Intro: Master Yi: From Master Yi to Master Yizus
As for his Spells, I recommend Heal and Flash, Although Teleport and Ghost are also really nice for Yi too.
The way on how the Build is structured focuses down on Attack Speed, Damage, and Side Orders of Movement Speed and Powerful Defenses. Master Yi can rush for his Sheen, for the Sustain with his extra Mana, and the scary passive that he gains. Finishing it of with boots of Speed, and rushing for your Tri Force is where Yi is going to shine. You can then upgrade your Boots to berserker's graves, and getting your Black Cleaver Next, to get terrifying for mid-late game. Deadman's Plate and Wit's End allow Master Yi to be Uneturally tanky, and giving him 120 Defenses, and your Botrk is used for supreme damage on ALL Champions that he faces, including tanks. The only problem however with Yi's drop-back is the Struggle between going for the Botrk and Wit's end, and getting your Powers earliest, but less defenses, or getting your defenses, but not maxing out your full potential yet, since Master Yi's Attack Speed Potential is at 1.95. It's the Safest way to play him tanky afterward with half of his build complete, and building in Bortk as your last item for his full build to reach at 1.96 Attack Speed; and Making Yi as Cost Efficient as he possibly can.
If I have to be Honest with you people, Master Yi is a Fun Champion, But he's nowhere near Competitive. He struggles on rushing his Sheen and Stinger, before he manages to 'powerspike' into level 6, which by the way, is more focused on teamfights then you are playing averagely, even with the 'Max W First' Strategy. He's not strong enough on farming; to begin with, and his Teamfights consists of Yi fighting one-by-one, instead of focusing on everyone. He's fairly strong in split pushing and backdoors but nothing out of the extreme, sadly enough. He has no CC, so he has to relay on his allies to slow at least one of the enemy champions down, or using your Highlander most of the time, just so he can gain a kill.
Next Up, is Alistar, and one of reasons to why he can get competitive.
