Jungle start.

While jungling, start on which ever side your bot lane is. So blue side then start red. Purple side start blue. This will give you a good leash from your bot lane. Saving smite for the other buff camp. I take W second because its a good bit of shield but mainly for the lifesteal. It'll save you quite some health on the second buff. Grabbing E at level 3 i make my way up top for a gank.

Jungle route

I won't get into the specifics of jungle route and counter jungling because its pretty simple. Having wards and warding entrances of enemy jungle. Ward entrances of your jungle if you're getting counter-jungled hard. Pretty simple things. What i usually do is clear my wraiths and see if any lane has a great opening for a gank. Not just if you want to gank because you don't want to be wasting your time. Of course check if any lane needs help or has a great opening.

Items

The way this lee guide runs is that you will be the main source of engage and tank. If you get a good lead early, the only damage based item i would suggest is hydra. Randuins is an always item for me because it gives the large amount of armour and the deny towards the adc. Sunfire has been a bit unpopular ever since Randuins became so popular but i still recommend it as it is a good item. Spirit Visage and banshees are the main MR items unless you have a secondary tank and you might need some more damage. Maw of malmortius is a good pick in this occasion. Last whisper is a must get in my opinion because it gives him the right amount of damage to stay in the game. But if you need a tank urgently then you might have to go on without it. Early items such as mobility boots and spirit of the ancient golem is just for the mobility for ganks and the early HP to keep you alive.

Skills

People say max e second ... well THIS AIN'T NO GLASS CANNON PARK. Max w second as the shield and lifesteal helps more than the e. Trust me.

Initiating team fights

If you are the initiator of your team, try to get your q on someone who's squishy or someone near them. When you reactivate your q to jump on them, you usually want to kick back the very squishy with your ult(r). I don't expect all of you to be able to do that move. Practice it and soon enough you'll get it right. Another similar move is the "insec". I don't want to tell you what it is because it's really not something you'll do unless you've practised a lot on it. It is a very difficult thing to master.

Your text to link here...

If you scroll down to the engaging with lee ringa section on this guide, you'll see that he/she are obviously implying that doing the "insec" is the best way to engage and all the other ways aren't as ... um "good". But there are many many many ways of engaging. Like the double q, kick someone back. Or simply committing to the fight. When you engage, it's when you see the opening to win a team fight. You don't W back and hope someone will latch on to you like "maokai". You only back off if you've made a bad call. But if you find the right time to engage you'll never need to "W" out.

Peeling and focusing

One thing you want to know how to do is peeling for your carries for example Lux or Varus. basically you want to get the other team off of them as much as possible. Lee's kit makes him an amazing peeler, his e has a decent slow and he has his shield. As well he puts out a fair amount of damage so the person you want off your carries will be slain before you know it.
Now focusing is when you single out a target and try to eliminate them as soon as possible. Given that you have a slow, gap closer and an escape if the peels are just too much for you, it shouldn't be so hard. I mean you are "THE GODLY LEE SIN". Since lee has such high mobility. Its really easy for him to go from defence(peeling) to offence(Focusing) and vis versa.

Comboing

Even though i said the insec isn't a move you shouldn't be doing if you haven't done it before, i still want to talk about the combos you should know to play lee sin.

Q>Q>E>E>R

This is when you have to use your q to get in because you are to fair to reach your enemy. I know i don't have W in there and its because lee sin relies a lot on other units (wards included) because its the source of his mobility. I can't tell you how to do the play unless you give me a specific scenario.

Q>E>E>R>Q

For maximum burst potential because your resonating strike does more damage the lower the target is. You want to deal as much damage as possible until you Q again. Again can' input Lee's W if I don't know how the battle field looks like.

Ganking

Top

: For ganking top going from the river is the common way. But if your top lane is really push up and you know you can tower dive them, here's how you would go. Purple side you would go from the tri bush behind the enemy turret and engage with your double q when they have no minions. Blue side, same thing except from the bush by golems on purple side.

Mid

: Theres only so many ways. Two bushes at middle or my favourite. Go past the river towards enemy wraiths but turn into mid before reaching wraiths. Its the perfect spot ... unless it's warded of course.

Bot

: Usually the river is warded. Tri bush is a maybe warded depending on where your support places the pink ward. You could initiate with your q but you could have your bot lane gap close to the opposing adc and you could W onto your team. Saving your Q for when they flash or somehow get away. Lane ganking you want a pink in the bush so you don't waste your time wondering if they know you're there.

Final Words

Lee sin is a god. I've described how I would play a jungling lee sin. Weighing heavily on tanking and being a team player cause you know ... teamwork OP. I hope this guide has helped you and give me some feedback.
