Talon
Talon is your ultimate counter, especially after the change (You don't have your scilence). Talon has a jump with a scilence, ranged poke, he is ad so your shield won't work and he can go stealth with his ult. You can only beat Talon by lane-swapping or really good jungler camp and roam

If you're here to learn kassadin or just for the item build and masteries, take a look and enjoy. Kassadin is still a really strong champion, even after his change, but he needs more skill to play and has more counterplay. Because of that I'll give you a couple of matchups with difficulty and how to play them.
