Introduction
Radagastical here for a brief guide on Fiddlesticks support!
He is great for the anti-support: i.e not giving a sh** about the adc, just making sure you kill the enemies in front of you... and sometimes giving them the kill.
Azir is another one of these anti-supports.
First guide ever, so don't haze or whatever.
For runes, I built magic resist, AP, HP, HP regen, and mana.
These are all very helpful while laneing, to give an extra boost to your AP and personal safety.
This will force your enemies out of your lane, pick up a few kills, take the tower, and roam.
I'm not the best with runes however, so don't 110% trust me on this one.

Maxing as much as you can in utility while picking up a few points in def and att is beneficial to Fidds' gameplay.
This will help you to metamorphosis from a jungler to a AP support, as long as you know what to do.
People never get phasewalker, but I think that it's friggen awesome! Less recall time? That means easier escapes, and less time with your enemies taking cs and tower health. But who knows? I'm a n00ba$$ feeder.

May have taken this sequence from another guide, but it is a pretty standard AP support guide. It'll give you a lot of AP, and the gold/xp that you'll be lacking from all the poking that you have to do. Variants work for this build, if you guys know of any, but this'll get you going on the hype train to victory.
The only thing that you have to know is to MAX YOUR E. It did get nerfed pretty hard in 5.1 but so did everyone else. Your E silences, whoever it hits, then bounces around them like 100 friggen times, and secures engages or kills from a safe distance. Your q and w make a good combo to stop an advancing support or adc. Your ult is best late game when there's a lot of targets to be affected, but can be successful if you get the enemy team from behind.
Passive - Lowers enemy MR by 25% (?) in a wide area.
Q - Fears an enemy for a short period of time.
W - Drains life out of any living creature for a long time, granting you a portion of it back. (Great for tanking dragon)
E - Sends a crow bouncing around enemies who are close to each other, silencing them on hits.
R - Channels for a brief moment, then teleports a short distance and razes the ground with high damage dealing crows in a ring around him.
