Poppy W is a HARDCOUNTER of Irelia her Q's, due to this her cooldown will roll and she gets statchecked and Crowd Controlled by poppy. Poppy thereby has better earlygame clear speed paired with being a pro-active early game ganker against Irelia that wants to powerfarm clear her first item.
Taliyah
Taliyah E is a HARDCOUNTER of Irelia her Q's, due to this Irelia cannot dash into Taliyah ---> Irelia gets outkited and zoned away. Taliyah has a hybrid way of jungling, meaning she can powerfarm and be active on the map at wish.
Jax
Jax has (overall seen) a faster jungle clear speed than Irelia at all times.
Jax has the statcheck over Irelia at all times, however can lose it still due to bad Jax E usage —> Irelia pre-level 6 has issues gaining her W into Jax E while maintaining her 4/4 Pasive (Granting Irelia her last stack or having prestacks makes her win pre-level 6).
Irelia E stun is a good way to secure Irelia Q's on Jax without him capable of using Jax E, however Jax E can be used by Jax during Irelia Q Dash (Try to bait out).
Kha'Zix
Kha’Zix has a decent jungle clear, which increased rapidly on his first item. Thereby he beats Irelia her jungle clear speed at all times. Irelia has a bad matchup into Kha’Zix due to Kha’Zix his Stealth gap closers on R, paired with insanely high statcheck on isolated Q’s.
Trundle
Trundle has a decent clear, however lacks some AOE. Irelia has a slower early game jungle clear than trundle —> which becomes faster for Irelia on her finished On-Hit items.
Irelia struggles a lot statchecking trundle, due to trundle his W/R/Q output against melees.
However Irelia wins Pre-level 6 against Trundle, and loses against Trundle at all times with R.
Teemo
Tryndamere
Tryndamere jungle is quite good, due to his Statcheck from Ragebar and Q+E(Aoe).
Irelia has a slower jungle clear than Tryndamere at all times, Irelia has a hard time statchecking tryndamere —> This is due to Tryndamere his statcheck(especially when low HP) paired with 5 second death immunity.
Irelia jungle has an easier time due to Tryndamere low Rage Bar start fights, thereby its recommended for her to save her damage window to hit Tryndamere on lower health.
Shen
Shen his Solotarget camp clear is insanely high, especially with Pre-use of Shen Q
Irelia has a slightly slower early clear than Shen, however will catch up easily over Shen his jungle clear speed with items.
Irelia has a hard time dealing against Shen, due to Shen his Anti-Melee On-Hit kit —> Shen W block, Shen Empowered Q’s through enemies.
Irelia has to be aware of Shen his Global R ability when taking skirmishes, thereby taking teamfights into Shen can be dealt with good use of mobility to outrange/kite his abilities on enemies/Shen.
Gragas
Gragas Jungle has a slightly faster clear than Irelia early on, which will be equal after the first clear. Irelia has a hard time trading into Gragas his amazing disengage E and R, Thereby Irelia R Bladebox and Irelia E + Stun window into Irelia Q (Removes Gragas Disengage usage) can be great tools for Irelia to try to gap close Gragas, however it requires Irelia to (predict) and outplay Gragas E / R usage.
Olaf
Olaf his statcheck is insanely high, espcially when Olafs Passive and R have most benefit. Irelia should try to avoid early game Olaf alone, untill she has Kraken Slayer to execute Olafs dangerious Passive.
Olafs clearspeed is not that amazingly better than irelia after first clear.
Maokai
Maokai jungle speed is a tiny bit faster than Irelia, which will turn into favor for Irelia on her On-Hit item spikes. Maokai is a low economy champ that will focus on ganking and skirmishes a lot —> Irelia's goal is to outfarm Maokai while countergank / have more useful pressure than Maokai.
Irelia should make sure to + Maokai outside of his W range, thereby Irelia can make sure to gain her 4/4 Passive.
Cassiopeia
Cassiopeia’s jungle clear is really bad, Irelia will outphase Cassiopeia’s clear and jungle presence at all times.
Cassiopeia’s statcheck paired with her W(+R) that grounds enemies is insanely hard to deal with as Irelia during the *late*mid / late game. This is due to Cassiopeia’s durable HP + consistent damage gained from items and E spam.
Teemo
Teemo jungle is quite good, however misses aoe damage pre-level 6 and strong mobility.
