Kog Maw is one of my favorite AD carries and he offers a lot to the team in the sense that he has massive range with his activated and doing nice AoE dmg and reveal the enemy. also allows you and your team to take and early baron as long as your jungler gets their wriggles and your team has a strong tank to tank it

There is not a specific build for runes on any champion. I like to use Great Mark of Desolation and Greater Quintessence of Desolation for easier harrassment in lane also armor pen helps so much more in the late game then flat dmg or attk speed (those are viable runes aswell tho)

and (icon=Greater Glyph of Clarity size=32) to give good mana regen so you can spam your ult more

I like 21 offense for standard reasons: magic pen because Kog does lots of Magic dmg, CDR because well who doesnt like using Bio Arcane Barrage more often and the rest is pretty standard and self explanitory

Now I take 6 in Defense for a little more tank in lane and i find that 6 armor and 6 MR helps a lot more then getting more exp from creeps

I take 3 in Utitlty to get that extra mana and health regen to give a little more sustain in the lane

There are a few ways to build Kog Maw you can build him: AP which is ok except he doesn't have the highest Ratios ever, Build him On-Hit with items like and , or you can build him the way I like which is building like a standard AD carry.

i like to take and But and alternative would be getting but i wouldn't get anything other then these and you should always have flash its just to good to not have

In teamfight you want to be in the very back mainly right beside you support if you have one and you want to be spamming your as much as you can and activating whneever it is up

Don't be afraid of flashing over walls af an enemy jumps on you because you are Kog Maw probably the longeset range in the game you can shoot over dat stuff NO PROBLEM
