donut to eat, and peeling supports put you on life support. But early game isn't Voli's strongest point here. Just grab as much cs as possible, while looking for good trades. Leaving your lane frozen at your tower is the perfect position for you to farm easily and the jungler to punish those pesky speeders. Once tiamat is completed look to push the waves and grab plates, the earlier the better. Always be looking for fights either in lane or in jungle to get as much of an early lead as possible, stacking drags to give yourself an extra win condition. Every soul is good for Voli and the ideal comp, so drag pit control is a must.
Mid Game
Once outer tower has fallen, roaming with your team and catching out as many offenders as possible is the whole gameplan. If need be, split pushing depending on game state is also a viable strategy, especially to create holes in the map to exploit vision and objectives. Teamfights can be a bit sketchy, but running at them is the whole point of this. As most of the team is bruisers, fights aren't hard to force if the evildoers are even slightly out of position. Just be wary of teams with good peel, as once cooldowns are blown, if the main targets aren't dead, it can mean the whole fight is lost. Voli's bite does a massive amount of usually unexpected execute damage that can singlehandedly win you a fight if used right, so use that ace up your sleeve ruthlessly. Most speeders disrespect this team in loading screen, so use that cockiness to your advantage. Nothing is more tilting than getting run down.
Siege Mode
Taking towers in a 5v5 is something this team comp can rarely do, so in order to really make any progress is to force fights. targeting dps is the top priority to insure fights go your way. Once they're ticketed and jailed, there's nothing they can do to stop the onslaught of court calls and bad press. All chat is another great form of warfare you can use at your disposal. Making small comments about them being speeders is essential to set the mood of the game. Letting them know they've been bad bad boys can really set them off and make the game that much easier. Obviously it can backfire but **** that they're the lawbreakers
Late Game
If you haven't won by now, you better be damn close. The longer the game gets the worse the comp becomes. Having a bunch of bruisers is great when ahead, but once the game evens out the dps will soon become much harder to ticket and will just kill you. Unless you like challenges. Then go right ahead. Baron helps, but isn't the most important thing on the map. Usually if you can get drag it is the better choice.
