His ult cancels yours, he seems to have more burst than you, as well as the same kit although a tad different. His Q grants him attack speed, his W heals, his E slows, and his R is stealth. Your Q does extra damage, W heals & slows (when passive is proced) E is a leap which is his passive but he needs brush to do it from) and your R is stealth! I've had more problems with Rengar only due to the fact he seems to be more bursty than Kha'Zix even when even. Only engage in a fight with him if he's behind, or you have someone with you and it's a 2 v 1. Preferably someone who can CC!
Yorick
His only counter to you is not allowing your isolation passive to matter because his ghouls act make it so he isn't alone even when he is. Also, his Ghouls allow him to gain lifesteal and make you slower while the third explodes doing burst damage. Not to mentions, he'll be building rather tanky. All signs point to "unfavored".
Tryndamere
His ult mixed with the fact he can out-crit you & have massive amounts of lifesteal should give you one rough time. Anyone who can build enough lifesteal to solo Baron Nashor should be able to take you on 1 v 1 no problem or questions asked.
Volibear
He may be too tanky for you, along with his passive of regenning health rapidly mixed with a Warmogs.. unless he's low and his passive is on CD, I wouldn't bother trying to go after a Volibear.
Lee Sin
Any good Lee Sin player should be able to fly around you and be almost un-hittable. He counters Kha'Zix because his variety of options. If you're close to him, he can Ult you away, if you're thinking of getting away, he can dash to you, slow you, and proceed to attack you while gaining life steal. He is also known to be more bulky than you. This just isn't a good match up.
Nidalee
You should be able to Leap into her and deal enough burst damage to kill her. Her biggest threat are her spears which do damage based on distance traveled, so especially in the early game when she doesn't have AP built up, they can't do too much if she decides to cast them while you're in her face.
Udyr
Like Volibear, he'll be too tanky for you come late game. If you see a Udyr in game, I recommend trying to win and push for towers before he gets sated, either making him come out to help, or forcing your lanes to win by 5 v 4ing until he's ready. Could also counter Jungle, not only to disrupt him, but the more farm you take away from him, the longer it will take him to be sated!
Fiddlesticks
I'm putting the difficulty right in the middle for Fiddles because it depends on the type of player who's playing him. If you catch him after he just used his Q/W/E, than he's yours. If he's waiting for you to jump in and then uses his Q/E, his W is next and you could say bye bye to about 1/2 of your health. This is one where it depends on how good the Fiddlesticks player is.
Zac
Not your best option because mid to late game he will be tanky and harder to take down, and even if you do "kill" him and trigger his passive, you better hope his team isn't around to focus you while you're trying like hell to officially kill him after his passive procs.. And on top of that, he has 2 slows, and a knock up to your one CC move that only works when your passive is proced and your claws are glowing.
Xin Zhao
As of right now in patch 5.19, there's a reason why this champion is God tier. It seems any champions that have attack speed in their kit along with lifesteal will give you a rough time and potentially anxiety.. I don't like this match up. And with a dash, knock up/knock back, and attack speed buff, consider this the "sated" version of Lee Sin.
Sion
This match up will be based on skill. Ultimately, you want to avoid his charged Q's knock up, his throwing minions at you for damage with his E, and his R.. Making the only damage he can do against you auto attacks with the occasional W when it's off cooldown. If you can get in, deal a tone of burst and get out before his Q is charged, W detonates, and make him miss his E/R, than he can't really do much to you! But the reason he's up this high is because you'll need to be flawless in this effort due to his amount of health he'll have mixed with the amount of times you'd need to get in and out before you kill him! If he times it right, every time you rush in, he'll deal damage to you before you rush out too, and he has much more sustain with double your health come late game. This will come down to 1 thing, and that is how flawless can you execute in and out tactics while not hurting yourself and parring his attacks while juking.. He's rated this high due to the skill needed to make it work, and even then, only a small window for reward.
Master Yi
Lets just say that his gap closer will make your E worthless. Try to jump away, he'll catch up. You jump at him, he'll get away while your E is on CD. On top of his, He can dodge hits with his Q when timed right, his E makes it so he deals true damage for a few hits, and if he isn't healing for more damage than you'll do to him with his W, he'll be attacking you double the speed you attack him as well as Critical striking you for about 1/2 of the strikes done (on minimum) which will be about almost 2 a second. He is not fun to deal with, never mind a Sated Yi w/ Static Shiv & Blade of the Ruined King.. He's def on Tryndamere's level of annoying.
Shaco
The clown prince of annoyance will live up to that title only if his summoner has the skill to allow him to, therefore I am putting him only at a 7, but he can definitely be higher on this list if played right. Between his backstab, D.O.T, well placed fear, and deception with his clone.. he could either build critical strike Shaco & not make you realize what hit you, or AP Shaco and have his boxes and or D.O.T poke be your killing blow. Just know that although he's easy to kill if you wait for the right time like any hunter should, if you don't, he can make you pay.
Evelynn
Although her whole shtick is deception and evasiveness, if you counter Jungle her and make her life a living hell by doing so, she shouldn't be too hard of a challange when you sneak up on her because her only play is doing it to others. Give her a taste of her own medicine. On a side note, she can use this to invade you too, so be aware of that.
