Leblanc, Insane Mid

Hey, welcome to my first build! This is pretty much a huge burst build for LeBlanc, it doesn't offer a lot of survivability but when you are almost 2 shotting them it really doesnt matter. I hope to see your comments and critique below, and thanks for reading my guide!

IMPORTANT: Please read this WHOLE guide before you decide on if you would like to upvote or downvote. You will see that there is numerous sections tailored for each kind of game style, and I do NOT expect you to build what ive listed every single game. Please read the item choices for more information, and thank you so much for taking the time to read my guide!

Pros / Cons

Pros
-Complete lane domination early till level 10~
-Very good ganker, can easily slip to top or bottom without going unnoticed and get a kill or two.
-Is super mobile, can get away from ganks pretty easy
-INSANE damage dealer throughout the whole game

Cons
-Extremely Squishy
-Targeted first in team fights
-Runs on low mana, so kind of a blue rune dependancy

Runes

Greater Seal of Replenishment

Marks:
Greater Mark of Insight is pretty much needed as it will effect all of LeBlanc's abilities throughout the whole game, this is definitely a preference over Greater Mark of Potency.
Greater Mark of Potency is decent early game, the more ability power you have the more damage you will do, which will force your opponent out of the lane if you are harassing correctly. I honestly don't recommend using Potency, but it's really a user preference.

Seals:
Greater Seal of ReplenishmentGreater Seal of Replenishment is extremely nice for laning power especially with LeBlanc having mana problems throughout the laning phase. These runes combined with a provide some nice mp5 and the ability to harass and stay in your lane longer.
Greater Seal of Potency is another runeset that will get you off to a decent start early game, but without the regen from the Greater Seal of Replenishment you will find yourself running out of mana more than you like.

Glyphs:
Greater Glyph of Force is really nice early and late game, it provides some ability power early game, without sacrificing other stats for late game.
Greater Glyph of Potency is good early game, it's good most of the game actually, but getting the it will help you throughout the whole game with more beneficial stats then Potency.

Quintessences:
Greater Quintessence of Potency is really nice because this is where you will get a lot of your ability power from. With your tome / health power you will be starting the game with about 37 AP, which is nice for pushing mid and having that extra AP for ganks.
Greater Quintessence of Fortitude is great for surviving early game, but really provide a minuscule amount of health late game, so if you are finding yourself not being able to survive the early / mid game you might want to try these!

Summoner Spells

Teleport- You want to be in your lane as much as possible, really allows you to be a little more reckless with your mana if you want to get someone as low as possible then b and tele back for the kill.

Exhaust- I can't tell you how many times this has actually gotten me first blood, this is EXTREMELY nice to have if you are letting your opponent push mid and they over extend, which is a prime situation.

Flash- It's definitely nice, but your escaping ability with your W and if needed the Ulti from the W is pretty insane.

Ghost- Again really nice, but you already have about 2 ways to escape being through walls or not, so not exactly needed.

Ignite- Nice for additional damage for getting a kill. Really depends if you want Exhaust or Ignite on your playstyle. If you're confident that you can get kills without Exhaust, I would probably use Ignite.

LeBlanc's Abilities

Sigil of Silence

Mirror Image is really good if your opponent is giving you trouble early game, or even in team fights late. Throughout the whole game, the deceptiveness of your Mirror Image can save you more then you know!

Sigil of SilenceSigil of Silence is your money maker, your cannon. This is where your main damage will come from the whole game, paired with Mimic it is a huge nuke, and can take from 50% to 80% of your opponents life depending on items and how late in the game it is. I've killed people with the Q / R combo numerous times, and it still really never gets old.

Distortion is really nice paired with your Sigil if you are looking to do a decent amount of damage while silencing your opponent. On top of that, Distortion is a really nice tool to save for evading ganks, paired with Mimic, it allows you to go a great distance in a very short amount of time evading death :D

Ethereal Chains is nice to keep your target where you want them to be. It's a pretty easy skill shot, and if you are confident you can Distortion + Chains your target, it should profit in a very nice kill for yourself.

Mimic goes with sigil like white on rice, ask Xaioli he knows ;D;D;D;D. But really, using your Sigil / Mimic combo is going to do insane amounts of damage. You can use it to harass, or go for a gank, either way you are almost guaranteed a kill if you execute her skills correctly with Sigil / Mimic.

