I am an Akshan One-Trick from EUW. I've been playing Akshan since a few months after his launch and haven't stopped playing him since. Even though I am far from the highest rank in the game I still feel like I can provide some insight into those who are new to in the Amazing Akshan or are just interested on how to counter him.

In the first week of season 12 I climbed from Bronze 1 to gold 4 75lp in less than 6 days. While yes, this is still a point where I am dog**** at the game, I have the motivation to keep on pushing and make it to the gates of "high elo".

The reason you pick Akshan isn't because he is a "OP new champ". Nonono, you pick him because you want to play a marksman outside of botlane. You want to witness the power that is an early game marksman vs enemies who can't do anything against you. You want to climb with one of the most cocky and badass marksmen in the game. Well, you've come to the right place.

This bit is just for the people who came here to complain about how broken he is.
Akshan is shocking relatively simple to counter. The most simple way to counter him is with Exhaust, especially early game. He all ins you? Just exhaust and walk away. 2nd way to kill him is pink wards. Akshan players HATE pink wards. Since we play like assassins, it ****s up our invis. Last of all, CC. Plain and simple. We dive in to get an e reset? CC us and we die!

Akshan doesn't have very interesting combos but they are very much worth learning and abusing.

BASIC TRADING COMBO
AA - Q - AA
This combo will do wonders when you can hit it. You proc PTA, 2x Passive and shield bash. Try to do this at level 1 when the opponent can't trade back.

R + E COMBO
Full channel R - E
This combo can suprise unexpecting low health enemies under tower. Full charge R and then dive under tower using E around the tower. This will either kill them if they dont move fast enough or put them into a position where your team can clean up.

Not too many combos for Akshan, just position well and auto attack.
