My decision behind this build

I know what you are all thinking. Why in the world is this build putting these items on Darius? Where's the tankiness? I'll tell you! This build is a speedy Darius build. The idea is to use Frozen Mallet to slow with every hit, and chase them down with boots. The attack speed and nice amount of AD is for quick kills. I watch around and see hundreds of Darius players cut down, no matter how tanky they are, because they are slow to chase, slow to kill, and slow to escape. It's a waste in my eyes. So I turned him into a hunter.

Introduction

Hey all! My name is Alex, my summoner name is SharinganMess, and I a bronze 1 formally of silver 4. I play ranked daily and bounce around divisions but I have years of experience with the Hand of Noxus. This is my very first guide so I apologize if the page is bland and unexciting. The information I have here is up to date as of today.

Runes

The runes are pretty self-explanatory. AD runes and quints for damage, armor seals and scaling magic resist glyphs for some defensive qualities in those 1v1 engagements.

Masteries

For my masteries I went with your basic 21/9/0 setup that's accustomed to Darius. The usual damage and attack speed bonuses in Offense, as well as CDR for the cooldown times on your Q and E.

Playing the speedy Darius

Unlike the usual Darius where you walk into the middle of your teamfight spinning around becoming the center of attention, you will instead be relying on your tank to start and play the "role" of an adc or mage. Deal mass damage quickly, get kills, carry, chase the squishies and those at low health. You must be asking yourself: How can I top lane with no defenses? Darius will still have natural defenses from his runes and masteries but the goal now is to slaughter the enemy. If you have less than 10 kills by endgame you aren't doing it right.
