Its really hard for me to find Cons, because imo

When u play vs AD champion like
Riven,
Garen,
Renekton etc.. Best rune choice is :
Precision
Fleet Footwork
Phase Rush
When u play vs AP champion like
Vladimir,
Elise,
Akali,
Kennen etc.. Best rune choice is :
Precision
Fleet Footwork
Phase Rush
And universal rune page that you can play vs EVERY match-up you get top, and you don't have to waste 2 runepages. I use them.

Phase Rush
This runes are really typical for ad bruiser (jax deals mostly physical damage). There is nothing to comment in my opinion. Some guys take per level magic resist but imo its not the best way because u need that sort of magic resist early unless you are facing and opponent that does hybrid damage (like Jayce) or an ap jungler in opposite team (like Fiddlesticks).

The most versatile spell in the whole game, it have multiple use for offense and defense. Allows you to succesfully run from a gank, or engage an enemy. |
Ignite is offensive spell that allows you to finish of your enemy and reduce healing he does by 50% which is quite a lot vs champs like ![]() ![]() |
Also viable due to many teamplays it allows you to make. This spell gives you global presence around whole map, however you have to worry about your lane, because when you use your teleport, your enemy will probably start pushing. Many people say "camp bot - win game" I think it is true. |

Build #2 vs. AP BASED CHAMPS (

Leveling skills as jax is really simple, so as jax your main source of damage is your

How u use your spells? It's quite simple :
"W" is your main damage source u spam it everytime, all day all night. Remember to engage when you got your passive stacked or nearly stacked it means a lot since jax co-operate with attack speed so well.
"Q" is your gapcloser its REALLY OP because it allows you to jump to other champs , wards (its always good to have a one in your equipment for better escape, same as Lee Sin) and minions.
"E" is really important, mostly in fights at low levels - you want to use it when your enemy is hitting you with autoattacks, it makes you invulnerable to all physical attacks done to you in this 2 seconds. U also have to know that when they hit you during CounterStrike they will recive higher dmg when its over. It also stun opponents near you. U can use it combined with your "Q" for jump and stun. To my mind becomes an Shy action from World Championship.
"R" just makes you stronger increasing your defensive stats and dmg output take sure to don't waste this skill since its cooldown is quite long :)

At laning phase your mission is to last hit as much minions as its possible. U can use your "W" for better lasthits if u need it, just always keep in mind that you need mana for potential engage or escape, so don't waste it like an ****** =).
When you are facing meele, you can easy fight at level 1. You can just activate e and rush at enemy, minions will start hitting you, and in the same moment those minions will maximize damage you deal with e, your passive will grant you more attack speed. Generaly you can bet most meele autoattacking-based champs in that way at level 1 (like Riven,Irelia etc.) - I really made a lot of first bloods. At first recall u should buy at least 2 dorans, health potions(remember to have them at early levels) and Coutlass(or on second recall with phage). Unless you got those 2 items your enemy will be suffering hard times because he will be insta slowed.
When you are fighting against something like Jayce or Teemo I usually start fighting at level 4-5, but always try to play safe and farm - its key to victory. It's not like kills are the most important, ofc if u get some it would be great but in my opinion getting a kill (especially after first blood) isnt worth dieing - remember that. After level u can hit minion 2 times then q to your enemy and w him at the same time - it will deal significant damage ;)
From my and other players experience, I recommend always warding river and optionally tribush. But river is a must. Always watch the minimap, and look forward to help your teammates its really rewarding to you and your team in solo queue its the way to win.
Here is example of good Jax gameplay vs Malphite (considered as a counter to jax lookin at THIS) by Wingsofdeathx on really high elo. At beginning he is playing really aggresive since he is really experienced and know how to escape ganks, but beginner should play more carefully but its always good to watch how more experienced guys play.

Generally in Team-Fights your role is to be bruiser. Bruiser means kill carries. After u got
Trinity Force,
Hextech Gunblade and
Guardian Angel u just jump like a ****** into 5 man with activated ultimate and destroy everything starting from ad and ap carry :) Try to remember u are offtank and u should take damage, so dont run unless u are really going to die in tf. Jax is pure late game champ, so it's the time you will shine and dime ;D unless you don't ruined your laning phase (like being 50 minions or more outfarmed lol). You should really enjoy because you become a BEAST late.

I just wanna say that this guide is under construction and if u down vote please leave me some constructive criticism. I would be really glad to improve my skills along with updating this guide :) I will upgrade visual site and post some more videos.
And remember.. jax is not champ its the state of mind lol