Irelia has a stronger jungle clear than Teemo at full On-Hit item spikes. Thereby Irelia statcheck is far higher than Teemo early/mid game, however Teemo Q blind and its CDR on it combined are insanely hard to deal with as Irelia.
Irelia has to be aware of Teemo Blind during teamfights that can disrupt her all in and Q’s damage.
Elise
Elise has strong early game presence while having the same jungle clear speed as Irelia most of the game. Thereby Elise her kit is strong into most melee enemies that suffer from close range crowd control like Irelia, due to Irelia’s Q time in a straight line.
Irelia has stronger statcheck than Elise during the early / mid game, however Irelia can struggle focusing her target in skirmishes into Elise.
Udyr
Udyr has a very very healthy clear and amazing statcheck, Thereby he has mobility through movement speed and an aoe spell. Irelia has a slower jungle clear and statcheck than Udyr at most of the game, Irelia with blade of the ruined king can beat Udyr only. Irelia has a strong gap closer into Udyr due her dashes however.
Wukong
Wukong is one of the armor bruisers with strong statcheck. Irelia can compete with Wukongs statcheck due to her hybrid damage and W mitigation into Wukong his Autohit + Q burst. Irelia has equally clearspeed after her first clear.
Malphite
Malphite jungle has a decently fast clear, and a healthy one. Irelia has the same clear, which will be faster on Irelia’s On-Hit Damage item(s).
Irelia has a rough time into level 6+ Malphite, due to his capability of slowing attack speed, negating physical damage (armor item spikes) paired with maphite R pressure.
Irelia has the statcheck over ap malphite at all times, however can struggle heavily into tank malphite on later malphite item spikes.
Udyr
Ivern
Ivern has a faster early jungle clear than Irelia, which will turn in favor for Irelia. Having a lead over Ivern creates an easier snowball, due to Iverns Maturing of camps.
Irelia has a strong statcheck into Ivern, however can struggle into skirmishes into Ivern. Ivern his support peel and Daisy statcheck can cause problems paired with the right synergies with Ivern.
Fiddlesticks
Fiddlesticks has a stronger early clear than Irelia, due to Fiddlesticks W aoe while dragging camp to camp. Irelia’s jungle clear speed will be slightly ahead of fiddle on Irelia's On-Hit Damage item(s).
Irelia has a stronger statcheck than Fiddlesticks during the entire game, however can find herself less useful on good fiddlestick R’s during teamfights.
Irelia should try keep her E stun to interrupt Fiddlesticks W Channel during skirmishes, thereby Irelia lvl 6+ prefers to engage with her R first in this matchup.
Rammus
Rammus has a nice and healthy clear, due to Rammus W / Passive.
Irelia has a slower clear speed than Rammus early on, which becomes faster for Irelia on her bigger On-Hit item spikes.
Irelia has a hard time statchecking Rammus, due to her amount of On-Hit effects that increase Rammus his W/Passive *Magic* damage. However the moment Irelia gains tenacity / black cleaver she will find herself in a better spot into Rammus.
Irelia has to be aware of Rammus his stronger tankiness, however Rammus only has one crowd control to protect dive in from Irelia and her teammates.
Lillia
Lillia has a fast jungle clear especially on her *Burn* Item spikes. Irelia has a slower clear which matches with a slightly slower clear on her On-Hit items against Lillia *Burn* items.
Irelia has much stronger statcheck than Lilllia during the early/mid game, which diminishes rapidly on Irelia her defensive items on items 3/4/5/(6) which do not perform well into Lillias Anti-Tank statcheck.
Gwen
Gwen clears jungle slightly faster, which will favor Irelia on her second On-Hit Damage item.
Irelia has the statcheck over Gwen early/mid game but loses it late game.
Irelia pre-level 6 has an issue engaging on gwen on range, due to Gwen her W into Irelia E —> which can cause Irelia to fight without her 4/4 Passive
Kayn
Kayn has a strong jungle clear due to his aoe abilities paired with good mobility through the jungle. Irelia has a slower jungle clear speed than Kayn, until Irelia has a completed On-Hit Damage item.
Irelia has a fairly easy time against Shadow Assassin, due to Irelia W mitigation paired with statcheck. However Irelia can struggle into Darkin: Rhaast statcheck during the late game especially considering the general matchup of hitting Irelia spells into frequently dashing Kayn Q and R.