Fizz
Lets just say if anyone can juke you back, it's Fizz. He can also deal a good amount of burst along with making you miss with his passive, Q & E and ruining your day with his R. He will dance around you and deal damage. This is only up this high due to his potential. If it is someone less experienced on Fizz, he'd be about maybe 2 slots lower, but someone who knows what they're doing and is calculated enough is sure to me marked in this red danger zone with out any questions asked.
Nocturne
If they chose Nocturne w/ Warrior, you will get hit hard, but won't have as bad of a time as Devouring Nocturne. The way I play him, I can land 2.35 hits a second w/ a Bloodthister & or Ravenous Hydra, and hit them while feared. Also could block Kha'Zix W which his own W. What you should do is make him miss his Q's, break the fear by stepping out of range, and while both are on CD, Leap in and hope he isn't attack speed Nocturne w/ Blade of the Ruined King w/ sated deviourer.. because now he's hitting you for twice the effects of B.o.R.K while slicing you 2 times a second for lifesteal w/ a Bloodthirster or Hydra. Warrior Nocturne is a 5/10 danger level when played right, but Devouring Nocturne may be a 7 or 8.
Kha'Zix
To keep it simple.. It depends on who has the better skills as well as if one of you is lower health and is isolated.
Akali
High burst mixed with up to 3 stored dashes makes for a long day with your lack of ability to get away from her if your Leap is on CD. The only thing I could think of was to leap a wall into the fog of war and hope that you can get far enough away from her dash in that second or so she has to drop a ward on the other side of the wall to see you in order to dash to you.
Zed
He has high burst damage, but after he uses his ult and if he's already used his other shadow being his W, he's immobile for the few moments he has unless he had taken Flash. So if he ults someone else, feel free to engage him and you should be able to win; especially when using your stealth and Ravenous Hydra active.
Talon
His ult as well as his poke being his W can really get annoying, as well as his ability to jump behind you being his E. The winner of this fight will be the person who sneak attacks the other. If you're able to hit him, ult and make him miss, hit him again, ult and make him miss again, then hit him with your Ravenous Hydra active, than you should be able to Leap after him, and either maybe slow him as well as heal with your W, and or finish him with your Q, (especially when evolved.) if he isn't dead already!
This was my first champion in League of Legends that I've ever tried because he was free. Oh my god I fell in love with him and the only unfortunate thing about him other than squishy-ness is his IP cost. Other than that, I see him as one of the ideal Junglers due to his Passive allowing you to hit harder when isolated with your opponent; and for this reason, he'll make an awesome counter Jungler too! His Q allows him to hit harder, his W heals as well as being ranged. Unlike Rengar, his E will allow him to leap freely any time he wants. (I recommend always upgrading wings first!) and his Ult is there to help with his slipperiness as well as activate his passive, being that when he's unseen, his next basic attack will deal more damage!
So from a bush you can leap at someone, Q them as well as hit them with Cleave from Ravenous Hydra. Activate your Ult, and then Q them again and W them this time to gain back extra life. If they try running, press E and leap after them as well as pressing R again int he short time you pressed it to not only to proc your passive, but gain a short burst of movement speed while in stealth! That is an example of a basic play made with Kha'Zix.
When to use Kha'Zix
When to use Kha'Zix
- When the other team is using an ADC without a dash like Ashe who is very weak and unable to get away from Kha'Zix. - When the other team has a squishy Jungler that you have the edge over when counter Jungling. *Side Note* I once took down a Shyvanna both at level 3/4 while in river after she got the scuttle crab because she was Isolated and not tanky enough to counter the AD as well as burst damage. Not that a recommend this late game.. but if you stay even or ahead of her, a Last Whisper, Youmuu's, Stalker's Blade w/ Warrior as well as Black Cleaver should be able to help you out seeing that gives you 60-70, maybe 75% Armor Pen (along with the 6 or so Armor Pen marks!) - If you're going to counter Jungle but don't want them to be aware of this (Some champions like Shaco or even Nunu are expected to counter Jungle therefore they'll be looking for you to do so if you pick those champions) Kha'Zix isn't a bad option. I'd just recommend that you allow him to finish the camps first and kill him for the buffs so the camps weaken him, as well as with them gone, he's now considered isolated!
Pros / Cons
Pros / Cons
Pros: 1. Slipperyness w/ your Ult & Leap. 2. Decent burst damage. I'd give it a 7.5 / 8 out of 10. 3. Isolation. This is your bread & butter seeing as an assassin you just want to pick off the weak links preferably when they're by themselves anyway. 4. Double jumping with your Leap and getting it to reset if you kill a target within 1.5 or so seconds after you jump on them. 5. W will give you sustain in the jungle while healing you. 6. Good ganking potential & AWESOME gap closer.
Cons: 1. Needs to snowball to be effective. 2. Mechanically difficult to master for new players. 3. Squishy 4. Not too mana hungry, but when laning, best not to spam your W. 5. Not as burst heavy as one would like. (Champs like Zed, Akali, Rengar, and others are more bursty than he is.) 6. First time wave clear may be difficult due to squishyness.
