Dodge the Q's with your E.
This matchup got faily easier with the Grievous Wounds buff.
Akali
Try not to get Q, auto'd, Q, auto'd
Kled is one of the champions that can follow an Akali with your E and R.
Your E and Q can reveal her in her Twilight Shroud.
Camille
Pay attention to her shield CD.
You can use your R to cancel her E stun.
Her Q true damge can mess with you so watch out.
Cho'Gath
One of the easier tanks to fight against.
Dodge his Q, i guess.
If it gets too tanky to the point he wins fights, just push the leane and look for roams with your R or TP (if you brought it)
Darius
Hug him when he uses his Q with your E so he doesn't heal and gets a passive stack.
Watch out with his R as it can mess with your remount.
Dr. Mundo
If I was Mundo and saw Kled on the Champ Select I would dodge.
This matchup is pretty one sided since Mundo relies a lot on his healing and Kled just cancels 60% of it by hitting a Q.
Fiora
Doran's Shield with Tabi and Bramble Vest rush.
She has a cancerous amount of true damage.
She deals max health damage on her passive and Kled has the highest max health in the game ,so those two don't go well together.
And that PARRY which can leave you stunned for half an hour after you just tried to Q or R her.
Although I have to admit that the GW buff has made this matchup more bearable than before.
This is imo the worst matchup Kled has to face.
Gangplank
A pirate with 1000000MS, an orange which can liberate him from your Q slow, the perma Q poke and healing with grasp and that Sheen powerspike and late game SUPER DAMAGE.
Pretty annoying I know, try to stick to him avoiding his barrel slows.
Start Doran's Shield so you can regen most of his poke.
Garen
Since his mini rework he's been terrorizing the entire Top Lane with how fast he stacks Conqueror.
To be honest i don't know what to say, IT'S FREAKING GAREN.
E-Q into him and pray for the best.
Gnar
Ranged, Max health damage, Perma slows, Super tanky in Mega form, Escape and Chase with that annoying jump and a Game Changing R with a 30 second CD at rank 3.
Super cancerous to fight against
Go D. Shield and rush tabi.
Illaoi
Another example of a matchup that got fairly easier since the GW buff.
Just dodge the E and STAB her, she'll either die, get very low or have to flash since Illaoi doesn't have great mobility and depends on her E and R.
Also watch out with the 1V2's she can pull off with her R.
Irelia
Irelia can be really slippery for Kled cause of her Q but if you can stick to her and apply your entire W damage you should be fine
Just make sure to dodge the stun either by E or R.
Jax
Bait his E so he doesn't block all of your W's damage.
Go full agro on him before he gets level 6
Jayce
Ranged, 10000MS and that annoying push makes Jayce really annoying to fight against.
Time your second E right since if you don't he'll just push you away and run at 9000mph so you wont catch him.
Kayle
Abuse really hard her pre-6 state
Try to end the game as fast as possible so she doesn't get to that Level 16 Powerspike.
Kennen
Ranged, low priced powerspikes
You try to do anything against Kennen and you just get 1000 shurikens to the face and stunned for what seems to be an eternity.
Rush merc treads and Hexdrinker.
Kled
TURN THEIR LUNGS INTO MITTENS!
Maokai
The invulnerabilty is kinda cancerous but he can still get pulled by your Q while on his W
The Grievous Wounds buff also made this matchup better since he doesn't get much healing from his passive.
If it gets too tanky to the point he wins fights, just push the leane and look for roams with your R or TP (if you brought it)
Mordekaiser
Morde doesn't have much mobility so it's easy to stick to the Iron Revenant, and the GW is really good to counter his W.
But try to get ahead before he gets Seeker's Armguard, otherwise you'll be having a bad time trying to kill him.
Nasus
Play really agressively against Nasus so he doesn't stack. If he is under 100 stacks at around 10 minutes you've done a fine job.
Olaf
The healing of his W and Conqueror all together with his E's true damage make him really hard to fight 1v1 since he just mashes his keyboard and wins most 1v1's.
Although your remount can kinda screw with him.
Ornn
Don't think Ornn is an easy matchup just because Tanks are supposed to be weak in lane
Ornn is a tank but he's really good in lane with his 10.000 knockups, the 900 damage CLAP and his passive.
If it gets too tanky to the point he wins fights, just push the leane and look for roams with your R or TP (if you brought it)
Pantheon
How quickly he stacks Conqueror and his execute which can screw up your remounts.
When he uses his E try to get behind him with your E and stab the guy.
Poppy
Haven't fought many Poppys but i do know some things:
If you Q (dismounted) when she E's, you won't get knockbacked by her E.
If you try to Q (dismounted) and she activates her W you will get a big beatdown since you are now grounded.
If it gets too tanky to the point she wins fights, just push the leane and look for roams with your R or TP (if you brought it)
Quinn
Ranged and that push of hers
This matchup is basically like Jayce's
Time your second E right since if you don't she'll just push you away.
Renekton
This a skill matchup
You can go PTA to try and get a lead in the early game but I usually just go Conqueror.
And as most matchups; the GW buff made so Renekton doesn't heal so much from his Q and Conqueror but his little combo of E-W-Q-E stills hurts a lot so consider taking Bone Plating into him.
But if you don't win early it's just GG since he outscales you.
