So, so easy. Your counter strike blocks nearly all his damage. You can stun him out of his meditate, and you win duels throughout the entire game!! You counter Yi hard.
While Graves is Auto Attack based, he does deal plenty of damage. I would avoid fights early, but you win mid and late game. There is not too much to worry about. Just farm and outscale.
Poor kindred. She is almost all Auto Attack based so you block all of her damage. She is very squishy so you should have no problems killing her at all stages of the game. Your burst should be enough to kill her after her ultimate goes off. Make sure to clear the camps that she has marked to prevent her from getting stacks!
You will sometimes see Camille in the jungle but it is nothing to worry about. When she engages, she will deal a lot of damage but then her damage falls off. Engage in long fights to win and you should win every duel once you get red smite.
Difficult to kill and has better ganks than you do. Make sure you ward his camps so you can warn your teammates of his ganks! It is pretty useless to fight him because he is tanky and has escapes.
Since he is auto attack based, you can counterstrike nearly all his damage. You should be able to win most fights after the early game. He scales very hard so take late game fights with caution, but otherwise you should be able to duel him
Super annoying. She is tanky, deals lots of damage, and ganks really well. It can be hard to fight her at any stage of the game. Try your best to counter gank but above all focus on your farm until the team fight phase when you can take her down as a team. Don't feed her for your own sake
Another AA based jungler. You can win trades with her at nearly any stage. You should be able to out gank her as she has no dashes except for her ult. Fight her if she is in your jungle. Farm like crazy and you should win!
He can be hard to take down, and he will try to take your camps. ask your team to ward your buffs so you can get an idea of where he is. If you see him taking your buff, go after his. Vision is key in this matchup. Don't let him get ahead and you will win team fights
He has a lot of burst but lacks damage after that. Plus he is squishy too. You win duels post 6 unless he gets fed. If you get fed, you can almost 1-shot him!
Champion Build Guide
Self explanatory for jungle. Absolutely necessary.
You're probably wondering why I don't take flash. Ghost is extremely strong when you want to stick to opponents. You are virtually un-kitable in team-fights. Best of all, the cooldown is nearly half that of Flash at 180 seconds (3 minutes).
You should rush this item first in almost every situation. The attack speed really helps your clear speed, and Jax scales very well with attack speed due to the passive on Grandmaster's Might.
This is a fairly standard item that you build second in most games. Jax can make use of all the stats, and the sheen proc helps burst down squishy targets. This item is great because the components are strong in their own right. I usually build Phage] -> Stinger -> Sheen. Phage is good for the health and speed, and stinger is good for the additional attack speed which means better clear speed. I usually build sheen last since building mana isn't that strong.
Rageblade is best against tanks due to the penetration stats, and because it takes time to stack up. This item is better than trinity force in extended fights. If you buy this, don't buy Trinity Force or else you will go above the attack speed cap, thereby wasting gold efficiency. Build this against Mordekaiser, Red form Kayn, and other tanks.
In this elo, your opponent's laners aren't good and often overextend. It is very important that you look at your minimap and ask your allies if your opponents have their summoner spells. Make sure to gank! Ganking boosts team morale because you are helping, and more effectively, your enemies will lose their minds if you spam gank (which is great). If you kill your opponent's a few times, they might just give up.
To reiterate, gank when you can. If you get ahead, counter jungle to push your lead but be careful not to die. The good thing is that Jax scales very well so even if you don't get too far ahead, just say "we scale" to your team.
First: identify a priority target.
Generally, the enemy has one fed member and if you can kill that person you should be able to win the fight. If you catch the high priority target out of position (aka they facecheck a bush you are in) GO ALL IN! If the high priority target is playing safe, let one of your allies initiate the fight, THEN go in for the kill. Jax is mediocre as an engager.
Second: kill the rest of the enemies based on who has the most damage. Let's play through an example. They have a fed Syndra. You engage and kill Syndra quickly. What do you do next? Most likely you should jump and kill their ADC because usually ADC's have high damage. Then that's it- you and your team will overwhelm the enemy especially without their strongest member that you killed. NICE.
Finally: be decisive after a fight. Communicate with your team what you want to do after a win. If you are near baron, ping and type "baron" to your team. if you are close to the enemy base, destroy an inhibitor! Communicate and lead your team to victory.
For this reason, always try to keep at least one Warding Totem available.
Try this out in practice tool a couple times - ward hop over walls. Make sure you can hop in and out of the dragon and baron pit. Ward hoping feels good once you get it down.
Note: a common abbreviation of Autoattack is (AA)
AA cancelling is the act of using an ability immediately after the damage from an auto attack goes through. I will attach a gif shortly.
As Jax, use your Empower right after you auto attack so you basically hit twice at one time. For the most damage possible, DO NOT activate your Empower before you use Leap Strike. This is because hitting an enemy with Leap Strike will consume your Empower. Instead, use Leap Strike, then immediately use Empower and auto attack after. This way you are adding more damage by using an auto attack reset.
Keep a control ward in your inventory so you can ward hop with it!
Don't forget you can reactivate Counter Strike early to stun sooner!
Speaking of which, if you stun the rift scuttler it reduces it's armour and magic resist from 60 -> 30! So stun it first then attack it to kill it faster.
