Threats & Synergies
This match up is easy taking Resolve secondary.
Jayce is a problem for this teemo build because of his burst and how he can out range you. Play it safe against this match up.
Blind her if shes looking to be going all in, you will 100% win this match up. Timing your blind is key for this match up.
Farm lane, he will out heal you early and possibly out damage you until you buy witsend. Make sure to dodge his knockups.
NEVER USE Q JUST TO POKE HIM. If the Kled player knows what he is doing this will be a very tough match up. If the player doesn't know the champion well. This is a very easy match up. *good kleds will all in you every time, dash, hook(1), auto, pull(2) auto dash auto ignite. if you are below 80% health that alone will always kill you.
Take resolve secondary and this becomes quite an easy lane. blind him after his combo so his autos will miss and the trade becomes even. once you proc conqueror you will out heal him and out damage him.
play away from the bush and blind after he jumps.
Self-explanatory, don't get hit by his abilities.
Dodge her w and e and this lane is easy once you get witsend. She out ranges Teemo which is why I put her as a major counter.
A lot of people will argue that Nasus is easy to play against as a Teemo, that is false. Any Nasus that takes ghost will 100% destroy Teemo in lane. Wither is too strong of an ability. *This is the champion I 100% of the time ban when playing top.
This can be a bad match up for Teemo but overall there isn't that many good darius' for this to be a problem. Biggest issue is when darius takes phase rush and ghost, but when that happens have your jungler hard camp him and game is ggez
Don't get pulled, stay behind minions and avoid her Qs
This build destroys all Rivens. But that only happens if you focus on farming and if she engages on you, you can fight back and you will always come out on top
Very difficult with this build
Another champion I tend to ban when playing Teemo. Timing your Qs correctly is going to be key to winning this match up. *Q after he starts his purge, and do not Q if he isn't in range of hitting you.
Farm lane and don't get pulled. After witsend, you will stomp on him even if he has his ultimate going.
Easy as long as he misses his E. You can freely fight this champion with little to no consequence. Make sure to ward for ganks. If he can land E and walls on you, this is going to be a bad match up. Witends will make you stomp on him.
Q right when he stuns you then run away with W (if he backs off at all, turn and auto him) Very easy match up.
Watch out for his prepared knock up dashed. This is done when Xin uses his Q on minions 2 times right before dashing to you, it will guarantee him to knock you up instantly then applying 2 autos before he uses his w to out harass you. If Xin takes phase us this goes from even to extreme in terms of match up as he will have no consequence in harassing you.
Farm lane, harass during his mega gnar. Avoid his stuns and you will win pretty easily.
Farm lane. Do not even try to poke him, you will lose if the Kennen has a brain on how to play him.
Very easy match up.
Keep a safe distance and take resolve secondary. NO MATTER WHAT DODGE HIS TORNADOES!
Q him before he stuns. He will glow a little showing that he has his stun activated. Also, although his stun is a auto reset, its not instant like Jax's or Xin's, so basically right after he dashes, you can blind him making him miss his stun.
Just farm for witsend. You will win trades once you have that.
Champion Build Guide
So anyhow, I am a Teemo main and with that said, this build is great for low elo(iron4-plat1), but less reliable in high elo (diamond 4+). This is because people actually know how to ward, gank, control map and roam while Teemo does not excel in those fields.
Winning as Teemo doesn't mean you have to kill the enemy in lane, simply pushing them out of lane is a win. So what does that mean, it means that as long as the enemy is not in lane farming and getting experience then you're getting ahead. After several months of playing Teemo I noticed that Teemo is only useful when he is ahead or when it is late game. After several years, I have an amazing understanding of how he works and what really counters him. That being said lets dive in.
So as a Teemo player, YOU HAVE TO ACCEPT THE FACT THAT YOU WILL BE CAMPED!
The main reason why Teemo is not picked the higher you climb is because people start to know how to jungle. Junglers will know what they're doing.
People will argue, "but no, junglers should camp bot" that is false.
Most ganks happen top and mid now. Simply because no matter how badly bot lane feeds, if the jungler has gotten their mid and top laners fed, then they(top/mid) can roam or keep pushing (top laners) getting more objectives and putting pressure on the map.
And as a Teemo player you have to keen in on that.
Taking Ravenous hunter provide you great sustain, a little less tanky early but a lot stronger late game than the resolve tree secondary build. Reason being you, if the enemy does not cc you for 5 secs, you will out heal all damage and easily 1v3. And because most of your items are AD, you will receive the bonuses of adaptive force adding to AD rather than AP, as you are not required to build much ap because all the bonuses from the on hit effects are mostly ap including the passive from Teemo's E.
Well why is this important? Because no matter what the enemy builds, you are shredding through it. If the enemy builds armor, they will die to your magic on-hits, if they build magic resist they will die to your ad auto attacks. while mages and assassins can pose a threat to Teemo, this build will usually prove to be tanky for them to one shot, and in turn you can melt them down pretty easily while healing it all back.
One of Teemo's main objectives is to place mushrooms throughout the map, be sure to place them in choke points around the map. River entrances, Baron entrance and brushes, and bacially any area that has a lot of traffic. Now the question arising is probably, "but you don't have ap, how are you going to do damage?" That is, you don't have to rely so much on the damage from the mushrooms, but the utility provided by them. Free vision, slows, and just annoyances that tilt the enemy team. This includes you yourself and utilizing your passive stealth, and gunning their carries down with 2.5 attack speed. So you can say that although you will not have 800 ap and your mushroom being nukes, if you engage in teamfights, you will 90% of the time provide more damage output than your carries.
Again I thank you guys for reading and stopping by.
