Hi! I'm Marcelo "DoViso" Silva, I'm a League of Legends Amateur player and currently I'm Diamond V.
At the moment, I play in one of the best League of Legends Academies in Portugal, a Multigaming called FOR THE WIN ESPORTS.
My main role is AD Carry and my favourite Champions are Kalista, Vayne and Draven.

I decided to write this guide because, on the last few days, so many people started to asking me how to play, what to build and which are the best matchups with Kalista, so I decided to write this little guide to share with those people and of course with you all. :)

PROS:
[*] Farming is easy because of your E - Rend;
[*] It's very easy to dodge skills because Kalista is very mobile;
[*] Awesome Kiter and Chaser;
[*] Saving your Soul-Bounded team mate is pretty easy, just press R - Fate's Call.

CONS:
[*] Very Squishy;
[*] Pretty hard to mastery her;
[*] Weak Early Game (lvl 1, 2 & 3);
[*] Hard CC shuts Kalista down pretty easy;
[*] Kalista IS NOT a 1v1 Champion.

Trading with Kalista is pretty hard before having your "First Back", especially when you are facing strong champions against her.
If you want to trade and try to win it before your "First Back", you'll need to poke your enemies using your E - Rend, but you'll need to pay attention to a detail, if E - Rend scores a kill (creep, jungle creep or champion kill), the cooldown is refreshed and refunds 20 mana for each target killed, up to 40 mana, so try to put the CS low using Basic Attacks on them and on your Enemies too and then, when the CS is low, press E - Rend and voilà, you are poking, farming and recovering a part of the mana that you spent trading so, you can do it again and again until you win the trade before going back for the first time in the game.
After your "First Back" in the game, everything becomes much more easier, especially when you have a Bilgewater Cutlass and a little bit of Attack Speed, trading becomes much more easier because now you can go for faster trades and burst your enemies much more faster.

Always try to buy a Bilgewater Cutlass and Boots of Speed on you first recall. If you have enough money, a Dagger would be great too.

After building up your Blade of the Ruined King and your Berserker's Greaves, you'll need some damage so, you should build a Bloodthirster, that'll give you everything you need, damage and sustain.

Now that you have a bunch of AS, AD and Life Steal, it's time to make your team proud and start to make the enemy team cry >:D. Build a Runaan's Hurricane and spread your damage on the fights ;).

Kalista is one of the best Late Game AD Carries because of her E - Rend, but this is not enough, you'll need to penetrate on those ******s! >:D
Get a Last Whisper ASAP and start to build your defensive item, believe me, you'll need it!
WARNING: As you know, Kalista is very weak when we talk about Crowd Control, and now you ask me - "What's the best item against Crowd Control?" - The answer is Banshee's Veil!

When you're playing Kalista, team fighting is not that easy, because you need to have a pretty good positioning skill and a bit of protection from your team aswell.
Kalista is a very good engager. With her R - Fate's Call, Kalista is very good engaging or also getting picks.
Kalista is pretty like Katarina when we talk about team fighting. Kalista needs to wait for the enemie's hard CC and then, she can go in and kill everyone spreading his damage basic attacking with Runaan's Hurricane help and then burst'em with her E - Rend.
