Call of the Freljord (PASSIVE)
Nunu & Willump Passive Ability
Introduction

As a laner in Twisted Treeline, that doesn't mean Nunu never goes into the jungle, as he is very effective late game, contrary to 5v5 where he's near useless late game.

LEHGO :D
Pros

Decently fast without items
Very good chaser
Great ganker
Great at neutraling with

Cons
-
Loses effectiveness late game
Mana problems early game
Trouble clearing waves
And that's pretty much it!

Other viable options:

I chose to go a 9/0/21, because I feel that that best fits Nunu. As you can see, the Smite mastery gives you just a little more gold, which is always a plus. The magic penetration will help out your
Ice Blast too!
For the Utility tree, everything helps. The Flash CDR, plus the additional CDR with Presence of the Master! Don't forget increased MP regen and max MP, along with the movement speed! The item's you'll get for Nunu will make him into tank anyways, so I don't see much of a point to put anything in the Defense tree.

This skill makes you into the good neutraler you are. Pretty much eliminates the need for health pots, or even needing to recall, for you can just use this once at max level, and it'll heal you up big time. You should use this whenever it's off cooldown, as it gives you easy gold. One level is enough really, and just max it out when you have nothing else to max out.

This ability is what makes you a great teammate. 65%/15% attack/movement speed bonus for 15 seconds at max level? That's ridiculous. This anytime you're with a teammate, Blood Boil him. When taking down towers, Blood Boil. When chasing, Blood Boil. Oh yeah, and when you give the buff to someone else, you too get the buff. It's great for running away and helping a teammate run away too.

Most commonly referred to as "snowball", this is your harassing spell. Once you get it at level 2, don't stop harassing the living daylights out of your opponents. It got nerfed a little, but a 4 second slow is nothing to sneeze at. If lane-ing against a squish opponent like

This ult is probably one of the most powerful ults in the game when it comes to pure damage. It has the max AP-ratio at 2.5:1, and in a team fight, you can easily score aces with this baby. The catch is that it's a channeling spell, so if you get stunned/silenced when charging, the spell will immediately stop. A must use in team fights, especially if your opponents are at half hp or less. The thing is, with this ult, your enemies can see the radius of it, so it can flash out of it.
*TIP* You can hide in brush and use your ult, then your enemies will get slowed within the radius but not see the circle! GENIUS!!!
-I always start off with a Sapphire Crystal as I find the extra mana really helps when I'm spamming Consume and throwing them snowballs at your lane-ing opponent. I opt for a health pot as well as a mana pot because of the relatively low starting mana and the fact that I'm Consuming and Ice Blasting right when it gets off cooldown.
Core Items:
Mercury's I feel is a must. Quick MR and Tenacity is perfect for Nunu. 'Nuff said.
Banshee's is also a must. If you don't get this, you're a complete goober. Seriously, the added HP, MP, and MR is such a boost. PLUS the passive is super helpful and will help you farm with much more confidence knowing that the opponent can't do **** to you.
I always get this with Nunu, and how can you not? You need to get this immediately after Banshee's, because of its passive, the increasing stats as time goes on. You can actually afford to get this before Banshee's if the other team isn't pressuring you too badly, and you farmed enough. The HP/MP boost is always welcome, plus it's your first considerable AP increase, which will definitely help with your E ability,
Ice Blast.
Situational:
Now here is where you can be creative, for a lot of items work well with Nunu.
I usually take this next. It gives a good amount of AP, and a lot of HP. Plus the added slow always helps.
I take this last, or sometimes right after RoA if I need that armor. Big armor/MP boost, and CDR. Great! Makes you even more tanky, and allows you to spam that
Blood Boil and powerful ult Abo****e Zero more!
The rest is really personal preference.
Lich Bane can work really well, as the AP, MP, MR, and MS will all help Nunu. If you need to go pure tank, take a
Warmog's Armor or a
Sunfire Aegis (Sunfire if you want to be a **** hahaha). I would even go as far to say to get a
Rabadon's Deathcap if your team is winning and you want that insane AP boost to make your ult to massive work.

So that's it! I really hope I did okay and I can help people out on who I think is one of the best champs in the game. Just remember the following things when going Nunu:
Ice Blast. If you use this enough, you can gain a heavy leveling advantage because your opponents will try to avoid your snowball of death.
HELP YOUR TEAMMATES. Use
Blood Boil to get them out of sticky situations, or to push for that tower a little quicker.
Enjoy, future Yeti riders! :D
