His E dodges your unempowered Q. He also has VERY high dueling power Lvl 6+.
Tryndamere
High dueling power and will screw you because he can use his ult while you are in mid ult.
Ahri
You can block every single attack she has with your wind-wall. Be careful as she can dash around your wall to attack. She also has strong power in a gank.
Akali
Akali is a skill toss-up on your ability to shut her down early, and to block her Q-marks. (Buying pink advised to see her in invis)
Zed
Also a skill toss-up on your ability to block his all ins with your wall. Helps alot to take exhaust against him. (Never tower dive)
Annie
She is a very strong counter to you as she can stun you, and then use her lock on ability for maximum damage. Very high unblockable burst, Harass early but focus on csing.
Brand
Really depends on your ability to dodge his W, and your ability to block his stun and his ult with your wall.
Cassiopeia
Use your e to dodge her spell Q, if you are poisoned and she is within range, use your wall to block most of her spam E damage.
Cho'Gath
You can harass him early due to his immobility, do not expect to be able to dodge his Q with your E, as he can silence you before hand to make sure he lands it. He will also be able to proc your passive shield by his spikes hitting you through minions.
Corki
Pretty simple lane, avoid trading without your wind wall as he does alot of damage in short and long trades.
Darius
Darius is very strong in a 1v1 situation. Try to avoid long trades as he will get maximum damage with his passive. Try to cs as much as you can and then pick up kills mid as your kill potential is low against Darius. (Taking exhaust is very advised to help with early duels)
Dr. Mundo
Although you can block his Q's with wind-wall if he lands 1 on you and you have no minions to dash through, you are screwed. He also has his ult which will screw up your DPS.
Fiora
Try to cs as she will beat you in early duels due to her being able to parry and stun you through your empowered Q. Wait for a gank because she will be most vulnerable then.
Fizz
Play safe and cs, off of cs only you will outscale him, you can play more aggressive when you buy Stattik Shiv. Playing passive against him or baiting out his shark and blocking it with Wind-Wall is very effective .
Gangplank
Unless you are very ahead try to fight him near minions and dodge his barrel. You have better quick trading power than him if you you are able to dash and get an auto attack then Q and dash out. Note that your wall will block his Parrrley, BUT IT WILL NOT BLOCK THE FUSE LEADING TO A SEPERATE BARREL.
Garen
Garen is a special one. He has great harass on you and can outscale you if he gets any kind of lead. However with some turtling and good farming you can usually get him to overstep so you and your jg can secure the kill.
Gnar
Try to harass him very early and block his Q to avoid getting slowed. Be very careful when he is or is close to being Mega-Gnar as he will shred you with CC.
Graves
Avoid early trades as he will win almost all of the due to his high damage output. Try to block his Q
Heimerdinger
Heimer has very high pressure and damage all through the game, you have to try to farm as best you can and hope for a gank.
Illaoi
Try to block her Soul Shackle with your wall, try to dash out of her tentacle hits due to them healing her. Try to cs as you will out scale her.
Irelia
She can do a lot more damage than you through early and midgame due to her true damage. Try to let her push and then get a gank from your jungler.
Katarina
This matchup depends on your skill to dodge her ultimate with your Wind-Wall.
Kassadin
No one plays this champ lol.
Kayle
She will outscale you hard past level 6. You can only Wind-Wall her Q, so be careful of trading because as you back up she can auto you from afar with her E.
LeBlanc
Play safe and try to Wall her Q if is harassing you, if you get ganked try to wall out her E.
Lissandra
She will do a lot of damage through her Q. Try to wall out her E so she cant get near you to root or stun you.
Lux
Quite easy matchup, she will have early harass on you, but if you dodge or wall her basic abilities you will win out. Be wary as you can not wall out her ult.
I am a Gold Ranked Yasuo main who has been climbing the ranks ever since I picked him up. I believe if you can learn to play Yasuo well, you can carry almost any game. Recently I actually carried a 4v5! But first you gotta learn to play Yasuo, and get yourself an early lead!

With runes I find that taking 2.76% crit chance will give you 6% crit chance with Yasuo's passive, that will give you that little push that helps when you play aggressive in the early game.

I know you may be skeptical of taking Grasp of the Dying on Yasuo but since Riot removed the healing on crit chance Keystone Mastery, There isn't a definitive keystone mastery on yasuo. Grasp of the Undying will help you sustain in lane, and gives you a much better trade. Trust me, from experience people will try to fight you early, if initiate as soon as you clear the wave become level 2, you will win the fight because grasp of the undying gives you that little push you need.

So you may be thinking, "This Yasuo is crazy for maxing out Q first, he must be horrible! Forget this guide," However please hear me out. Maxing E is very good for trading, however it can only be used on average 10/s on a target. If you take Grasp of the Undying then your Q's will sometimes do even more damage than they expect, AND it gives you the little advantage you need to duel other Mid or Top laners.