Riven
Kled is really good at sticking onto Riven's "Hippy Hop" as Kled would say with his E if timed correctly.
Rumble
The high damage this guy has with his flamethrower and his E is really good.
And that shield that gives MS with such a low cooldown of 6 seconds can save his life.
Go D.Shield and rush Hexdrinker.
Ryze
He can get so tanky with a Frozen Heart and Tabi and he'll still deal lots of damage because of his passive.
His 100000MS with Phase Rush and roots let's him escape really well from your Q while leaving you low health or even killing you
Rush Merc Treads and MAYBE a hexdrinker.
Shen
His Q hurts a lot since it deals Max Health damage and it will proc Grasp.
His W just blocks yours
But just keep in mind that you can cancel his R channel with your "Chaaaaaaaarge!!!".
If it gets too tanky to the point he wins fights, just push the leane and look for roams with your R or TP (if you brought it)
Singed
Where to begin with Singed.
An ******* to fight against.
One of the best top laners.
He can run away from a 1v5 with no problems.
If his jungler comes you just get flinged and die.
Post-6 is basically unkillable with all the stats he gains.
He will rush Tabi to screw with you.
It doesn't matter if he takes Conqueror or Aftershock IT WILL BE GOOD NONETHELESS.
RUSH MERC TREADS AND HEXDRINKER FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.
If you think he's going to proxy
wait in the bush around your 2nd turret.
Sion
Following him when he R's with your R is really fun to watch.
Just abuse his early game as much as you can cuz late game he'll just be a Thick Brick Wall which can tank 3 Nexus Turrets at the same time.
If it gets too tanky to the point he wins fights, just push the leane and look for roams with your R or TP (if you brought it)
Sylas
Well Sylas got another rework and he actually became a lot harder to fight against even with his low armor early (but it scales like hell onto later in the game), his W healing buff can really screw with you but at least he doesn't have the "execute" on it anymore and his damage is just NUTS right now.Be very careful of this guy.
Teemo
He's ranged and has a lot of poison and MS so he's an obnoxious matchup.
Bait his blind so he doesn't block your W with it.
Hexdrinker rush.
Tryndamere
Trynda just needs to pray for the crits that his passive gives him randomly and he'll either win a trade with a triple crit at level 3 or just loose a trade hard if his RNG isn't good.
Just all-in him at level 3 and your W should do the work for early game damage (or not...)
Randuin's is a good buy into Tryndamere.
Urgot
He's one of the biggest 1v9 machines later in the game with 3 items.
His execute can be really annoying when you're close to remounting.
But on the early game all-in him since he doesn't have his W on a toggle, the fights can favour Kled pretty well.
Vayne
Ranged, she can stop your STABS with her E, True Damage every 3 autos and she'll most likely be running PTA so yeah... Lots of damage to be felt in this matchup
Doran's Shield into Tabi.
Vladimir
Whenever you can just go ham on him since even when he's in pool your Q can still pull him and apply the GW which can screw with him since he's all about the healing.
Volibear
How much of a threat is Volibear?
I actually have no idea.
I've fought like 2 Volibears as Kled.
Wukong
His Rework is so crazy broken, so ****ing overloaded.
Yasuo
Bait his Windwall so he doens't block your Q and if you can, use your R into his nado to kill him.
He'll try to run away as fast as possible from your Q and since he can be pretty slippery even for Kled because of his E.
But if you get onto a fight with him in the early game you just outdamage him so hard because of your W.
PS: Randuin's Omen is a good buy into Yasuo.
Yorick
And yet another matchup made better by the GW buff.
Abuse his pre-6 state.
Save your E to get out of an eventual cage.
With Conqueror and his Maiden he is still really good on damage and healing but if he gets pulled it gets better for Kled.
Sett
This matchup just depends on how well you can dodge his W .
Sejuani
She just perma-cc's someone and you stab them.
Yuumi
Who doesn't go well with Yuumi?
Lulu
Making you big, giving you HP and Shields and making everyone around you Airborne while you're close to remounting is one of the best sensations
Kindred
With Kindred around, Lamb's Respite gives Kled a free ticket to keep going HAM so he can remount and continue stabbing.

He's been my main since forever. This guy can do anything for all situations: want those butt-clenching close fights? You've got it. Want to dodge and weave through enemy lines, sending fear through your enemy's hearts? Kled's your man. WANT TO CUSS AND SCREAM AT YOUR ENEMY ALL DAY? DAGNABBIT WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR???
Kled is such a fun and rewarding champion when played right and in my opinion the best voice work in League
PROS
-Very good sticking power with Q, E and R.
-High base damage and base HP give you strong laning presence.
-Infinite HP if you play around your remount properly.
-Ability to 2V1 if you play around your remount properly.
-Snowballs insanely hard.
-Dismounting drops turret aggro, making diving easy.
-Great teamfighting ultimate.
-Fun playstyle.
-HilLbily accent.
-Tacos.
CONS
-Very vulnerable in mini form if remounting is on CD, W is on CD or if you do not play aggressive (lowest base MS in the game when dismounted).
-Passive playstyles can be bad, but playing aggressive without knowing how can be worse.
-Falls off HARD.
-Hard to play from being vs. snowbally matchups.
-Hard to balance proper playstyle (too ham and you die, too passive and you're weak).
-Depends heavily on team to follow up on his R engages.
