I think bitpik pretty much said everything I would've said. However, you get GA way too lately. It should be the item RIGHT AFTER trinity force for most cases. You also shouldn't be getting a Youumu's Ghostblade so late game, as if you were getting it for the armor pen, it becomes almost negligible, so last whisper would be the dominant choice. If you wanted it for the AS, there are more pro efficient items. For your skill sequence, I recommend getting equilibrium strike first, to prevent super early ganks from junglers, and so you can use the stun+1 AA combo. I would also recommend you to begin using Ignite+Flash, unless they nerf it to oblivion in S3. I recommend you also improve your coding for your guide, such as including the use of columns. I would personally also enjoy if you centered certain things.

good luck on your guide.

First of all GA ,if should be made earlier, it shouldn't be made before Wit's End as it is a vital item for Relly's W to work properly. At lvl 1 Equilibrium is just a waste of mana because the stun is small, and the moment you use it the enemy will most probably turn and run (we are talking about lvl 1 exchanges) so hiten is stil best for me. And super early ganks shouldn't be a problem due to Ionian Fervor. Armor pen and CDR are always useful,as well as extra AS when you activate Youmuuu's Ghostblade. I pointed out that Ignite is usefull not versus all foes. Vs Darius what would help you kill him? Ignite or exhaust. Ignite must not be take versus other burst casters. It is mostly a tool for stopping Heal and mundo and volibear's spells.I would replace Youmuu's Ghostblade but only for an Atma's Impaler and Warmog's Armor combo. For the coding I do agree. I will take some time into it

I like this guide, but i have a few tips that can maybe help you out a bit.
  • While Hiten Style is undenyably the best ability to max first it really doesnt provide much level 1. Hiten Style is very reliant on either the stun from Equilibrium Strike or the on-hit and autoattack reset from Bladesurge. Without having any good tools for trading, especially 0 tools to engage or disengage(which Hiten Style doesnt provide) its very easy to take free harass earlygame.
  • Maybe you should try out going 9-14-7 or 14-9-7 in masteries if you are having mana problems as Irelia and pick up 3 points in Meditation . A lot of pro players do this.
  • Indomitable is one of the best masteries in the game. I think you should trade 2 points in the magic resist for this. The reason to why Indomitable is so amazing is that creeps deal a big amount of damage early, and it reduces that damage by a huge amount.
  • Why go +4 magic resist instead of 10% crit damage and 6% more damage on enemies with 40% health or less? You can still take Indomitable but +4 magic resist seems a bit pointless to me.
  • While i do like your abilities section and the layout of it i think it would be much easier to read if you didnt have two bars for each ability. What i mean by that is that you should only have

    Sometimes this spell stuns

    instead of

    This spell stuns them sometimes.

Atleast since the bars are so big and stand out with their color.

anyways good luck with your guide.

Your tips have been taken under attention.
I still preffer Hiten Style on lvl 1 because the passive can help you a bit if they manage to damage you with a skillshot or smth. Besides in early game exchanges it is the dominating spell. Mana Potion solves mana starves adn you don't even need a 3rd HP pot because of Relly's naturally high HP regen and W. I will consider Indomitable and will start working on layout ASAP. Adding your name to credits :3. thx

Really nice build and understandable explanation. I think you should include gold items such as philosopher's stone or heart of gold because they work perfectly when you are losing your lane.

Did it a while ago actuarly. Look at item discussion :3.

Thx to quinik for randuin's omen idea. I added it in item alternatives. As for Frozen Mallet I do not like having both it and Trinity Force . I build yoummuu's for the CDR,Armor pen and crit. As well as the unique active. If you read further down you will see that Bladesurge acts like an auto attack and extends the unique active of Youmuu's Ghostblade uppon hitting a target. It is a very underrated item. Although thx for the tips, much appreciated.

Hi summoner!
i liked your guide! :-) a lot of info and tips and tickets really nice.
but, i would say that when you get your Sunfire Cape it would be to late to have it.
maybe trade it out with something else like randuin' Omen or force of nature.

overall a good guide :-)

I like your guide, however I do have to point out a few things:
Frozen Mallet would be a more viable item choice than Sunfire Aegis simply because it offers 2 things that sunfire cape doesnt:
1)Considerably more HP
2)A slow
sunfire cape is usually an item for tanks that cant deal considerable amount of damage, however this is not the case for Irelia

Im also going to assume that you're aiming to dominate mid/late game and for that reason I strongly suggest you don't consider building Youmuu's Ghostblade for this reason.

Again your guide was really well done you should be proud!

Youmuu's Ghostblade is an early game item and gets outclassed by every item in its class late game. Since Irelia needs to rush Trinity Force ASAP there is no hope for Youmuu's Ghostblade. At best it's a Tier 2 item.

FUUUU ., I messed that up,nordic and east. Sry I will fix it right away. Anyhow thx for the tips about the BB code. I realy had no idea how to do the buttons. I needed help and lacked advice but i will try and fix it asap. About randuins, shurelya and fon, at one point I said that irelia must not be treated with tank items for she is not a main tank. I believe that Guradian Angel provides enough defenses for her, considering her main Pro is BURST and she needs every item to make that one burst as big as possible. I take GA and Sunfire because she does need survivability in a teamfight. Thank you all for the constructive criticism. I will take your notes under my attention.