Morgana
Morgana jungle has a pretty good jungle clear paired with sustain on Passive. Irelia Jungle clears slower than Morgana overall, which gets faster and slower depending on Irelia her On-Hit items and Morgana her *Burn* Item spikes.
Irelia has the statcheck over Morgana at all times, however Irelia can struggle *moving* against Morgana her hard crowd control snare(s) and stun.
Bel'Veth
Bel’Veth has a better jungle clear than Irelia at all times. Irelia has stronger statcheck than Bel’Veth early / Mid game, which gets outscaled by Bel’Veth during the late mid / late game.
Irelia should maintain having *Damage* or/and Damage + Defense item into Belveths anti Tank Bruiser kit.
Garen
Garen Jungle has a faster clear than Irelia jungle, which will diminish on Irelia's On-Hit Damage item(s). Irelia has statcheck over Garen pre-level 6, however she loses it slightly during Garens level 6 and Garen W stacks. (Mostly item lead and ambush decide the statcheck in this matchup).
Karthus
Karthus Jungle has a very fast clear at all times, which beats Irelia clear. thereby he scales very well paired with output that is guaranteed to land, due to Karthus Passive and R.
Irelia will always have the statcheck over karthus, however has to be careful of Karthus Exhaust its statcheck → which gets satisfied by Irelia Q’s to dodge Karthus Q’s easier.
Ireliadoes get outscaled by Karthus late game, however can impact the map early/mid game in her advantage.
Mordekaiser
Mordekaiser jungle clear is quite good and healthy, due to his Passive and W. Irelia has a slower clear speed than Mordekaiser, which will turn into Irelia’s favor after her fully completed On-Hit Item(s).
Irelia has a stronger statcheck than Mordekaiser before level 6, however on mordekaiser level 6 it becomes difficult to beat Mordekaiser —> Item spikes, lead and defensive items matter from here on.
Nasus
Nasus jungle clears slower than Irelia at the early / mid / early-late game.
Irelia has the statcheck over Nasus pre-level 6, later on it will be hard to function into nasus statcheck —> Several item spikes and tenacity/Qss effects can change its course on this as well. This is due to Nasus W being really effective into Irelia, which Irelia should take account for. Irelia does get outscaled by Nasus Q stacks eventually…
Vayne
Vayne has a quite strong early jungle clear, due to her Q uptime and attack speed + AD , however she lacks Aoe and mobility. Irelia has a faster jungle clear than Vayne on her finished On-Hit item ending during the late Mid game. Irelia has early statcheck into Vayne, however loses it quite fast. —> This is due to Vayne R+Q stealth Gap closers + E knockback/wallstun. T hereby Vayne deals amazing damage into tanks/bruisers due to her W true damage On-Hit.
Kindred
Kindred jungle clear is faster than Irelia, which can turn in favor for Irelia on having a lead.
Thereby Irelia always has the statcheck over Kindred, which depends on Irelia hitting her
4/4 Passive during fights —> which can be hard to do pre-level 6 Irelia due to Kindred Q Dash with low CD.
Kindred R disables the function of Divers through death immunity, be aware of this as Irelia +(diver teammates).
Talon
Talon has an amazing jungle clear, due to his Passive+ W(aoe) + E mobility. Irelia has a slower clear speed than Talon at all times, this can change due to Irelia having a lead over Talon. Irelia has a stronger statcheck than Talon and she should use this to create an advantage over him in skirmishes. —> Irelia W physical damage mitigation against Talon burst paired with consistent damage output.
Darius
Darius jungle has a slightly faster early clear, which will diminish on Irelia's On-Hit Damage item(s). Irelia jungle has a fairly good matchup into darius when she doesn't fall behind, this is due to her statcheck paired with mobility to match darius his outer Q output for his Passive.
Diana
Diana has a better clear speed than Irelia, which is still slightly faster on Irelia's On-Hit Damage item(s). Irelia has a slightly stronger statcheck than Diana, which gets decided by who has a lead over the other and/or the right defensive item(s). Irelia jungle wants to try to fight skirmishes into Diana, however Irelia needs to hit her combo pre-level 6 on to win into Diana.
Shaco
AD- and AP Shaco both have pretty good clears, due to Shaco W boxes and Basic attacks / Box AP ratio clearing during the mid/late game.
Irelia has a slower clear than shaco, and has to be aware of shaco his early game strength(especially AD Shaco). Irelia's clear speed will beat up Shaco his clear during Irelia's first 2 On-Hit items and will diminish after this again.
