DAT BUFF DOE! (Made him even stronker! - 4.6 Patch) Hello, all. This is my Rengar build guide. I prefer him in the jungle and that is why I only made a guide for that. I also think he is more utility since his rework. Will probably end up making a top guide for him to since he is one of my mains. But as of right now I think he is better off in the jungle. Reasons being, all kills and assists count as 1 stack into your bonetooth trinket. He has good sustain and clear. His rework was to kind of stop him from blowing one champ up and then being blown up right away as well. He is now more durable in team fights and has all around lower cooldowns. Savagery is the only skill that has cooldown reduction that decreases per level. Keep reading on for explanations on skills, runes, masteries, etc.

Pros:

+ Still has high burst damage
+ Now has more team fight presence
+ Tankier since reworked (Bruiser)
+ Duelist
+ Assassin
+ Good clearing

Cons:

- Bad lvl 1
- Less burst since rework
- Takes a while to ult and go invisible
- Barely any escapes (Use the bushes Luke)

greater mark of armor penetration Armor penetration is more of a mid to late game contribution.

Standard armor seal you would most likely take on any other champion.

At least 6 of these are a must to keep your spam hand strong.

Spells

You are jungling, aren't you?

Standard escape and chase utility.

Alternatives

More of a YOLO and gutsy spell to take, great synergy with the ulty though.

Not recommended at all. Very ballsy. Youmuu's would be essential if you were to take this spell.

Ballsy spell, good for counter jungle.

GENERAL SKILL SEQUENCE:

You want to max your Savagery first, then balance out Battle Roar and Bola Strike for utility.

If you were to go for straight burst you would want to max your Bola Strike second before the Battle Roar.

1v1 & Assassination Situations

Riven HARD! Very hard to all in a fed or at equal terms with Riven. Try casting Battle Roar right before she jumps on you to take minimal damage. You want to bait her Ki Burst before you try to all in her. And only fight when you have 4-5 stacks of Ferocity up and possibly an ult or bush advantage. Or you can yolo it and just attempt to 1 shot her.

Could add more later but, knowledge on champions you are opposing is an essential whilst playing RENGAR.
