Champion Build Guide
You can play with any ADC. Samira and other low synergies can work, but the lane will depend on your poke, so you gotta be very good at Karma when in these pairs
Don't buy moonstone pls
Don't buy ardent censor pls
^^^ I gues this is just my bias of not liking these items on karma but if you really want to play as an enchanter for hypercarries i would recommend just go either lulu /yuumi/renata etc over a karma full enchanter build.
PLEASE read the mandate / bodyguard section before trying these builds!
e.g if the adc has refillable / 3 pots and biscuits it may be better to go for the supp.
Senna - she will always heal herself when she Q's so probably better to go for the adc even if they have the sustain because they wont always recieve the heal
Soraka - you should have enough mana now with the Q buffs to shield yourself every time soraka Q's so you can dodge it and then Q her back and focus her with the poke
Shielders (janna lulu etc) - F EM UP!!! (its quite easy to bait out their shields just by walking up looking like you will Q) if they shield themself then just go for the adc
Healers (nami, sona, bard etc) - I personally just focus the healer no matter what because for some reason they dont like to heal themselves as much as the adc. You can always adjust as you play if they are spam healing themselves
Yuumi - if you didnt ban her for some reason: 1. good luck xd 2. obviously just spam the fk out of the adc but dont go for anything crazy because if you stay healthy enough you have so much potential to 2v3 when u get ganked! if you have poked decently enough she will be low on mana and hopefully you have damaged the adc even like 20% is pretty good. I can't really tell you how to execute the 2v3 because it will never be the same situation and if you aren't confident theres no way you should HAVE to take the fight just back off.
not really worth trying to W yuumi when she hops out for an auto it takes too long unless she is somehow crazy over extended greeding for it?
Renata - shes pretty difficult to play into but thats just for your early laning so its still ok to pick karma into this you just have to be aware that if you are going to focus renata she can very easily bait with her W compared to her ADC who may not know how to utilise the renata W fully. (or maybe i just say this because im a renata W revive GOD :P )
Shurelyas is always going to be the safer and easier option.
But lets be honest, its just always soooo tempting; seeing mandate in the shop, you're ahead in lane, enemies are squishy, you are rich
(or super behind and want to just try 1v9 😂)....
so you think "ooooh ok i'll buy mandate this game!!"
and well... you just feel like an RQ bot for the rest of the game wishing you went Shurelyas
You need to know if you are going to build mandate from champ select.
Mandate can work into lots of different enemy comps, but you need to factor in your team comp too!!! Obviously if you are low AP is a good start. Its good with heavy engage adc's like Trist and Nilah. It is INSANELY good with a heavy front line e.g you have something like Maokai Top and Zac jungle.
This enables karma to unlock her full battle & artillery mage potential :O You can safely spam your Q's and get super fast R resets with your passive and mandate just gives hugeeee damage.
These kind of teamfights are some of the most FUN moments i've ever had on Karma while also gaining that LP :P
Please check the runes tabs #3 and #4 for Mandate build runes. #4 is only really for the Rabadons build, but if you want to switch it up feel free to try!
The builds are self explanatory:
#1 - Rylais for the slows for Guaranteed inner flame hits & well... to slow them
#2 - Void Staff for extra magic pen against any teams stacking MR
#3 - Rabadons for BIG damage. It will do 130% ap damage if inner flame hits!!
Please check out the Ability Order for mandate karma. it is NOT the same as the Shurelyas build!!!
Want to take ghost?
Taking ghost is superrrrr situational and unlikely but there definitely will be a time when you can take it!
To keep it short and simple: Take it if they have 3+ melee champions with no Dash and no CC / kitable CC.
Champs I recommend ghost into:
Darius. DrMundo. Garen. Malphite. Olaf. Ornn. Sett. Singed. Udyr. Viego.
It's also really nice having ghost into Riven who does have dashes & cc, but you can literally run circles around her LOL.
will finish soon :)
Please check the runes tabs #5 #6 and #7 for Bodyguard build runes. #7 is ONLY for the build with the Tear of the goddess
Please check out the Ability Order for bodyguard karma. it is NOT the same as the Shurelyas build!!!
This build is good into assassins and any teams that are not balanced with AP/AD.
You can focus more on using RW for the extra root duration and RE for the shields with this build as you dont get much benefit from RQ late game.
You can still be a good lane bully and poke really hard no matter your runes but comet will just give that extra punch on top, and aery will help with prolonged trades in lane and give big shields late.
Zhonyas is now 3k so it's quite important to take stopwatch rune if you are getting it since every bit of gold off matters for support. Zhonyas is best into AD assassins such as Zed, Talon or Qiyana. Against AP assassins like katarina and akali you can stack enough MR that i dont think buying Zhonyas is worth.
The Core / Lane Bully build are the standard builds if your enemies dont have any heavy sided AP/AD damage, its just down to personaly preference if you want to be tankier and more supportive (core) or if you want to have strong lane damage and be able to continue poking into the mid game while having slightly less peel for your team.
You can build anti heal with this build 2nd item and its up to you if you think Putrifier would be better than Thornmail.
with Thornmail you have to understand you NEED to get attacked by the enemies so it would only be worth into ranged champs that won't one shot you if you get in their range. It's risky BUT the pay off is super high into adcs like kalista, jinx etc that have been healing a lot as they just can barely kill you if you stacked armour.
Putrifier is much safer and reliable to apply the antiheal, but you are less tanky and will probably die if you get caught out where thornmail would've saved you. Putrifier is definitely better into champs like Aatrox, Kled and other big lifestealers that will just one shot if you get close.
