Welcome to my Trundle guide. I've been playing Trundle for some time now, and from my experience he is one of the most fun champions in the game. He's not just a fun champ he's also extremely powerful. Trundle is able to dominate in lane and tower over his enemies. This troll is able to fight some of the strongest duelist champions and still come out on top. There are not a lot of champions that can easily beat him.

Trundle makes a fantastic top laner because of his great sustain and amazing dueling potential. Farming as Trundle is pretty simple you auto attack and use your Q Chomp. If you need to, zone out your lane opponent using, E Pillar of Ice and W, Frozen Domain. Trundle has good sustain due to his passive, King's Tribute, and if you combine it with his W, Frozen Domain it becomes even better. Once you reach level 6 and get your ultimate it's time to quite literally make your lane opponent your *****. There's a reason Trundle's R, Subjugate makes you bigger and better than everyone else. Once you reach level 6 try to engage the enemy because you'll most likely come out on top if you have enough mana to use all of your abilities.

Titanic Hydra is a great item on Trundle it allows him to get more auto attacks off in quick succession, it also gives him great tank stats and great damage. I choose Titanic Hydra rather than Ravenous Hydra because tankier Trundle is a better Trundle.

Sunfire Cape gives Trundle armor and health to help fight against AD top laners. Trundle gets up close and personal and sticks to his enemy, it adds great damage and gives him even better dueling/trading potential.

Spirit Visage is a must buy on trundle not only does it give you CDR, HP regen, MR, it also increases Trundles self healing. Spirit Visage combined with Trundles passive King's Tribute and his W Frozen Domain gives him massive healing ability.

Randuin's Omen is great for fighting champions with high attack speed and crit, it allows him to out trade champions like Jax, Xin Zhao, and others. This item also helps you chase better with its devastating slow and helps fight ADC's who rely on crit.

Dead Man's Plate is a great item for our troll because it gives him great tank stats and improves his already great mobility.

I usually pick Mercury's Treads because it gives you the little bit of MR you need and tenacity so nothing slows you down. The Captain upgrade is great for Trundle because he's a frontliner, it gives a little bit of mobility to his teammates behind him.

Titanic Hydra is a great item on Trundle it allows him to get more auto attacks off in quick succession, it also gives him great tank stats and great damage. I choose Titanic Hydra rather than Ravenous Hydra because tankier Trundle is a better Trundle.