Skill Sequence

Some things that people may have questions about is why max out Sigil of Silence. The whole reason is because this will be your main damage dealer, this combined with mimic is going to be your wombo combo. Distortion is also very nice, which is why I level it up along side of Sigil because of the amount of damage it does with the silence if you get a sigil off first. Chains is really meh, it's nice to have a rank in it if you can connect to stump your opponent and follow through with the kill.

Item Choices, read all of this!

Mejai's Soulstealer: This is a pretty needed item, if you rush a Mejai's, you are more then likely going to get a bunch of stacks early game. I have yet to really buy a Mejai's and not benefit from it's amazing power. Enemies usually surrender at 20, which either you will have max stacks, or from 10-16 stacks. Either way, it's definitely an item you want to rush with LeBlanc.

Sorcerer's Shoes: Every person needs a nice pair of shoes once in a while! :D But seriously, Sorcerer's Shoes are probably the only boots you want to get on LeBlanc, they are very needed for the Magic Pen later in the game, as well as the movement.

Rabadon's Deathcap: By far one of the best items in the game for casters, this combined with early stacks of Mejai's Soulstealer will give you an insane boost in Ability Power, and really allow you to gain more stacks of Mejai's quickly because of the boost in ap and the ability to nuke down targets that much faster.

Archangel's Staff: This is another really good item to have, increasing your mana while increasing your AP for as much mana as you have. Some people like to stack these early game, but I find until you have your there is really no point in getting it. I usually get two of these, one of course after the if the game allows me to because of the insane benefits you get from the 3% mana into AP.

Morello's Evil Tome: Also another nice item, some people like to get one early game, and if I was to get one I would probably get it in between your and since it would bring a nice balance into your items, while allowing you to already have your important Deathcap.

Optional

Rod of Ages: If you seem to be lacking survivability, you might try grabbing a Rod of Ages instead of the first Archangel's Staff.

Void Staff: I really like this item since I dont usually get Magic Pen Quints. The ability power + MaP really makes it nice if you have a team that is trying to build against you. This item is really just situational, and if you are facing teams that are not stacking MR I would suggest skipping over this almost all the time. If you are facing a team that is stacking MR though, it's almost need!

Different Item Choices

I know that there has been some questions about LeBlanc being very squishy, and not having enough survivability. The fact is, if you can play LeBlanc well, you don't really need too many survival items! But, this is a guide for people who are new to LeBlanc, so I will suggest different item paths for different situations with LeBlanc! Each item in here should be build before or after and never before your .

Path of the Survivor

Assuming that you already have your Mejai's, and if you decided to or not to get your I would suggest the following items to get before your or not get any items after the staff, and just getting these survival items. These items are in no particular order, and should be built to accompany your opposing team.

Banshee's Veil- I can't tell you how useful this item actually is. Having this Mid - Late game is really going to save your butt if you are letting yourself get in compromising positions. Of course, you want to build a Catalyst the Protector first, then build off of that. The extra health, plus the special passive it has may or may not help you in a team fight, but it's always nice to have.

Rylai's Crystal Scepter- This item is really nice, most of the time you wont even use the slow with your spells you will be nuking down so hard, but if you're going on this path, it'll be nice to get to slow enemies for your teammates in team fights. This is a must have I would say if you are going this path, it's too good to pass up.

Haunting Guise- This is a very nice item, very very cheap to build, and would be nice to get early game. If you are confident in your abilities to get kills late game to stack up your I would suggest getting this first, since it is so cheap and can be built off your

Soul Shroud- This item is very nice if you aren't grabbing the Blue Golem Buff, or aren't able too. This is a perfect surviving item, with a ton of health added, mp5, and the cooldown reduction it will let have the ability to sustain yourself and others in a team fight with mana and CDR.

Zhonya's Hourglass- This is another one of those items that are a must have if the game is lasting long enough. I wouldn't rush it honestly, since if you are building survival and not going for a more nuky tactic, then I would probably slow roll your way into one of these. Either way, this is a very nice item for the AP / Armor / and especially the Active.

Guardian Angel- This item is very nice, it will allow you to be more reckless in situations where you might want to just get to a bush and blue pill. The best thing about it is that it will give you more magic resist, and most of the opposing champs that will get you down quick will be doing magic damage. Besides giving you magic resist, it gives you armor too (for those pesky yi's >:o) and I would highly recommend this if you are trying to survive more.

Some people said that was pretty good for LeBlanc, but even in the survival part of this guide, I wouldn't recommend it since you already have so many ways to escape, and it's active would almost be wasted.

