Trundle the Jungle/Lane DPSER man man ***Updated with full Jungle Guide, changed runes around and a slightly different core build***

With this BA guide you will be trollin face and woopin up some snitches in no time. This is my first guide, I just bought Trundle a week ago but I think he is stronger than he gets credit for and I really enjoy playing him. This is the basic way I have built him when I have played so far. EVERYONE UNDERESTIMATES THE TROLL BE GOOD BAIT AND TURN THE OTHER TEAMS GANK INTO YOUR TEAMS ACE I'll be editing this to my liking as I play him more, mainly just wanted to practice making a build on the site. I like to build Trundle as a dps with a few tank items for max survivability. Really the items you buy depend on the situation your team is in and what you are up against. Obviously stack armor or MR depending on who their carry/strong dps is.

Take only if you are jungling. Otherwise I would recommend because you already have amazing chasing down abilities and exhaust would make you impossible to get away from. Personally I <3 but you could take if you like it better.

you want to take whenever it is up, it greatly increases your damage output while lowering your enemies. great for jungling. When you take VS depends on how much ganking you are doing. You want more points in if you are doing quite a bit of ganking or team fighting where you are your teams cc/slow.

So I feel there can be a huge difference in what items you take depending on the other team. If they are mostly AD take instead of and/or instead of . If you get enough money sell for .

If you want an all around tanky build which I am beginning to like more and more as I play him this is what i recommend.



These items I have put in the guide are not the only ones for Trundle. In my opinion though they are the best. Always remember to be checking what the other team is building so that you buy items accordingly. If you have a very strong tank on your team and you need more damage then build more damage items. Remember this is not a tank build it is at best for OT'ing. I would not recommend buying any more defense pieces if your team already has a tank. If you are the MT then your team is probably already screwed but you can buy heavy armor and MR pieces. You can be a pretty strong tank for 6 seconds while your ult is going =).

UPDATED JUNGLE GUIDE

So now that I have played him a lot more and actually have the correct runes this is how I now jungle. Take cloth armor and 5 hp pots and . Kill Golem using smite pop a potion when you first attack. Obviously throughout your clearing of the jungle pop your pots as needed. You will have leveled on Golem take and kill wolves using and [icon-contaminate size=25] when they are up. Head across to wraiths you should be able to handle them fine. Take another level of and take on lizard. Your smite will be coming back up and make sure you take him out first, kill the small lizards after. Head to golems and kill them dinging lvl 4 and take . You are now ready to gank if you have enough HP try and gank top lane if you are very low blue pill to base for hp. I usually buy Madreds claw before boots but it is up to you. Now its your choice on the way back out to gank or head back to wolf camp as they should be up. From then on keep clearing the jungle while lending ganks to laning teammates. Even if you dont get a kill on your gank a good placed will cause them to use summoner spells which helps your teammates a lot and can set up your next gank on them.

I feel that playing Trundle right takes a pretty good amount of teamwork. 99% of the time you wont be coming out of the jungle to drop someone in a lane by yourself. You might force them to use summoner spells but until you have or you shouldn't really be able to stay on someone that well by yourself like say a can. With effective communication and timing though I think is one of the strongest gankers from the jungle. You may not get the kills but you sure can block the enemy off with a good allowing your teammates to roll in.

In teamfights is your best friend. Bait enemies into narrow chokes in the jungle. They will underestimate the range of and you can block 1-2 of them from the rest of their team and finish them off right away for a 5v3 advantage. If the rest of their team dives in 5 or so seconds later its almost always too late and they are just suiciding. Make sure always when possible to PUT PILLAR OF FILTH AGAINST TERRAIN. enemies always try to run to take the shortest route out which is usually up against some piece of terrain. Even if you cant block their whole path you can block where they are trying to exit which will slow them huge and they will have to run toward you now to get around the pillar.