Irelia has insanely higher statcheck into shaco, however has to be careful of AD Shaco early game and both Shaco their Box Fear crowd control during teamfights, Red Lance is a must in this matchup.
Sett
Sett jungle has a pretty strong kit, however he lacks mobility as a jungler. Sett has a faster jungler clear speed than Irelia during the early game, which turns into Irelia her favor on her first and second On-Hit item spike(s)
Sett has a really high statcheck, however Irelia jungle can deal with Sett easier, due to the prevention of Sett E stun —> Irelia Q is allowed to dodge Sett W with her .
Volibear
Volibear had a good jungle clear due to his Passive and W+E. thereby his early ganks and lvl 6 tower shutdown make him really strong and present. Irelia has a slower clear speed than Volibear until she reaches her first On-Hit item. Volibear is one of the strongest statcheckers in the game, his spikes are on level 6, 0 items and 2-3 items. Irelia should be aware of this and fight him on his weaker spikes, thereby Dodging Volibear E can make the difference often.
Zac
Zac has a strong clear due to his W sustained damage paired with E leap mobility. E leap gains increase range from level ups → this helps Zac to gank during early levels.
Irelia has a similar first clear, which becomes faster than Zac on her On-Hit items.
Irelia has the statcheck over Zac at all times. However Irelia can lack Gap closer if not used Irelia E on Zac E channel leap. Thereby Zac his frontline in terms of Crowd control, tankiness and Zac Passive outvalue Irelia's frontline quite hard. Irelia has to be aware of this.
Amumu
Amumu has a better clear than Irelia early on, which will turn better for Irelia with On-Hit Damage item(s)
Amumu with AP Bruiser items has really good consistent damage statcheck, this Amumu build could be hard to statcheck as Irelia when She misses spells or tanks Amumu Q’s in an ambush. This is due to Amumu's consistent damage on W/E paired with crowd control. However Irelia with Maw or wits end can easily 1v1 him, be careful of 2v2 - 5v5 skirmishes with amumu crowd control.
Neeko
Neeko jungle has a decently fast clear, which is faster than Irelia outside of her On-Hit item spikes on item 1 and 2. Irelia has the statcheck over Neeko at all times, this can become harder when falling behind into Neeko’s magic damage burst / poke pattern. Thereby Irelia has an easy gap closer into Neeko when having access to tenacity especially.
Skarner
Skarner jungle is really strong, due to his HP scaling in terms of damage + Tankiness. Irelia has a slower first clear than Skarner, which will fall into Irelia’s faster clear after obtaining On-Hit items. Irelia has a better statcheck than Skarner on her first item and so on, however… Skarner his Crowd control (a lot of suppressions) HP% burst kit is insanely hard to deal with as Irelia during teamfights, Be aware of this !!!
Master Yi
Master yi jungle has a faster clear speed than Irelia at all times. Irelia has the statcheck over master yi during the early / mid game. However can suffer fairly easily into late game master yi his statcheck → due to Master yi his True Damage On-Hit + attack speed + durability.
Irelia pre-level 6 should be careful of Master Yi his Q invulnerability to make sure to maintain her 4/4 Passive.
Rumble
Rumble jungle has a decent clear, due to his overheated basic attacks. Irelia jungle has a similar clear speed as Rumble, which turns into Irelia's favor on 2 items and then diminishes.
Irelia has higher statcheck than Rumble, however this can be overtaken by Rumble his magic damage burst output and magic %HP. Irelia has strong gap closer on Rumble whenever she gets on top of him, due to Irelia ’s
Dr. Mundo
Mundo Jungle has an insanely fast clear due to his Solo Target Q’s on Monsters. Irelia will find herself having faster jungle clear speed during the mid game.
Irelia will have the statcheck on pre level 6 Mundo, loses it after until Blade of the Ruined King is finished.
*Irelia should try to play around these statchecks to benefit the most from skirmishing or farming*
Yasuo
Yasuo jungle works quite well when early attack speed item(s) are gained, due to the benefit his basic attacks + Q’s give. Irelia has a similar jungle clear as yasuo, which becomes faster for yasuo at 4 items. Irelia has a weaker statcheck into Yasuo, which depends on Yasuo windwall interaction —> Irelia having ambush or/and uninterrupted E and/or R gives her a higher statcheck than Yasuo, otherwise she will not have it.
