In this guide i will show you how I play as Xin Zhao. This is just a guide how i play with him, this might not be how you like to play. In this guide i will bring you what Runes i use what Masteries, Items, Skill sequence yeah pretty much most of the stuff you need to know for Xin Zhao.

For my runes i like to use: Greater Mark of Armor Penetration, Greater Glyph of Attack Speed, Greater Quintessence of Armor Penetration, Greater Seal of Magic Resist and Greater Seal of Armor

With the new Masteries being released in the Season 4 patch i have yet to actually try out some Mastery Pages with Xin Zhao, but i will put together a decently good Mastery Page.

Skill Sequence

Skill up Q at level 1 incase you 1v1 someone, since your Q has alot of damage the enemy will either surrender or die, but if you're unlucky you might die depending on the situation.

Take W or E at level 2 depending on the situation. Take your W if you're against an enemy that can poke you alot (Like a ranged or someone with no mana, Riven, Zed.) Skill up E at level 2 if you wish too try and go for First Blood, you can still skil up your W if you want too but i just find the E more helpfull because of the damage.

I like too max out my Q first because of it's HUGE damage, later i max my W becuause of it's heal and lastly i max my E. Remember to take your R whenever it's available.

Passive. Challenge. Xin Zhao's basic attacks, including those enhanced by Three Talon Strike and Audacious Charge, will reduce the target's armor by 15% for 3 seconds.

Q. Three Talon Strike. Xin Zhao prepares to unleash a fearsome combo, causing his next 3 standard attacks to deal his attack damage + 15 / 30 / 45 / 60 / 75 (+1.2 per attack damage)to enemy targets, with the final attack knocking his opponent into the air. Each strike while active reduces the cooldown of his other skills by one second.

W. Battle Cry. Passive: Xin Zhao passively heals himself every third basic attack by 25 / 31 / 37 / 43 / 50 (+70% of ability power).

Active: Xin Zhao unleashes a battle cry, granting him 40 / 50 / 60 / 70 / 80 % attack speed for 5 seconds.

E. Audacious Charge. Xin Zhao charges and challenges an enemy. The charge deals 70 / 105 / 140 / 175 / 210 (+60% of ability power) magic damage to all nearby enemies and slows them for 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 / 45% for 2 seconds.

R. Crescent Sweep. Xin Zhao unleashes a sweep around him that dealing 75 / 175 / 275 (+ 1.0 per bonus attack damage) physical damage to all nearby enemies equal to a base amount plus 15% their current health and knocks them back. Xin Zhao gains 15 / 20 / 25 bonus armor and magic resistance for 6 seconds for each champion hit.

If a challenged target is hit by the sweep, it is unaffected by the knockback.
