Thumbs downed this one. could use some more thinking. Of course, I will thumbs up if you fix it a little. Some things can be revised.
First off, And the most important thing that confused me, was the Spirit Visage and Thorn mail.
Those are defiantly not core items. those are 2 very situational items depending on who you are against. Why would you get thorn mail verses a AP team? And vise versa.
Another thing id like to mention is the ninja tabi. Yes, it is an optional pair of boots you can choose, but what if you are laning against a AP Champ? Or better yet, what if the team you are against is mostly AP? Thats where you pick up Merc. Treds.
Also, The spawn items are completely wrong, that looks like a start up for an ADC in a easy lane. Darius needs mobility. So boots and 3 health pots are a likely choice. Although, in a lane which requires less mobility, you should start Flash, 1 hp pot, and a ward. And if you are countered, a Cloth armor and 5 health pots are good.
Now, about your "Items that may work" section. Ionian boots are completly uneeded. Darius is a tank. He needs the extra Defence from either ninja tabi or Merc treds.
And because Darius is a tank, Your Masteries should be setup as a 9/21/0 build. Although, I guess it isnt much of a game changer. but it is early game. and top lane is a seriously snow ball lane. Early game is everything.
Now, I like how you still built Darius Tanky, and didnt ignore Defense. Atleast you arent one of those ******s that build a Glass Cannon out of Darius. This Build would be alright in some fun matches and blind. But in high ranked games, It couldnt work. So it could use some improvement. Include some good MR items for darius. MaW for example is good because of the MR obviously. the extra damage. And the amazing shield passive. (Im surprised you didnt include that item)
