Hi, my name is RxBlackBeast13 and this is my guide to play Vladimir, The Crimson Reaper.
I played Vladimir for a short time but the time that ive played him, I loved it and im gonna show you how to play this beast on Top lane.

Pros:

+Strong sustainability
+Good at farming
+Able to escape
+Tons of health for a mage
+Good damage output
+Very powerful late game

Cons:

-It gets focused in teamfights
-Slow beginning game
-Some top laners can outmatch Vladimir
-Almost non CC (Crowd Control)

This are your skills:

Crimson pact
Every 40 points of bonus health gives Vladimir 1 ability power and every 1 point of ability power gives Vladimir 1.4 bonus health. These bonuses do not stack with themselves.

-This is a great passive because the more health, the more Ap and vice-versa.
-A great passive that means the item Rylai's Crystal Scepter gives massive boosts to Vladimir

Transfusion
Vladimir drains the lifeforce of his target, dealing 90 / 125 / 160 / 195 / 230 (+60% of ability power) magic damage and healing himself for 15 / 25 / 35 / 45 / 55 (+25% of ability power).

-The known ability of Vladimir that makes soo much damage and you gain lots of HP.
-Its a great combination with Spirit of the Spectral Wraith

Sanguine Pool
Vladimir sinks into a pool of blood for 1.5 seconds, becoming untargetable, gaining 40% movement speed, and slowing enemies above him by 40% for .25 seconds. The slow duration is refreshed if enemies stay within the area of the pool. The movement speed bonus decays rapidly over the duration.

Vladmir deals 20 / 33.75 / 47.5 / 61.25 / 75 (+3.75% of bonus health) magic damage every half second to them and heals himself for 12.5% of the damage done.

-This ability makes a great escape tool from a bad teamfight or a gank.
-You loose a good amount of HP with this ability so be careful when you use it

Tides of Blood
Vladimir unleashes a torrent of blood dealing 60 / 85 / 110 / 135 / 160 (+45% of ability power) magic damage to nearby enemies.

Each cast gives him an Empowered stack (max 4), increasing his healing and regeneration by 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 % each. Additionally, his next Tides of Blood deals 25% more damage and costs 25% more Health per stack up to a maximum of 60 / 80 / 100 / 120 / 140 health and 120 / 180 / 240 / 300 / 360 (+45% of ability power) damage.

-Makes a great farming tool.
-The health regen at level 2 is amazing.

Hemoplague
Vladimir infects the target area with a virulent plague. Affected enemies take 12% increased damage for 5 seconds.

After 5 seconds, infected enemies take 150 / 250 / 350 (+70% of ability power) magic damage.

-This ultimate is like an ignite, good to finish enemys in a 1 v 1 situation.
-Its better casted in teamfights.

This is the skill sequence:

I pick to level up to the max Transfusion because it deals lots of damage and gives you the health you need.
It gives much more with the Spirit of the Spectral Wraith.

I take 9x Greater Mark of Magic Penetration to make some damage at early game.

I take 9x Greater Seal of Armor because most of the top laners are AD so, the more defense, the better.

I take 9x Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist because of the same reason represented above.
if they are AD, you dont need much MR.

I take 3x Greater Quintessence of Health so I can cast Tides of Blood freely and to handle much more in lane.

These are my spell choices:

In my opinion, this is the spell for almost EVERYTHING like escape, follow that pooped enemy with 10 HP, try to steal some buff's and much more.

A good spell on Vladimir to escape or keep up with the enemys with the use of Sanguine Pool.

Other good spells:

To finish that pooped as hell enemy that is ****ing up your game with poop like that.

This is just to you gank other lanes or kepping that the enemy farms up in your lane.

Doran's Shield + 1x Health Potions are the standard opening items that i use on Vladimir.it gives you a burst of health and a little sustain with the Health Potion

This is his "main" item, the item that is known. This makes that you recieve some more health with Tides of Blood so you should rush this to Spirit of the Spectral Wraith.

This item is very good to chase because of is passive. Rylai´s crystal Scepter gives slow to the opponents when you use an ability and it gives an extra health so you can handle the teamfights with more pleasure :D.

The final item that give to you tons of damage. Thats All.

To farm with Vladimir is very easy, you just need to land the basics in the right time and also use Tides of Blood to keep the stacks up and to get them health regen.

You can use also Transfusion to last hit and to get some sustain.
You can poke the enemy with Transfusion so they can back out and you can farm like a BAUSS.
