Why would I play Sona over any other support?
Sona have a lot of possibilities and ways to play her, She can offers great heals and shields as much as she can do damage. Her spells can be used for herself and her allies. Which can be an advantage as most support can’t really use all their spells on themselves.

Passive 1: gain 35% of the premitigation damage dealt to champions as blood charges,these charges are used to up the healing and shielding you do.
Passive 2: Grants 5 ap for every +25% mana regen


Active: grants a shield to yourself and nearby allied champion for 2 sec.


Passive: grants a spell shield that blocks the next enemy ability. Only refresh after taking no damage for 40 sec.


Passive 1: Gain 25% base health regen for every +25% base mana regen.
Passive 2: 20% bonus healing and shielding power.
Active:Removes stuns, roots, taunt, fears, silences and slow on an allied champion and grants slow immunity for 2 sec. Successfully cleansing an effect will also grant the target 40% movement speed for 2 sec.


Passive: taking magic damage reduce all subsequent magic damage from that spell or effect by 20% for 4 seconds.Multiple sources of magic can have this effects active at any one time and the duration is tracked separately per source.


Passive: Increase all healing, regen and drain effects on yourself by 30%
Armor Items


Passive: If 3 or more enemy are nearby you gain a bonus of 40 mr and armor.
Active: Increase base and bonus health regen by 40% and increase your champion size, but reduces the damage you deal by 60% for 4 sec.If dtone skin is active, instead increases base and bonus health regen by 100%.


Active: Gain +75 movement speed to you when moving towards enemies or enemy turrets for 4 seconds, after 3 sec a shockwave will slow surrounding enemies by 75% for 2 sec.


Passive 1: Casting your ult near an ally summons a local frost storm for 10 sec, the storms slow nearby enemies by 20% and your ally’s attacks burns their targets for 30% bonus magic dam. Over 2 sec.
Passive 2: Slowing a burning enemy ignites your frost storm to deal 40 magic dam. Per sec. And slow by 40% instead for 3 sec.


Passive: Reduces the attacks speed of nearby enemies by 15%


Passive 1: Reduces the damage you take from critical strikes by 20%
Passive 2: If you are hit by a basic attack you slow the attacker’s atk speed by 15% for 1 sec.


Passive: Increase all healing, regen and drain effects on yourself by 30%

Passive 1: +8 movement speed.
Passive 2: Your heals and shields on an allied champion grant you and your target 10-30% attack speed and 5-20 on-hit magic dam.(based on lvl) Passive 3: +10% bonus healing and shielding power.


Passive 1: +10% cdr.
Passive 2: +5% movement speed.
Active: Grants yourself and nearby allies 40% bonues movement speed for 3 sec.


Passive: your spell damage and summoned minions slow the target’s speed by 20% for 1 sec.


Passive: After using an ability, your next basic attack deals bonus magic damage equal to 75% of your base AD + 50% of your AP


Passive:Magic damage ignore 40% or the target’S mr. (applies before magic pen).




She pokes a lot, you could pick guardian since it you make sona a bit tankier a block some of her damage with


She can pokes you a lot, it’s annoying I know but she can run out of mana pretty fast so don’t poke her to much and keep as much mana as you can. Don’t play too agressive.

It’s a really hard matchu and I personally don’t pick her if I see a brand on the other side.





You need to be fast to dodge her spells. Here you cannot use Guardian. You can poke her sometimes but don’t do it too much or don’t spam heal too much or you’ll run out of mana and this is when she could easily kill you. It’s always better to go in if she runs out of mana, but if you do go in before that just dodge her spells as much as you can.

Thresh can easily catch you and then kill you, it's hard to do much when he does. So warding tower bush is important,
