Leona is, despite her low damage, an good jungler/ganker and can easily secure a kill with a E+Q combo, and even your ult if there are, for example, 2-3 champs hidden in a small bush or just to stun from far. Is awesome in teamfights, can cc a dangerous bruiser, destroy the enemy ADC/Mid with E+Q+R combo without receiving too much damage because you are sooooo tanky+W.

She es similar to Sejuani.

Pros

* Tons of CC, and even more after level 6
* Is naturally tanky, mainly with his W, with some masteries and runes she is very tanky without items.
* Will dissapoint your enemies
* Teamfight goddess

Cons

* Countered by popular junglers ( Xin Zhao, Vi, Lee Sin, Nocturne)
* Slow jungle clear times
* Can't counterjungle
* Has low damage output
* Too sexy even with armor.

You of course need Smite to jungle, you aren't Warwick nor Shaco to ignore this.

You can choose between Ghost and Flash, i tried both and, actually i like both of them. Flash is useful for walls jump, flash away on dives or if you need to get, atleast a bit, away from a place ASAP.

Ghost is OP for ganking and catching, catching ADCs in teamfights, because you will barely feel the inmense amount of slows that the other 4 guys can cast on you.

I suggest to try both, and choose what do you think is better.

MS Quints
AD Reds (Optional)
Armor Yellows (A must)
MR/Lvl Blues
or
Flat MR Blues

Pretty much the AD jungler standard. MS quints and armor yellows are a must for almost every jungler, you can use flat MR or scaling MR blues. I find AD reds better for Leona, but isn't a must, you can use these ArP or AS reds that you have :P.

You can Max "E" aswell, for better damage while ganking, you may suffer a bit more in the jungle but E damage is greater than W, so is very viable.

Optional Items:

Frozen Mallet:



Frozen Mallet is the perfect item for damaging if you're an utility tank, and guess what, it gives you even more CC, oh yes even more CC. I'll tell you a trick with Frozen Mallet:
- If you find a squeeshy guy pushing alone (hey, it's Teemo) or farming in your jungle. Wazzup, charge with E and land an autoattack, and if you want stun him again, it will be a nightmare, because he will be eternally CC'd while anyone in your team can come to kill him with ease.
- You can catch an adc out of position and permaCC him meanwhile you can spend your skills on a dangerous bruiser or mid.

Wit's End



Great item aswell, you can get this instead of Spirit Visage if there's no huge AP burst but you still want some MR, also gives you cool attack speed and magic damage on autoattacks, so is a great item on tanks, such as Shen

Randuin's Omen



This one is OP against champions with high Attack Speed, such as any ADC, Master Yi, Aatrox, Gangplank, Fiora, Jax or Tryndamere.
Also gives you an awesome AoE Slow and awesome stats, you can take it ANYTIME instead of Sunfire Cape

Warmog's Armor



You can't say too much about Warmog's Armor, 1,000 health, health regen. Combined with spirit visage is just op. Take it if your enemy has hybrid damage (Such as Yorick, Nasus or Kennen), or instead of Guardian Angel as last item.

Banshee's Veil



Is indeed, a great item for Leona, has Health, and MR and a great passive. I recommend Banshee's Veil instead of Spirit Visage if the enemy team has heavy pushers such as Nidalee or Twisted Fate, is also a must against Blitzcrank or Thresh.
Get it againt Teemo, to avoid the annoying Noxious Trap.

Teamwork is the key of any jungler in the world. Your team need to know how to be ganked, and mainly don't push very hard, unless is a hard zoner/counter champion. Your laner must start the skirmish, is better when your laner uses a CC to ease your job catching with your E, after landing your E, cast your W (it will explode when Q effect almost ends), and your Q and everything is done, with all this CC, the enemy is, or atleast almost, owned. Remember to give the kill to the laner unless he can't kill or he is about to die.

You may want to gank BOT or MID, with more frequency, strong top lane champions (Such as Nasus, Garen, Darius) can even kill you without many troubles in early game.

Remember if your enemy flash'd, ghost'd or ult'd, consider it a successful gank, because your laner can kill him while the enemy is with CDs
