Twitch is a hyper-carry late game ADC that focuses on clash and ambushing enemies. With his he can easily sneak up on enemies and with a good support, he can execute with his . Twitch is best with an offensive support like Leona, Taric, Alistar, and Braum or with an enchanter support like Lulu and Nami. However, Twitch requires farming from early to mid game in order for him to be a hyper-carry in late game. Certain ADCs like Caitlyn or Miss Fortune(especially with Dark Harvest) will give Twitch a hard early game and totally out farm him.
Passive: Deadly Venom
Deadly Venom: Twitch's basic attacks infect the target, dealing 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 true damage every second for 6 seconds, stacking up to 6 times. The amount is increased every 4 levels.
Twitch's passive is what his kit relies on especially his E . Although it doesnt do much damage in early game, it helps execute enemies easily.
Q:Ambush
Ambush: Range: 20
Cooldown: 16 Cost: 40
After 1.5 seconds, Twitch becomes camouflaged for 10 / 11 / 12 / 13 / 14 seconds. While stealthed, Twitch gains 10% movement speed. If Twitch attacks a unit while Stealthed, he gains 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 / 50 % attack speed for 5 seconds.
Ambush's cooldown is reset when an enemy champion affected by Deadly Venom dies.
If Twitch takes damage while casting Ambush, the stealth activation is delayed to 4.5 seconds.
Twitch gains 30% movement speed when near an enemy that can't see him
Ambush really helps Twitch all throughout the game for surprise kills, clash, and backing away from enemies. This is the only skill that makes Twitch mobile.
W:Venom Cask
Venom Cask: Range: 1200
Cooldown: 13 / 12 / 11 / 10 / 9 Cost: 70
Twitch hurls a cask of venom that explodes in an area, adding 1 stack of Deadly Venom, leaving a cloud of toxic gas that slows by 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 / 45 % and adds a stack of Deadly Venom every second to enemies inside it.
The cloud lasts 3 seconds.
This ability helps Twitch slow down enemies he hunts and is useful in clash to easily stack up to the 6th Deadly Venom and immediately use his Contaminate
E:Contaminate
Contaminate: Range: 1200
Cooldown: 12 / 11 / 10 / 9 / 8 Cost: 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90
Deals 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60 physical damage to enemies infected with Deadly Venom. Expunge deals an additional 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 (+20% of ability power) (+0.35 per bonus attack damage) physical damage per stack of Deadly Venom on them.
This ability simply enables Twitch to execute enemies or even use this to chunk a piece of their health before engaging into a clash.
R: Spray and Pray
Range: 850
Cooldown: 120 / 110 / 100 Cost: 100
For 5 seconds, Twitch gains 300 attack range, 20 / 30 / 40 bonus attack damage and his basic attacks become piercing bolts that deal 20% less damage to subsequent targets, down to a minimum of 40% damage.
This ability is what makes Twitch a very strong late-game ADC. This gives Twitch additional range, damage, and an AOE auto attack. Thisspray and pray size 20 paired with Runaan's Hurricane can swiftly kill the entire enemy team as long as Twitch is in a safe position.
Primary Tree
Precision
I'd use Lethal Tempo cuz Twitch needs that burst of attack speed in early game for faster kills.
I'd use Press the Attack or Fleet Footwork if my support has a hard cc like Morgana, Blitzcrank, Nautilus, or Leona
Id only use this for a mid-lane Twitch
I chose Overheal since my Twitch build includes a Blade of the Ruined King and Bloodthirster but choosing Triumph is also viable.
You could use this if the enemy ADC and support is easy to kill.
Legend: Alacrity is what I think is best for ADCs simply for its attack speed bonus.
You could also use this if the enemy team has a lot of stuns and slows.
You can trade this in instead of Legend: Alacrity if you think you will lack sustain with your enemies and will continue a lifesteal build.
This is good on Twitch as he can have a sure kill with his Contaminate
I would only use this if the enemy team has 3 or more tanks
Secondary Tree
Domination
You could choose between Sorcery and Domination depending on your play style. Domination runes are typically Ambush focused with a combo of + + AA +
This wouldnt be a bad rune to pick, its just not the best out of the three
Taste of Blood is a good choice especially if you have Overheal
As I said earlier, domination is an Ambush reliant runes. Although you would rely on Ambush heavily, your skill order is still > > > . The 7 lethality you get is still pretty neat considering you kill the enemy target and reuse Ambush again.
This is also a viable rune for Twitch and is good paired with Overheal
Kinda bit useless since Twitch's only active item would be and let the support do most warding
Paired with Celerity and Ambush, Twitch would be hunting every enemy.
This is the third rune in this set that i would use since Spray and Pray's cooldown is up to 100 seconds and Twitch is pretty reliant on his ult.
Sorcery
This is a good rune for Twitch to help him in early game as his kit has no cooldown 5 seconds or below. Although its pretty good for Twitch's early game, it would be pretty useless in late game since Twitch is expected to have a kill or assist in clash which resets Ambush's cooldown.
This rune would be good especially if your support can buff you with movement speed like Karma, Nami, and Lulu
The 8-18 bonus attack damage from this rune is good to have especially with a heal support like Soraka and Nami.
This rune is not that bad for Twitch but also not that good.
This would be good if your mid is gank reliant and your jungler is either dc or focusing his gank on top ONLY.
This is the best rune among its set because it gives high bonus ad for twich in late game.
Inspiration
Id recommend beginner Twitch users for this as secondary cuz its easier to be on schedule with this sub-runes.
Not recommended for Twitch as he can use Ambush instead.
This is good for Twitch as he can use the 300 gold for the Dagger instead and focus on building
Not really useful for Twitch except when the enemy bot lane can sure-kill you.
These runes are what I've been using since I played Twitch. You can use any rune you want as long as you're comfortable with it and it goes with your playstyle.
Starting Items
Usually used if your lane is more squishy or equal to Twitch like Jinx. It would work playing against a Caitlyn or Miss Fortune if the player is stupid but otherwise I wouldnt risk it.
I'd only use it against Twitch counters like Caitlyn, Miss Fortune, Draven, or Lucian as their poke capabilities can zone Twitch out into defending.
Early to Mid game
In this stage of the game, Twitch is supposed to be focusing on farming and getting his core items immediately such as Blade of the Ruined King, Berserker's Greaves, and Runaan's Hurricane.
On your first back around 6 minutes, you would take a Recurve Bow, a Refillable Potion, and a Boots that would cost to 1450 gold.
At 10 minutes you should be able to buy a Berserker's Greaves already and you can rush push your lane again for your Blade of the Ruined King
Note: its okay to be a little behind on this schedule for about a minute or so but as I noticed, Twitch can have a little bit of hard time to farm if he is behind by one or two items compared to the enemy ADC.
After getting your
, you could try to gank mid and assist or kill then go back to bot to farm again. This should be done before 15 minutes. If you still haven't pushed the bot turret, you should before 14 minutes as the turret plating bounty is pretty neat.
Before the mid game - late game transition, you should have your core items already as this is when you'll start to go with your team for clash.

Late Game
As Twitch enters late game with his core items( ), he should already be able to kill an enemy by himself(even if he uses everything like heal, flash, or/and ult)
Note: this is around 20-23 minutes.This is also the time Twitch has his Infinity Edge
As the game goes around 30-35 minutes he should be building his last item like Bloodthirster, Black Cleaver or Mercurial Scimitar.He should also be sticking to his team as he is pretty much 45-55% of their physical damage.