Nunu & Willump
Nunu has a decent and healthy clear due to his Q. Irelia has a slower clear than Nunu which will turn into favor of Irelia on her On-Hit Item spikes.
Irelia has a higher statcheck than Nunu at all times, unless she's facing AP Nunu with R/W charge value.
Irelia has to try to match or outfarm Nunu’s early game ganking presence.
Irelia can have a hard time facing Tank Nunu, due to nunu his teamfight peel in terms of W knock up and slows and tankiness.
Irelia can have a hard time facing AP Nunu, due to Nunu his insane magic damage burst created by R/W, which Irelia cannot mitigate very well.
Qiyana
Qiyana her first clear is quite bad, Irelia has a better clear speed than Qiyana during the start of the game and Irelia first 2 On-Hit Items. After this point Qiyana clear and burst keep growing over Irelia. Irelia has the statcheck over Qiyana → mitigation and sustained damage check , however Irelia cannot deal with Qiyana her stealth use on Q’s. This double edged sword matchup is mainly decided on map placement(brushes) and teamfight effectiveness.
Nidalee
Nidalee has a decent jungle clear with good health sustain due to her Human E. Irelia has slightly slower clear than Nidalee, which gets faster for Irelia on her completed On-Hit Item(s) —> and diminishes after Irelia’s second item. Irelia has the statcheck and gap closer over Nidalee at all times, except when she falls behind into Nidalee’s Magic Damage Burst.
Evelynn
Evelynn has an equal jungle clear, which diminishes in favor of Irelia on Irelia's On-Hit Damage item(s)
Irelia should try to skirmish early objectives against Evelynn due to her insane early/mid game statcheck difference. Later on Irelia can struggle into Evelynn’s W magic shred burst that can evaporate bruiser builds.
Ekko
Ekko jungle clear is overall faster than Irelia, which gets decided on whomever has a bigger lead during the game. Irelia has way bigger statcheck than Ekko during the early/mid game. Irelia should try to force skirmishes against Ekko before Ekko lvl 6 and on Irelia’s first item spike. Be aware of Ekko’s W and R that are strong Anti-Melee abilities, Ekko W placed on himself can protect him from Irelia - Ekko R can be camped on by Ekko to gain maximum output into Irelia.
Graves
Graves has a faster jungle clear speed than Irelia, which will get closer by Irelia's On-Hit Damage item(s).

Irelia has to be aware of Vi’s insane crowd control output and frontline+mobility, which out values Irelia her crowd control.
Taric
Taric has a decent clear, however lacks a bit of AOE and mobility. Irelia has a faster clear speed on her On-Hit item spikes. Irelia has a mixed damage pattern, and thereby overcomes tanks in statcheck, like Taric the armor tank. Tarics kit is insanely strong into hard engage, due to his armor tether + 2 cones stuns + Full immunity bubble(s). Irelia has to be aware of those cooldowns and make decisions accordingly to the abilities of Taric in teamfights —> This can be done with disengage routes for Taric R and Irelia Q on Taric E.
Zed
Zed has a fast clear, due to his Passive execute that has no CD into monsters. Irelia has a way slower clear than Zed at all times. Irelia should try to force skirmishes into Zed jungle, due to her insanely higher statcheck into Zed. However Irelia struggles gaining a gap closer into Zed, his Shadow blinks on W / R.
Pantheon
Pantheon jungle has a decently strong clear paired with good ganks and dueling power.
Irelia has a similar clear which will be slightly faster on her first and second On-Hit Item spike. pre-level 6, Irelia and pantheon share similar statchecks, pantheon has a stronger trading pattern —> Irelia has a stronger all in statcheck + Gap Closer.
Irelia level 6+ will always have a stronger statcheck than Pantheon level 6+ due to the trade of ults. Irelia has to be aware of Pantheon his point to click crowd control, Global Ult paired with amazing damage immunity on E shield, which outvalue frontline / value in certain fights over Irelia.
Urgot
Urgot has a strong early clear due to his Passive shotguns, however lacks consistent damage and mobility later on. Irelia has a faster clearspeed than Urgot on her finished On-Hit items and after those. Ambessa
Ambessa Jungle has a better early game which will diminish on Irelia’s On-Hit item purchases. Irelia has a stronger statcheck than Ambessa when Irelia + hits Ambessa pre-level 6. After level 6, Irelia gains easier access to use W for damage reduction while maintaining her Passive 4/4, due to irelia R, resulting Irelia winning over Ambessa.