Path of the Nuker

- For this path, I would recommend building up to the then choose from these items as you see fit. Again, these items are in no particular order, and you should build according to your enemy team!

Morello's Evil Tome- This item is really extremely nice. There is really nothing bad about this item, insane CDR and mp5, with some ability power over the top ;D If you are going to be going full nuke, this item is almost a must have since you want your abilities to be up ASAP for killing and not just waiting for escapes.

Deathfire Grasp- I like this item to an extent, let me tell you why. In most situations, you will be nuking kids down with a Q + R combo, or any different variations of combos. The cooldown reduction is very nice on this, but the active is the ONLY reason I would get this item. If you are building nuky, then people really should be getting away from your combos, but if they do this really is the item to have. I have mixed views and people say different things, but from my point you ALWAYS want to start with using this item, then using your combination of skills. I'm not saying this item is bad, but it's VERY good for nuking :D

Lich Bane- Honestly I have never tried this item on LeBlanc before, but judging from other characters i've used it on, I would say this is an insane item for LeBlanc to have if you're going full nuke. By the time you get to this item you should have around 450~ AP, so with your next auto attack that is a whole lot of damage going out with your other skill combinations. I would really like to have someone test this out, just to have some more interaction with mobafire! If anyone would like to test this out with the guidelines of my build, that would be awesome and you would be put into my guide!

Will of the Ancients- This is a very nice item to get as one of your last items as you will be hitting like Mr. T infused with the Hulk. This "WILL" keep you alive in most situations, the passive aura your team will thank you for also.

Path of the Middleman! :D

If you don't want to go by my item build up in the top, I would get a and , including your boots of course, and then pick 2 Survivor and 1 Nuke item. It will give you a very nice balance and allow you to survive while still doing the maximum damage.

Again, if you have any questions, or would like to add something to this part of the guide please let me know in comments! Thank you all so much for your support!

Masteries

9/0/21- My masteries are pretty standard masteries for casters, with a few tweeks. I find that if you are going mid, getting and are pretty nice combinations, and Awareness is almost needed. If you are good at last hitting and farming, you will be able to farm up your Mejai's in no time, making your laning presence known as you will be able to push that much harder. Is definitely nice if you are trying to gank the side lanes while your minions are pushing mid because they had to back since they couldn't take your enormous pressure ;D. The rest of the masteries are pretty straight forward though, let me know if you have any questions in comments.

Farming

You should be able to farm up as much as you want with LeBlanc, you attack animation for last hitting is pretty fast, and should allow you to get about 90% of the last hits. As you get later into the game, you can even use to clear packs of creeps in a flash, allowing you to push the lane further, or just to push the lane back. While your minions are push forward you can either grab the Blue Golem Buff if your jungler lets you, or you dont have one, or take out the wraiths for extra gold / xp. There is no reason that with LeBlanc you shouldn't be able to get most of your last hits farming, again if you have any questions ask in comments!

Laning with LeBlanc

Laning with LeBlanc is pretty easy, and very straight forward. If you are very liberal with your mana, and have someone that will help you get blue buff early on in the game, I would say that you can clear packs with with ease. Otherwise, you really want to save your mana for when you are going for a kill, and not waste it on creeps. You really dont want to start pushing until about level 4, or if you play defensive even level 6, but I mainly get first blood around 4 or 5.

If you are using the regen seals, then I really suggest trying to harass your opposing champion without getting hurt, how you ask?! Well here's how, since you will have some good mana regen, you really want to do this "ONLY" if you have the seals for mp5 since otherwise you will just be wasting mana if you do this. A lot of people that I talk to like to use Sigil of Silence then , but I have found that you can harass your opposing champ in the lane a lot better if you try doing a then Sigil of Silence combo, and hit your W to return to your previous state. This will pretty much allow you to get a free hit in without having to take much damage at all!

In Closing

Pretty much, LeBlanc is really one of the most fun characters I have played on League of Legends so far. Her ability to nuke / evade most situations is rivaled to none. While it be being fed, or not being fed, her ways of nuking down an enemy near their tower, or in a team fight really just depends on if you can stay at range while picking off champs one by one. If you master the art of jumping around the jungle all nimbly bimbly, and have good map awareness, I have no doubts that you will be able to destroy as LeBlanc.

If you have any questions, or just want to comment on my guide let me know. You can always add me on league, my name is Critorious, and good luck playing LeBlanc!

I have gotten a ton of requests in the past couple months, if I have not added you and played, I am very sorry :I
