Darius
The complete counter to Fiora in my opinion. His bullying is insane. Remember to start out with armor against him. Try not to engage if possible and request ganks against Darius. Fiora cannot go against a Darius ALONE 90% of the time.
Introduction
Hey guys,
My name is Tristan, and thanks for taking your time to read this short guide on Fiora. This is my first guide for any League of Legends champion. (so excited!) I am decently experienced with Fiora; played 250+ games with her with a current 67% win rate. It might not seem like much, but I'll do my best to explain Fiora for newer summoners.
By the win, PLEASE take time to read the notes on the runes, match-ups, and items: they are very vital to this guide.
The two spells I mainly run with Fiora are Ignite and Flash. I find these the two most useful Summoner Spells for Fiora. Ignite is a great spell
for getting First Blood and securing early kills to get yourslef ahead. Flash is my second choice because you can escape tricky situations better, especially because Fiora has no built-in escape in her kit.
Fiora Guide
Duelist
Duelist is Fiora's passive ability. Every 6 seconds, Fiora will regen 7 (+1 per level) health points each 6 seconds every time she deals physical damage. This is useful in one vs one showdowns: you can keep damaging your opponents with your auto-attack, your ult, your Q, etc. And through your passive, you gain back health. Isn't that useful?
Lunge
Lunge is your way to get close in for kills and sometimes a means of escape. It will deal damage on impact and will give one stack on Duelist. Use this ability to escape enemies and to close in on enemies for kills.
Riposte
Passively, Riposte will increas Fiora's Attack Damage by 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35. It will also parry the next auto-attack and deal back 60 / 110 / 160 / 210 / 260 (+100% of ability power) magic damage back to the attacker. So when someone is trying to one-hit kill you early on, use Riposte to save your life and gain some health back yourself.
Burst of Speed
With Burst of Speed you gain drugged with ATK Speed. For 3 seconds, Fiora gains 60 / 75 / 90 / 105 / 120 % additional Attack Speed. Meanwhile, for every hit or Lunge that you land, Fiora's ATK Speed increases even more. If you kill a champion while Burst of Speed is in play, its cooldown is refreshed; assists half its cooldown. So activate Burst of Speed to help clear lanes faster, and to destroy turrets fast, etc.
Blade Waltz
Blade Waltz is your ult: you dash around the field 5 times when Blade Waltz is activated, dealing damage to opponents on that field. This ult is really good for finishing off opponents who are trying to run away from Fiora's grasp. Blade Waltz is also a good ult for
team-fights, having the ability to turn the tide in battles or 1 v 1 skirmishes. Just be careful when you ult: activating Blade Waltz, as opponents can lead you right toward an enemy turret during your ult, and the tide could be turned on YOU.
The image above shows the "zones" of the solo top lane. Remember this image in-game to be aware and safe while farming and laning.
Green Zone: This is the safest zone in top lane. You cannot really get ganked on in the green zone, as it is near your turret. This zone is the best zone to farm in.
Orange Zone: This is the neutral zone of the top lane. Both you and your opponent can be ganked on by your team's jungler or the opponent jungler. Be aware and farm with caution.
Red Zone: This is the red zone of the top lane, and typically the zone you have to be cautious of the most. If you are often in the red zone (the zone near your opponents' turret), it probably means you are winning your lane. However, you can easily be ganked on by opponent junglers so be extra cautious and set wards.
A. Jhoijhoi
Without Jhoijhoi, I would not have been able to make my first guide. Her guide about making guides is VERY helpful, so check it out if you want to make your own guide:
Making A Guide
B. Bezerk
Bezerk currently has one of the top Fiora guides on Mobafire. Not that I am jealous, but he also gave me some thoughts on how to phrase my lines in this short guide. If you want to check out his guide, check it out here: Double-Edged Sword
Thank you to you guys for reading it! I hope to make a new guide once/twice a month. Until then, see you later and good luck on the rift!