Brand
Brand has a faster clear speed than Irelia at all times. Thereby Brand and Irelia share a similar powercurve through mid game. Irelia’s teamfighting and all-in statcheck is insanely higher than brand and should be taken advantage over in this matchup. Forcing fights as Irelia is recommended in this matchup.
Irelia’s quick hard engage is quite good into brand’s second spell (Q) is crowd control response.
Sejuani
Sejuani has a good jungle clear due to her E and W output. Sejuani clears jungle faster early game but it will diminish and get into favor of Irelia.

Aurelion Sol
Aurelion Sol jungle has a similar clear speed as Irelia early on, which will diminish on Irelia's On-Hit Damage item(s). However… increases due to Aurelion Sol his insane late game scaling. Irelia maintains the statcheck at all times during the early to late-mid game. However, loses it into Aurelion Sol late game. Irelia should try to aim for early objectives / skirmishes and close the game early on.
Hecarim
Hecarim clears jungle slightly faster, which will favor Irelia on her On-Hit Damage item(s).
Irelia has the statcheck over hecarim at all times, unless Hecarim starts with many Q stacks before the fight —> when this occurs item advantages mostly decide who has the statcheck.
Xin Zhao
Xin zhao has an amazing jungle clear through E attack speed W aoe paired with Q CDR.
Irelia has a slower jungle clear than Xin Zhao, until Irelia secures her first full On-Hit item.
Irelia has a stronger statcheck than Xin Zhao, this is gained through perfect Irelia W mitigation and 4/4 Passive uptime —> This is hard to get pre-level 6.
Irelia has to be aware of Xin Zhao his Mitigation on R in team fights, which prevents more damage than Irelia on the front line.
Jarvan IV
arvan IV clears jungle faster early on, which will favor Irelia on her On-Hit Damage item(s) during the mid game.
Irelia has the statcheck over Jarvan IV at all times, this is mostly due to Irelia W her amazing physical damage reduction on into Jarvan his bruiser burst of Passive and E/Q/R.
However, Jarvan IV his E/Q combo has a far range paired with knock up, allowing Jarvan IV to easily take or not take fights into Irelia.
Nocturne
Nocturne has a pretty good jungle clear, Irelia has a slower jungle clear until her finished On-Hit items are online. Pre-level 6 Irelia has a hard time to statcheck and gap close Nocturne —> Due to Nocturne his spell shield denying Irelia 4/4 Passive and Nocturne E being in an awkward spot for Irelia her 2 Q's Dash only combo(setting Irelia away from Nocturnes escape route)
Irelia jungle her goal is to force skirmishes and predict Nocturne his R pattern, Irelia her statcheck outperforms Nocturne very hard.
Camille
Irelia jungle has an equal jungle clear speed with Camille, which will increase on Irelia’s On-Hit Damage item(s)
Irelia has a strong statcheck into Camille her Q’s rotations early/mid game, which will diminish when Irelia has to start building defensive / offensive + defensive items during the late game.
Lee Sin
Lee Sin has a good jungle clear paired with strong statcheck + health return, due to his W(2) paired with Passive attack speed. Irelia has a slower jungle clear than Lee Sin which will become faster on her Irelia On-Hit Damage item(s).
Irelia’s statcheck is slightly higher than Lee Sin, however Irelia has to make sure to keep her gap closer with Irelia Q to stay behind Lee Sin his R knock back(this will bait Irelia into Lee Sin his escape route).
Viego
Viego has a nice clear due to his On-Hit output due to Q/Passive paired with healing. Irelia has a slower clear than Viego, which gets very similar to Irelia her On-Hit items clear.
Irelia has a stronger statcheck than Viego and has a strong gap closer on him, which can be hard to gain into Viego R over walls. However Viego can be more impactful due to his Mist Wraith soul claim in the early/mid game than Irelia, which should be prevented. —> If so Irelia has an insanely stronger output than Viego.
Rek'Sai
Rek’Sai has a decent jungle clear with strong early game statcheck, Irelia has a slower jungle clear early game, which will become faster through the early mid game and so on.
Irelia is strong into Rek’Sai due to Irelia W mitigation + statcheck. However, Irelia jungle has to make sure to cover the pressure from Rek’Sai early game impact, while maintaining a powerfarm early on.

Nautilus has a decently fast clear, however Irelia out curves his jungle clear speed after the first clear hard. Irelia has statcheck over Nautilus at all times, however has to be aware of dealing with Nautilus his crowd control and front lining in teamfights.
