Threats & Synergies
Tanks all damage while pumping out damage, watch out for his R when you get a slight bit below half health. Priority Ban
Can be difficult to go toe-to-toe with, but if you farm off of him early, you'll win easily.
This is one of the only champions that can fight you early, but that hope is a dim light in a long tunnel. You can still take this guy easily. Just be wary Post 6.
With Kraken Slayer out, this is a huge threat. Watch out for her pokes, try and CS with Tongue Lash. If she roots you to a wall, it's game over in the late game.
Mega Gnar is only issue, when Mega Gnar is up, stay back. But when he's reverted to normal state. Close the distance and pressure.
Fiora is a tank busting champion much like Vayne, but is beatable with your distance. Kite her abilities and be wary of prolonged trades. Devour her and she might be managable.
Barrels are nuisance, Oranges are eaten to sustain trades. Be careful with Gankplank.
Beat her up. It's easy, you can't Devour your spirit when she pulls it, but kite and bait her skillshots. If she's behind, you can bash her skull in with your tongue even when she ults.
Never play with a Tyson
Teemo's can't do anything against you, close distance. Lick em', and win lane.
Cho' Gath's can be good or bad, be careful when trading low level, and at higher levels don't let him reduce your health below his threshold.
During lane phase, beat this masochist into a pulp. Do NOT let her scale up, end game early, or she will snowball the game.
His passive will bleed your fish body dry, this is the defintion of Culinary Degredation, and your E won't be of too much use against Hemorrhage.
Range will eat you alive. All there is to it, be careful of his kit. He will dodge your with his dash tongue lash. He will only ult when you're within critical condition. Your E should help, if he ults while close, punish him by walking behind him.
Malphite stacks armor, you don't care. You're Tahm Kench. His Q will do damage, Thick skin will help.
Easy to beat early, but of course. You must keep him away from XP range from minions. His ult will be an issue in team fights, Devour him and he's useless.
Difficult champion, his ultimate is tough. But you can devour it. His dash's can be a nuisance. So wait for him to use those for tongue lash.
Stay away from bushes, you win.
She just isn't too strong against you, pro plays have seen her getting more picks, so be mindful of a person who is good with her, she is a CC threat, you can build juggernaut against her, but I'd recommend Mercury treads unless it's a hard AD composition.
He will heal a lot, and I mean a lot. You won't kill him likely, just farm.
Estranged champion, do NOT trade with him early, he will gut you with his long axe, and Skaarl will enjoy a fish-fry dinner. This champion falls off later, but be wary of Skaarl's return if you force him to dismount.
You won't likely kill Ornn as he's very tanky, this is another just farm up, boring game.
You'll do some nice damage to him, just don't be foolish and let im hit you fully charged, when he dies he will likely relentlessly chase after you, Tongue Lash and escape.
Pretty strong character to go toe-to-toe with due to his Pit Grit, trades are riskeir against this champion.
Build Mercury Treads, easy to kite his Nightfall and Death's Grasp. You should win pretty easily, when in realm devour him so he can't do damage. (His passive does poke through though.)
Get Tabi's, you win trades from there on.
Not many Wukong's these days, he will kick you up and down his Establishment.
Yone is a threat, that's what a normal man would say. Tahm Kench is no normal man. He eats Yone's, have a feast my friend.
An issue, when he's CSing, he'll poke you simultaneously, he can easily all in you with his ult , (Which stuns tower) so it's all about health conservation for Tahm Kench.
What are you playing Blind Pick? Well, you might just be doing so. If that's the case, I'm sorry. But Another Tahm Kench is just a skill match up. Run this build into a hail of blades River King, then you will win every fight.
Tough to beat, high skill ceiling, Aatrox is mechanically able to 1v1 you at any time, either they will be bad, or they will kick your teeth in. Kite Q to the best of your ability, and walked sidewards when he W's you. *Rush Bramble Vest before Mythic!*
Right now he is just stupid strong, his Q execute will destroy you, his W point and click stun is rough to play against, and most Pantheon's top will run ignite, so fighting is dangerous. But he's only an early threat, don't feed. And you win later. Watch out for his Mortal Will!
A pretty strong pick only because of his Maiden, early he's got dust to throw at you, but try to kite it, and beat him down early. Once his Maiden is up and it scales, you won't eat him alone.
No one in low elo knows how to, much less plays the champion. But his overheat passive will be the only threat to you, and his ult will hold you in place, then he will put your Catfish body through a deep-fat-fry.
As of recent update, Akali is a high skill champion, but not as near as busted as she was. Switch runes to MR (Unless they are a hard AD composition) And build Sunfire, then abyssal mask.
He can block your attacks, this will disable your ability to proc your passive, in the meantime, you can escape its stun range with Tongue Lash, then when his E is over, lick him up and down into fountain.
Play with a Tyson
Champion Build Guide
In laning phase, start Tongue Lash. The amount of poke it does is absolutely insane, not to mention the slow it gives allows you to catch up, deal some damage and activate An Acquired Taste, stun him and continue to slap the hell out of them with your Tongue.
When your opponent retreats to tower, hopefully you'll have An Acquired Taste Up. If you do, devour them, spit them out of its range and continue to slap them.
In Team Fights, you must tank for your team. Stick close to your ADC and Devour them when they are stunned or in immediate danger. If there is only one threat on the enemy team, Devour them for the whole duration you can. It'll Be a 5v4 And most likely a won outcome.
In Late game, if contesting objectives. Use Abyssal Voyage, an amazing ability that allows you to teleport to a location near instantaneously, and with a friend too! Your opponents will be notified of the teleportation, but it is a short time to react, and you and your ADC or jungler can surprise opponents doing objectives or a flank.
