New GP came out so immma guide u guys. :P

Its important to take 2nd Q at lvl 3, to maximize your gold income.

(Passive) Trial by Fire:
This passive applies turrets aswell, and helps you chase/escape from enemies, stacks nicely with phage, due to bonus movement speed.
You can place your barrels and destroy them over and repeat while pushing enemy turrets, objectives such as dragon, baron.


(Q) Parrrley:
Try to last hit every minion with this spell and get 2 points in this spell at third lvl.
Stacks nicely with sheen and crit items.
Combo: AA --> Q
You can use parrrley to destroy your barrel it will give you stacks and extra gold.

(W) Remove Scurvy
Try to get your hp as low as possible then use it, because it procs with your missing health. You can cover your allies to prevent caughts ( morgana's Q).

(E)Powder Keg:
Barrel combo notes: IMPORTANT remeber the dmg of the barrels doesnt stack
Its good for tower diving, if enemies dive you, just place the barrels under tower b4 enemy gank and enjoy.
Due to high range of placing barrels u can use them to cut the escape routes or zone enemies from farm such as nasus.

(R)Cannon Barrage:
You should upgrade your ultimate in following order:
Death's Daughter --> Fire at Will --> Raise Morale

Its important to pay ur attention on the bot lane, after 6 lvl and help them by chasing/escaping from enemies.
It also applies to every lane.

In teamfights you should separate enemy carries from front line by using ur ultimate in tight roads.
You can peel for your allies by placing your barrels in the backline before teamfight happens, and taking on your chest skillshots such as hooks, cages etc. and then use ur Remove Scurvy.

I dont believe there are such thing as counters or atleast in most of the cases it doesnt exist, all you do is pick a champ to fit well in team comp.
You as GP play against riven, ofcourse u cant kill her but you can do your objective which is to get 500 silver serpents and ult on bot, stay under tower, drink pots, and get your goal.
I think GP is pretty good champ to consider after that rework, he is a great team player, due to his global ultimate, his passive to take out fast objectives such as dragon, nashor, turrets.