Shyvana
Shyvana has a strong clear due to her E On-Hit + Q uptime and W aoe. Irelia has a slower clear than AP and AD Shyvana unless Irelia has a lead.
Irelia has a very strong statcheck over Shyvana during the early/mid game, when ahead-even. Irelia should use this to her advantage to create a lead over Shyvana the AFK farming jungler.
Rengar
Rengar has a decently slow 3 camp start clear, which gets faster due to the availability of all abilities paired with Passive. Irelia has a similar clear speed as Rengar, which favors Rengar after Irelia’s second item. Irelia has an insanely stronger statcheck than Rengar when Irelia's W is timed well on Rengar Q(‘s). However Irelia has to be aware of bursting all of her damage instantly, due to Rengar W mitigation in terms of healing.
Sylas
Sylas jungle is decent. Just like Irelia, Sylas has a pretty bad first clear, which becomes way better due to levels and CDR + AP gains. Irelia has a similar jungle clear as Sylas at all times. Irelia has the statcheck over Sylas(Sylas with Irelia R) at the early- and mid game, which is also unknown due to the function of (having a strong) Sylas R —> Sylas his kit is based around cooldowns(trading pattern) + (Burst + Consistent damage through Sylas Passive) which can be hard to deal with since its magic damage burst for Irelia.
Alistar
Irelia has stronger jungle clear and statcheck than Alistar through the entire game, however Alistar his crowd control and knockback can disrupt Irelia her all-in very and Q’s hard. Be aware of this during 2v2 - 5v5 skirmishes.
Singed
Singed jungle clear is decent at best, which becomes better on his burn item spikes. Irelia and singed have similar jungle clear speeds, however Irelia overcomes Singed clear on her On-Hit item finished items.
Irelia has a far higher statcheck than Singed, however has to be aware to not *chase* Singed too far(Irelia Q allows her too often) and Singed his Grounding + Fling crowd control during teamfights.
Twisted Fate
Twisted Fate has a decent jungle clear paired with strong jungle ganks. Irelia has a faster jungle clear than Twisted Fate on her first On-Hit item(s). Irelia will always have the statcheck over Twisted fate, however she needs enough tenacity / anti crowd control to be capable of gaining a successful gap closer and output out.
Irelia has to be aware of Twisted Fate maxed W crowd control + Rapid Fire long ranged stuns, paired with follow up.
K'Sante
K’Sante has a similar early clear as Irelia, which will turn in favor of Irelia on her On-Hit Damage item(s), due to K’Sante his decently high Q CD based on Magic Resist and Armor.
K’Sante statcheck is very high, which has a very adaptive kit into certain enemies, due to his
(ALL - OUT)R making him capable of being a strong melee fighter or a tank at choice.
Overall Irelia does very well into K’Sante Tank, which converts K’Sante melee fighter versus Irelia with an advantage, due to its negative side effect on fast usage.
Sion
Sion jungle is quite decent, due to his Q charge and W Passive / Active.
Irelia jungle has a stronger clear than Sion on her second clear – till 2 On-Hit items, Diminishing forward on here. Irelia has good statcheck into Sion at all times, however can suffer into Sion his late game scaling and strong frontline.
Jayce
Jayce jungle has a similar early clear speed as Irelia, which will turn in favor of Irelia on her On-Hit Damage item(s).
Irelia has the statcheck over jayce at all times, thereby Irelia can gapcloser Jayce his disengage very easily —> Irelia Q Dash denies Jayce Hammer E disengage, due to Irelia getting knocked back into jayce his escape route.
Zyra
Irelia Hardcounters Zyra, due to Irelias statcheck paired with Plantkilling on Irelia Q. However Zyra's speedclear is insanely fast compared to irelia's clear. Irelia should try to skirmish Zyra whenever she can to form a solid lead.
Naafiri
Naafiri is a physical damage cooldown depended assassin with pets, Irelia's W physical mitigation paired with Irelia Q's on Naafiri pets makes her the ultimate counter.
Naafiri clear is faster but diminishes into irelia's On-Hit item spike clear.
Malzahar
Malzahar jungle has a pretty poor clear until he finishes a *burn* item. Irelia out curves Malzahar jungle fairly easily, thereby Irelia has the statcheck over Malzahar at all times.
However Irelia has to be aware to face Malzahar with teammates due to his 2.5 seconds suppression R ability.
