Hello! This is going to be my first guide, Im Latin North God. A Gold 1 Player on Latin server and hopefully platinum very soon. I played on EUW in season 1 because i had a friend on it and my ping was horrid. I was about a 900 elo player on EUW on a 400 ping average. Once i made a new account on NA with new ping i rose up to about 1.4k where i sat for the majority of the first half of season 2. I kind of had gave up on ranked and played occasionally normal games at this point as i felt that i could not get much better. Then i looked into guides,livestreams etc. Also the new ranked system sparked my interest so i decided i would push up to Gold for that sweet sweet Janna skin. I finally did it and i was ecstatic but that's not to say i was pleased with gold. Gold is quite the accomplishment but i always strive to be the best. No matter what game im playing i want to be competing a diamond or challenger level and although i have alot of growing to do i believe i can make it. I hope you enjoy one of my recently most favorite unconventional supports Lissandra.
Despite her recent nerfs i don't think it affected her ability to support to hardly.

Here are some more options when working with masteries of course you can form your own but i prefer these two the sets

I want to add in this section just to elaborate on a few options you can take as support Lissandra. The build i use i feel is pretty optimized but that's a lot of other things you can do. For one you can sub out zhonyas for a Randuins,spooky ghosts or even Shard of the true ice (although i think this item is pretty *** at the moment in most situations). Also you can sub out the Frozen Heart for any other support aura/active that your team might need if you already have a frozen heart on your jungler or top.

Exhaust flash is obviously the most common on supports because you are going to be jumping in and easily be able to exhaust there carry but there are a few other options you can take in certain situations. Heal flash is one that i find can work fairly well on Lissandra as you will probably be in range for a 5 man heal with your kit. Also you can take ignite if your lane partner prefers clense/barrier in that lane and you can still secure a kill. This is something that is seen a lot more over on the Korean scene where there mind set is not who gets the kill but more so a Kill is a kill and now you get to push down free towers. I almost never feel the need for CV but you can take it if you want and CV dragon if you think there doing it then jump in for a 5 man Ring of frost.

Lissandra is so great for setting up kills after 6 and even pre 6. The basic combo you should be trying to hit is Glacial Path directly onto there ADC quickly followed by your Ring of frost. Now there team my try to burst you down instantly so you can Ulti yourself baiting out there ultis while your team cleans up or if they try to dive past you to your carry you can ulti whoever you need to. Another thing i wanted to quickly mention is using your Q in lane. Your Q is honestly a mana drain in my eye. at 85 mana for the damage it gives when your supporting is almost not worth it. You can use it to poke with your passive if you dont want to use ur passive for a sneaky invade when they think you have burned all your mana but other than that i would advise not spamming it in lane (with its short CD it makes it easy, more so once you get CDR).

I honestly believe this is just as viable as support Zyra and Fiddle its just shes still new to the scene so people have not quite figured it out yet. When anyone gives me a hard time for picking support Lissandra i just ignore them and show them in game how strong it is and how much potential it truly has.
