This is simply my notes--what works for me, and what I've learned in playing Evelynn.

I tried to go as in-depth as I felt would be useful in this guide, so hopefully I accomplished that. If not, feel free to leave a comment. I will try to make sure I update this frequently and answer questions anyone may have.


So why play Evelynn?

Strong Early-game
Good Duelist
Versatile Jungler
Downright dirty passive
Can be played AD, AP, Hybrid, or Off-tank, leaving her as a great fill for almost any Jungle situation, and allowing her to fit in with most team comps at least moderately well.
Counters almost every Devourer Jungler (INSANELY useful with the new updates to Devourer)
Awesome map presence
Good objective control
AOE Slow ultimate with Current Health Damage, giving her a great initiate with followup

But most of that is nonsense. The real reason you play Evelynn:
"Mmm, I like it when they scream..." -Evelynn
I have played a lot of Junglers, but through all my time playing Rengar, Jax, Fiddlesticks, Rek'Sai, Nocturne, Shaco, Vi, etc., not one of those Junglers has made the enemy team as terrified and angry as Evelynn. I can not tell you how many times I've been in a curse call, and I just nonchalantly shred someone with this Evelynn build and had everyone burst out laughing. The enemies just don't stand a chance. So if you're looking for a Jungler that can gank from any angle, that can only be seen by pink wards, that can shred enemies before they even know how to focus, and who can tank damage like nobody's business, Evelynn is for you.