Yorick
Yorick is a physical damage dealing bruiser with pets, Irelia's W physical mitigation into Yorick E + Q paired with Irelia Q's on Yorick pets makes her the ultimate counter.
Yorick jungle is decent, due to his pet and basic + Q attacks. Irelia has a faster jungle clear than yorick after her first clear. Irelia has a really easy gap closer into Yorick, due to her Q’s on Yorick Mist Walker(s) and ignoring Yorick W. Thereby Irelia has high statcheck into Yorick, due to gaining free benefits and removal of Yorick Mist Walker(s) and sustained damage output into short trade Yorick damage.
Zeri
Zeri has a decent clear(basic attack oriented) especially upon gaining more items.
Irelia has a similar clear to Zeri, both of them have similar power spikes on items as well. However Zeri clear speed becomes faster on items 4/5/6. Irelia has statcheck over Zeri during the early/mid game at all times. however gap closer can be hard to gain when Zeri has access to *big* Walls.
Kai'Sa
Kai’Sa has many builds that work, overall seen On-Hit attack speed builds as AP or AD deliver a decent jungle clear for Kai’Sa. Kaisa and Irelia have similar jungle clear speed at all times.
Irelia has the statcheck over Kaisa at all times, however Irelia can struggle into Kaisa late game E-stealth mobility + R statcheck. due to her outscaling Irelia.
Aatrox
Irelia has a good matchup into aatrox jungle, she has similar early clear as aatrox, which gets stronger than him on her On-Hit items. Irelia has statcheck against Aatrox at level 3+.
Yone
Yone jungle works quite well when early attack speed item(s) are gained, due to the benefit his basic attacks + Q’s give. Irelia has a similar jungle clear as yone, which becomes faster for yone at 4 items. Irelia has a stronger statcheck into Yone, due to her physical mitigation and sustained output. Irelia has to be aware of Yone late game output and crowd control difference.
Twitch
Twitch has a decent jungle clear paired with super strong ganks, due to his stealth gap closer. Irelia has a faster jungle clear than Twitch on her first On-Hit item(s). Thereby Irelia has strong statcheck and gap closer into Twitch at all times —> This could be hard against late game twitch statcheck paired with Twitch R range.
Ezreal
Ezreal has an equal jungle clear, which diminishes in favor for Irelia on Irelia's On-Hit Damage item(s). Irelia always has the statcheck and gap closer into Ezreal, due to her bruiser kit + items paired with Irelia’s Q's into Ezreal E escape.
Lucian
Lucian has quite a strong jungle clear and consistent damage later on. Irelia has a similar jungle clear speed as Lucian. However Irelia has a way bigger statcheck paired with an easy gap closer into lucian at all times during the game —> However Irelia has to be aware of not missing Irelia E pre-level 6 against Lucian E.
Akshan
Irelia will outphase Akshan Jungle very hard after her first clear, whilst always having the *statcheck* over him.
Irelia is good into Akshan due to her Q Gap closer paired with statcheck. thereby Irelia W mitigates most of Akshan his Physical Burst.
Caitlyn
Irelia jungle has an equal jungle clear speed with caitlyn, which will increase on Irelia’s On-Hit Damage item(s)
Irelia’s has statcheck and gap closer over Caitlyn at all times, however be careful of Caitlyn traps that are pre-setup or placed on Unit reset’s irelia Q's.
Cho'Gath
Cho’Gath’s jungle clear speed is slightly fast, but diminishes on Irelia's On-Hit Damage item(s). Irelia is strong into Cho’Gath, due to her bruiser durability paired with %hp damage from Blade of the Ruined King into Cho’Gath. Thereby she can easily get on top of cho’gath due to her dashes and mobility.

Adaptive Mindset + Short Note + FAQ + Updates
Think Adaptive on every decision. There is a reason why we take this for that.
(Threats show one of the hardest matchups we can possible face (Doesn't have to be in the Jungle) --- Synergy is formed by having AP damage + CC + hard engage + Value from heal / shields / any damage buff effects / removal of Crowd Control / Gap Closer.
This Guide contains;
Jungle Clear Videos + Jungle and basic macro / Adaptive template of item Builds / All matchups in the game(not yet) / Irelia Combo's + videos
FAQ:
- Does this build work outside of Jungle ?
Yes it does, however you want to lean more into Blade of the Ruined King for its lifesteal in lane.
