Hey, what's up, My name is Shawzy92, "I'm GoldV Although I find this due to me not playing ranked that often)I play on EUW, This is my first Guide so I hope you all enjoy, constructive criticism is always appreciated!

Volibear has been one of my favorite champions for as long as I can remember, (Although recently I haven't been playing him because I've been branching out to different lanes)

Now we've hit Pre-S4, I tested him as a support and I found the results outstanding, It's fun and provides some great teamfight initiation as well as a tank (Which is always helpful) Not to mention you can Pump AoE and do a bit of damage along the way.

Pro's;
Great Tank
Has a nice amount of damage
Good mobility and Easy to set kills up
Passive is so OP with Spirit visage and Warmogs - Fact.

Cons;
Passive easily countered by ignite (or any champ with healing reducers)
if you don't setup some kills early on you can fall behind quite drastically
Not alot of escape (But hopefully the "tankiness" makes up for this)

Easy enough,, you could use the extra mobility and to stop their AD burst and hopefully secure getting the upper hand in a fight and scoring a kill or two, So I would recommend these two,


Exhaust


Ghost

Ignite - Although with ignite I've been known to be able to pick up kills I otherwise wouldn't of, but I run the risk too much of stealing from my ADC, so I prefer Ghost.

I use this setup for the CDR, Movement speed but to still be one hell of a tank.

Voli's "Frenzy" skill, is your bread & butter, the lower HP you can get them before needing to use this, will increase it's damage which, who doesn't love dealing the high dps?! You need to auto 3 times before being able to use it but you get increased attack speed per hit stacking up to three times which helps the ultimate as well. (It also scales from your health, more health you have = more damage!)

Also, his Ultimate adds an AoE effect to his auto attacks, so the two skills work together like magic.

His "Rolling thunder" and "Majestic Roar" are your engage moves, Flip em', then Slow em' Simple as.

Overall, I find Volibear an enjoyable support, I would go into detail on his other roles (depending on how good or bad people find this guide)
