Introduction
*I've return to update my guide, I still have not finished, but I've included the lvl 1 teleport trick for top laners and a new fresh build for Jaximus.
Pros:
-Huge damage
-His
can be used as a free flash
-Very viable in solo queues
-It's Jax
Cons:
-Kind of squishy at early levels
-Item reliant
-Easy to play, fast to learn, but need balls to play him
-You'll need to time your E, which is, in my opinion, the hardest thing to do when you first play Jax, but you'll eventually learn what to do in different situations.

Let's begin with some descriptions. Jax is a melee tanky dps OR a full****** glass cannon helicopter who can just one shot anyone by smacking his big lantern to their face. His main role is to get very big, and hopefully snowball until late game. Jax is one of the most powerful late game champions. He scales perfectly with items and levels. Only a few champions can actually 1v1 him at late game.

The reason why it is way better to take Tp instead of Ignite now is because with Jax, you can start E, then do a jungle camp (wolves or raptors) at lvl 1 to get lvl 2 faster than your lane opponent. After your camp, you recall back to base, buy some pots to sustain and a ward if needed, then you Tp back to lane with something like
Doran's Blade, 5
Health Potion, and one
Mana Potion.
Note: DO NOT USE ANY POTION DURING YOUR FIGHT WITH THE WOLVES OR RAPTORS IF YOU TOOK A
Doran's Blade or
Doran's Shield, IT IS NOT NECESSARY! If you are doing raptors, kill the small ones first or you'll die.

Against ranged:
Always start with your
. This is the safest skill to take level 1 and if you are good enough or if your opponent is dumb enough, he will try to 1v1 you at lvl 1. As long as the opponent's minions are targeting you, your
will stack, and you will deal tons of damage. Also remember that your
blocks all the auto attacks from your opponent.
At lvl 2, you will need to put one point in your
. This can help you escape lvl 2 ganks or all in your opponent. If you get lvl 2 before your opponent,
him once, auto attack him in his minions so they target you, activate your
to soak up all the auto attacks from the minions and your opponent, then reactivate your
if your opponent is running from you. If he is not, just keep trading and hopefully get a kill or burn his flash.
I highly recommend maxing your
for high burst, then your
and lastly your
, and of course put a point in your
every time you can. However, if you are against a ranged champion, you should probably max your
to all in him.

Laning phase with Jax is quite easy. All you really need to do is just farm until late game and dominate. Ask ganks from your jungler if you can't handle your lane. You also need buy a lot of wards to prevent ganks from the other jungler. Always remember this: if you die, your opponent gets gold/experience from your death AND gold/experience from the free farm he'll get. Call it law of solo queue:"If you want to win, don't die."
After level 6, you can do a very deadly combo. You just need to auto attack a minion twice then
to your enemy auto attack him to proc your
and you can immediately auto attack him again by using your
which will reset your auto attack animation.

What I mean by post-laning phase is when your opponent goes group with his team to push. By that time, you should have a few items. Now your role is to split push and get global gold for your team. Stay top lane, farm, take down turrets and force the enemy team to back off to stop you. They will need to send at least 2 or 3 people to stop you, so this is a great chance for your team to get turrets or dragon.
Jax is a secondary initiator. Do not engage any team fights by yourself because you are a HUGE source of damage. Once the fight is engaged, you need to jump on the carries and burst them down. Once you've done that, you pretty much won the fight. Now if you are still alive, clean up the other enemies.
