Hi guys, I'm a Brazilian player, and welcome to the guide I built. I've worked a lot and long on it, so I hope you enjoy it, and I'll appreciate any possible feedback. I identify with Soraka a lot because of my beliefs, because I believe that everyone is wonderful the way and has their own value and purpose, just like Soraka. I also identify myself a lot with your style of play, because I like supports focused on peel and protection, without losing value in harass at early game. Because of this, my main supports are Soraka, Lulu, Nami and Janna, and I play a lot with them all daily. Lastly, I like charismatic characters, and your sarcasm is more than phenomenal. As I said, Soraka she's a support that focuses on peel and protection, still having a bit of harass, and an incredible sustain. Its Q guarantees a great poke and a great sustain, its W is an incredible heal that protects and provides sustain to its allies (especially passing Rejuvenation for them), its E is a relatively effective group control in area, and its R is an incredibly strong healing that can turn out to be a complete fight, since the power increases by 50% for each ally with less than 40% of life (stacking up to 200% lul), and with the build that I propose to you, this goes become even greater. In my guide, I will talk about behavior on the lane, game vision, team fights, your skills, the items (why and when to do), among other important things, then, sit comfortably in your chair, and prepare to learn everything I know. Welcome to my Soraka's guide and ... Let's heal them all! |
Pros
|
+ High sustain + Amazing peel + Safe early game + Long range skills + Strong teamfights + Wide map pressure + Annoying harassment + Star guardian soraka :D |
Soraka's high sustain with her Q, together with her long range and annoying slow and damage makes her early game so strong and safe. Her wide map pressure with R and Redemption means you'll almost always be unpredictable and can keep your allies safe even if you're too far away. Soraka's great peel, AoE crowd control and amazing AoE heals are crazy, and makes her teamfight so strong, and i can't forget to say her lines and skins are so funny and beautiful. |
Cons |
- Squishy - No scape - Team realiant - Life-cost healing - High cooldowns at early game - Lacks strong engage/disengage tools |
Unfortunately, Soraka is too squishy, doens't have a good scape tool, and her disengage tools are weak, this means you'll almost always be focused in ganks and short fights (sometimes even at teamfights), this also means it's not too easy to save your adcarry if he's in big trouble. All of this, combined with her low damage, means she is too team reliant (more than other supports). Lastly, at early game, with the exception of your Q, your cooldowns are also too high, but fortunately the cooldown of your W is decreased quickly so you maximize it. I can't forget to say that your life-cost healing is sotime annoying, and some players will like to surprise kill you if you're healing your allies (i hate being killed by a instant flash + burst) |
